Sushi Posted May 31, 2018 Report Posted May 31, 2018 I wish there have sth like a quest filter/ subforum...etc to sort all the permanent quests in forum, or maybe different subsections for active/ inactive & expired quests instead of putting them all in one section...that would be much much much more easier & user friendly for new players. Build up the tag system, make some standards and unify the keywords for different type of quests like puzzle/festival(eg.2018)/tournament...etc, also maybe u can pin a tagging tips, or make the tags editable for everyone so ppl can help to categorize it even the quest creators are no longer here. This is just my suggestion~ Mallos and Pipstickz 2 Quote
Pipstickz Posted May 31, 2018 Report Posted May 31, 2018 Someone should go through and sort out which quests are permanent and which quests are over...I nominate Sushi! Muahaha! Quote
Ungod Posted May 31, 2018 Report Posted May 31, 2018 In theory this would be implemented in-game, on the quest page. But until that is done, maybe a forum topic with current active quests could work. Quote

All perma quests should be listed ingame, with some requirements, maybe hide some to start with, etc. If you can make a list of perma quests, I can look at getting them ingame and working with their owner to implement them "Officially". The question is whether a distinction is necessary between 'outside game' quests and 'in-game'. Would them all be mashed together in the quest page or only the 'in-game' ones? 'Outside/meta': build a drachorn, build a rain collector, draw a hellhound etc In-game: chasing the darkness (lashtal), 'tutorial' (jubaris; don't know if it's still on), necro demands blood (not really a quest) etc I think they should all be on the quest page, BUT i also feel the distinction should be made somehow Quote
Pipstickz Posted June 1, 2018 Report Posted June 1, 2018 I'd think there should only be a light distinction if any at all between those two types, afterall RL is incorporated in MD too Perhaps a tag-system (as Sushi suggested but in-game instead, atleast I took her suggestion to mean 'on the forum') for the quests on the list explaining what land they're based in, who's running them, permanent vs. temporary, etc etc etc. The tags could also help determine who sees the quests if some are to be hidden on the list. Root Admin Chewett Posted June 1, 2018 Root Admin Report Posted June 1, 2018 Tagging, etc, is a nice Idea I will consider adding too. thanks Pipstickz 1 Quote
