I'm leaning more against resetting. Is it really absolutely no other way around it? Are there that many complaints from active players that are so serious and unfixable that call for a reset? Resetting sounds like some mad idealists wanting to destroy the world in order to start fresh. I think I made some bad choices that I now regret, but I think part of the growing is learning to accept and make the best out of whatever I have. Over time, things are getting better. It takes time and efforts. Also, the mistakes do really teach me to be better in the long run. What I learn will help me to be a better mentor in the future, which is necessary to advance in the game. I really don't see the benefit of resetting. Show me. To satisfy people who are against it, I think it would help to convince them otherwise if credits and such can somehow be transferred.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Wicca, Treehill. I was raised Christian. I don't like most people at Church. I can't really call myself Wiccan, since I'm still new to it. I have no interests in joining a coven or anything to that effect. I just recently renewed my interest in spiritual matters, so I rather consider myself spiritual not religious. I'm also learning about shamanism and just started practicing meditation and tarot. I found there're a lot of similarities between them, at least conceptually, in a way. I agree with you. I don't think tarot is part of Wicca. It just so happens that Wiccan often likes to use tarot. Theology isn't my strong point. There's so much information out there that I just keep what makes sense to me. I hope my ignorance in Wicca doesn't upset you. What you said was interesting. I think it's human nature that people make careless assumptions that hurt other people, without even making any efforts to know & understand the situation. I suppose what we could do is be compassionate and learn to communicate better. That way, everyone would be benefited from it at the end. Peace!

I just advanced to MP4. When I was MP3, I selected the 24-hour-meditation every chance I got. (I might have missed one or two by mistakes. Anyway, I did at least 6 of them.) I noticed my skills points were never increased as a result of the meditations. Back then, I didn't know to utilize the forum for my issues. Instead I PM the LHO. It's been weeks now, and I'm now MP4. The problem is still not fixed. Doing the math, my regeneration skill alone would have been about 188 ( = 4*1.9[sup]6[/sup] ). (It was a 4 because I got a permanent booster or two at the MD Shop.) That's a big difference between 4 and 188! Did anyone have this problem? Is there a bug? Will it be fixed? Would all my accounts be corrected?

This is cool. I like it! Thanks! I think it might be more descriptive if you list Shamanism instead of Native American Spirituality. Please note there's a row of icons on the left (lined up vertically). Clicking on the scroll (the first icon from top) takes you to story mode. Clicking on the compass (the second one) takes you to free roam mode. Switching pages might help, and you might find something new to do! If you're stuck in story mode, try [b]Tab[/b] in the story. Also try: 1) [b]Ctrl+Shift+Delete[/b] to clear cache 2) press [b]F5[/b] to refresh If it doesn't work: 3) logout & login If it still doesn't work: 4) restart computer If it has something to do with the [b]IP address[/b], power-off and power-on your modem would renew it. Otherwise, read the [b]Bug Report[/b], [b]Resolved Bugs[/b], and [b]Questions and Answers[/b] parts of the forum. (Look toward the bottom right hand side of the forum page, there's a box usually says [b]Forum Home[/b] with a drop down button. You may choose there.) Read at least the titles to see if there's anything relevant to your situation. If nothing works. Describe the issue, and it would also be helpful to upload screen shot(s) of the problem page(s) using [b]Print Screen[/b]. If there's something that can be done, that's not a programming nightmare, and that could minimize simple ignorance, then why not do that? Certainly it only applies to MP3. As for not having a choice for players with higher mind powers, how's that so? Even as MP3, there're times when it's difficult to find people to attack or train with. Also, Willow Shop is only a button away. There're plenty to attack. Isn't that enough? Couldn't MP6 be satisfied with that? Is it really that difficult to restrain oneself from the temptation? As demonstrated by Burns & me, both arguments are reasoned with the same idea along the line of, "It's only a game after all. What's the big deal?!" One could justify how ever one wants. I just rather choose to making MD a more harmonious place where I spend some free time. Surely if one insists on attacking disregarding the rules, it would reflect badly on one's own self. I think the idea of the original post is asking for a more tangible effect on people who choose to break the rules. How about loose the ability to attack for 3 days if an offender has more than 3 complaints within a 7-day interval? Something like that. (Some people might even consider to incorporate this into their strategy. It would work well for the Head Contest. Who knows. But at least it won't go unnoticed.)

I agree. It's irritating. I just got attacked twice in a row at the dojo today by someone... *cough" Eribus (I do PM the offenders to let them know what they did and what the Marble Dale Park dojo is.) However mistakes happen. I've done a few myself. (I did always PM to apologize, and I now go through a mental check list before I attack by asking myself: Am I at the dojo? Is the player on idle? Does the other person has at least 7 heads? ...) It would be nice if the game does something similar to that in the sanctuary, but with a little twist: A picture automatically pops up for the first 3 times when he/she arrives at the dojo to explain the rule. How about that?

Did you actually attack on that first attempt? If so, I think it seemed reasonable. Then you were able to attack for the second time? That's strange. If you didn't actually go through with the first attack, and you just waited another 4 minutes. Maybe it's still normal?

The combined name is long, but the last part is also a name. So the short form is Thea. The meaning of Grid is close to the meaning of part of my real name. When I was in the story mode - "Prologue - The Paper Cabin" and clicked on "Continue to next chapter," the page to choose Principles was loaded. However, the page was frozen and its color dimmed. Nothing worked. Not even "logout" responded. The same thing happened when I was in "Chapter 1 - A strange encounter." I opened 2 more accounts to test it. Same every time. (When testing the 3rd one, I made sure I restarted my computer.) I pressed F5 to refresh. It kinda worked. I say it only kinda worked, because the page unfrozen but the Principle points given changed (became less), and it only worked for the first frozen screen of the 3rd account. But I lost the opportunities on all other occasions, because the following page of the story was loaded instead. Do other new accounts have the same problem recently? Would it be fixed? Would those 3 accounts of mine be credited back the Principle points I lost? ID of the 3 accounts: 137381 138411 138647 Screen shots of both frozen pages from the 3rd account are included.
