About that, Glaistig. . . Did I ever tell you that the "glaistigs" are too small and scrawly to be recognized?
Hnn, I just found a picture of an aphid off of some site, took it without permission, cropped it, and stuck a small border on it. Oh, kidding, /of course/ I would get permission, or, ah, it's already declared for public use.
I suppose I should get something more humorous and creative than an aphid. . . It just fit with my signature, though.

Other than stopping the loading in the middle, other players just pick a different skin by choosing at the bottom of the page; you can do that if you're tired of clicking that x.

I guess not, because I attacked Glaistig, who gave me -24 honor. Instead of it being 5093, though, it went down to 4976, acting as if my balance was 5000.
Well, I suppose that's a farewell to that cool factor. -

This isn't really a bug, but just found it interesting that you can get above the max honor limit during storymode, and it carries on when you get out.
I hear from other players that it appears as 5k when they check my honor, though, so it only holds "cool" factor for me. Poo. -

I don't know, it might be a bug, but I know some people can just start a head contest on a whim without announcing it. Saw it happen once.

Adding on to the information Glaistig gave for #1: I also have this problem on IE, but never did for Firefox. Maybe Firefox will have no problem, so that you don't have to switch the skin if you don't want to.

Well, the trophies you get for achieving some things already show this to some extent, though I'm not sure if they're shown in the actual profiles. I also suppose the trophies don't cover the smaller things like quests and stuff, though.

I think quests would be fun, but I'm not sure about the other players giving the quests part. I think it'd be better if, you know, it would tie in with the storyline and such.
Actually, MD has this already with the defeating the shades part, but it doesn't really give a reward that you don't get from normal fights.In any case, I like the quests (if you call them that) that MD has already, but I'd just like more of them. There probably will be more later, I bet.

... Sun Wukong and the Journey to the West is better than all of it together, but the movie eragon was bad imo.
And forbidden kingdom just messed the mythology up, but it at least had nice fighting scenes in it.
I never watched the movie for Eragon. Just saw the commercial, and let me just say: Wth's with the actor for the protagonist? Was it so hard to find a good actor with dark hair to fit the description in the book? EH?
Well, they say the movie and the book are separate pieces of art, but urk. My immediate impression was that they were trying to appeal and cater to girls who would that look "hunkish." Sorry, my opinion, shouldn't judge by appearances anyway; still repulsed me very much. Seeing that commercial also made me sense the cliche-ness of the story even more. Something about actually seeing it amplifies that sense.

Okay, this is a bit off-topic, but ugh, Eragon. That series got to be one of the worst fantasy series I read.. I can't believe a movie was made of it. Reminds me of Harry Potter. Especially in the second book. Well in any case, I don't want to spoil it for anyone, even if it is horrible in my opinion, so I'm not about to complain in detail.
Don't be so harsh on it; I liked it, it seemed like an interesting story (while I read it). The sequel just had a few holes, but so do many books. You're just bashing it because it's unfairly popular compared to other books. DX Silly. I've read many, many worse books.

lol, we got off topic again.
That true name thing has been in lots of fantasy literature, mostly with things like elves and demons; I think it probably originated from religion or something, unless something really influential like LOTR mentioned it.

I know what you mean~ I think I spent over a week (not sure) on Magicduel reading the next part of the story for 5 minutes, then just randomly clicking and checking things. It felt deathly empty and isolated x_x;.
Having a chatroom wouldn't be bad, nor mock battles, but it kind of goes against the "reality" of the story, which is kind of why we can't freeroam anyway, right? I don't know anything else that would lessen the wait that wouldn't go against the story, though.

If Northlord had not come from mp3, I would've been in 3rd.

I noticed that people could roll over their score into the next mp level when they advance.. like for instance Noa, who was for some time on the leaderboard before she went into story mode. It disappears when in story mode, but I still think it isn't fair.. Probably because I would've gotten third if Northlord hadn't advanced to mp4. >_> I'm pretty sure he advanced just yesterday, and I wonder if he purposely didn't enter story mode because of this.
Circumstances in each mp level are different.. I think that if someone was able to get a high score in his mp level by defeating his competitors, he shouldn't win in the next mp level he advances to because he didn't actually do better than the players in that mp level (well, in this case at least; I doubt Northlord even fought any mp4s). Actually, he wouldn't even have gotten third if he stayed in mp3.
Well, my rant ends here.
EDIT: Yeah, I posted this at 00:00 server time thinking the contest would end (like it was supposed to?).
Afterwards the contest continued and Chimeara got my place (4th). Nonetheless, I'm still annoyed and I bet Chimeara is annoyed as I was earlier. -

I didn't have this problem with Firefox, but I do have it on IE. I heard from some other player (not sure who) that you can stop the whole page from going blank by stopping the loading once it has loaded the box to type in, etc. If you let it load all the way, then it becomes blank for some reason. I might change to the other skin just to save the trouble, though.

yes there is a time delay on attaacks and messages as well as chat log at tthe moment so it is not uncommon to have this happen
i have tried clearing the chache and it didnt work as far as the time lag but hey it happens and it did however take off the constant popping up of the attacked icon though

I heard that someone else (Gjinja) also has this problem, or a similar one. I'm not sure if people would really attack them that often, though; it might actually be a bug, not a time delay. . . probably like what Chewett said.
