Hi,
I purchased the two additonal erolian orbs from the shop (the ones that offer a temporary bonus) allowing me 6 orbs. Everytime I release all my heat, 6k, and then store it back again, only 4 orbs get filled. I have tried on several different occasions and situations and it always fails to store the 2k heat.

4k is max heat^^
you won't go up to 6k by releasing 6 orbs, so better just release 4 of them =D

If I am not mistaken, heat can go up WAY above 4k, just that 4k gives the maximum amount of bonus, and anything other than that gives no further bonus. I think dst and no one can confirm this, considering that they got hundreds of thousand of heat last time..

So, then what is the point of having those two extra slots if the heat can't be utilized in battle and you lose 2k when you store it back?

They're there so you can store that 2k extra, your heat drains slowly so it might go down if you don't do enough or you might use it for spells if you have them, also they're useful for storing large amounts of heat your expecting...

4400 is the max heat you can have in the heat counter and 4000 what you max can use in battles.

They sacrificed the heat for loyalty first, before getting more heat.

That's correct: we sacced the heat for loyalty cause that was the point after all...getting loyalty

How does this work?

Get yourself a protector (mp6 player or mp7) and then you will have an option (when you click the daily progress compass) to give heat (it's called pray if i remember correctly).
