If you reverse teh colours of the screen, that white space is black.
And if you look closely, you cna see a shady reflection of yourself in it!
It's a shade?! *smacks monitor with some empty aramors and run away screaming*

(and yes, it's 3:40am and I'm over-tired. but this was fun!)
