1. This is completely new to me so I will definitely need all the help I can get. Next week I will post a two day schedule. So we can fill it properly with different commercial and artistic activities. For now let’s celebrate MD Birthday :drinks: (I’ve been told fair sounds like a festival or party… Does Open Market or Market Fair sounds better? My English is limited so I wouldn’t know. ) K
2. icepheonix has offer some items too. :clapping: We have goods, music, stories... (do we need is a clown like the story-mode? hope not... I hate clowns) So now we are going to coordinate everything. I believe we can have a squedule and determine the location or locations for the fair. The lands authorities migh have something to say about that. K
3. Yes Sister Sage Real items and invented items will be for sale/trade I am unable to send this invitation to each one of you, so please forgive me if you havent received it yet. here it is: Greetings, It is very likely you are informed about the fair project. If not I can give you a few more details (or you can find out easily at the Forum). I am inviting you to be a part of this event. Like I always said, you don’t need to be a trader to trade. Perhaps you might have found something interesting in one of your excursions… a snake, a rare stone. Or you might have a few objects witch you prefer to trade rather then keep. If you have manufacture something I am sure it can be quite valuable on the fair. If you are a storyteller, or an artist your performance will be also well received. So please accept this cordial invitation. Respectfully, Kriskah Arcanu. Travelling Merchant Ps: The fair is being organized at the forum, that way anyone can publish the goods, or arts they will like to share.

5. I do not have creatures for sale. But I will sell - trade my Items. Handkerchief Red Apple Tiny bronze gears Yellow herbs The Flask with stone oil will not be for sale. I intend to use it on a quest. After that I will trade it too. I will soon publish a list of goods for the Fair. I encourage you to do the same. You dont need to be a trader to trade
6. Good idea, then creatures for sale too Thanks Jester. (Please ideas and colaboration needed, remember I am only a travelling merchant)
7. I want to thank everyone for their support on this project. Thanks to you I have purchase a couple of items, but they are not enough for the Fair so far. I am not sure if more randomly delivery items will appear; so I rather give the silver coins back to you until this currency actually can buy stuff. The Fair Project will continue, but it will take time. Like I have post before, and I know Grido will support me on this one… Items for now are too precious; they have been accepted as medals or rewards and won’t be easily trade for silver coins. If you help me, we can put this fair together, and we can start trading other goods instead (roll created goods), so many more can participate. I am sure this will make a few people more aware of the social value of a market fair. I am looking for storytellers, musicians, craftsmen, traders, fortune-tellers, anyone who would like to sell their stuff or perform during the fair. Regards, K
8. Great art work Ferir! If you want ideas for females all I can say is... the are a few common characters on MD with no powers at all, I am sure they will enjoy, including me, to see avatars performing simple actions, like riding a horse, reading a book, playing the guitar...

Regards,

K

10. Gracias a todos! Thanks everybody I just came back from Cuernavaca. My hollidays are oficially over Back to business!! PS: Grido, it is not MY fair.
11. I couldnt find any previous coments about the Festival. So Im just posting a few impresions as a common player. + The maze was fun, but I was hopping to find some danger inside. Nevertheless, amazing work. I hope it reopens soon. I would like to try again... i might solve it faster + I couldnt see what happened at GG but it was fun to listen to all the fuss on the game and at the forum. Can someone publish some pics? - Not everyone with real email received the free credits + It was a bit too long but I enjoyed the meeting at the House of Tainted Times. It was a great opportunity to see how new ideas are implemented. BTW... How does the factions organization working? - Items (this is something that has a direct effect in The Fair Project so i will elaborate a bit more) Some how players fell in love with their randomly given items, no matter if it is a T-shirt or a bag full with nails. Players became attached to their items the same way as if they where a character related item. Unfortunaly this bizarre situation wont aloud items to be trade and sold as common merchandize. So perhaps gender related items could be an alternative to this situation... like a pink lipstic. Mens/womens boots, etc. I can help with a list of items if necessary. Regards, (I appologize for my grammar) K
12. Thanks Liiberty. I didnt know about the link. MDNP didnt sound like newspaper to me so I never clicked it. Now I have something else to read during hollidays
13. No free credits and no Newspaper I only got the news. And I did subscribed. *sighs* I see Im not the only one who did not receive it... so perhaps the Newspaper could be at the Archives too so everyone could read it. K
14. You have my support too. :clapping: K
15. Many have asked me how this is going to be implemented. I truly don’t know, this is just an opportunity I was given witch suddenly became a project. What I have been doing this first days, beside getting support, is a bit of research for witch I believe is a long term project. As I explain before, it is a fact that coins are in hands of a few, I do not believe this will be always the same. Im also sure that items witch are now are only a few and only part of a specific roll play will gain variety and will be easily traded. If silver coins and items get the role they deserve we will see some important changes on the game. Market will enrich community development; economic relations will bring many other types of social relations inside the realm. A job, a deal, a loan, will have a real meaning in economic terms inside the realm. Many things will have to happen first... but sure is fun to expeculate. K
16. I heard some good news, so even if it takes time i know this event will take place. I will also like to thank the support from: Junior Grido Kragel Metal Bunny Regards, K
17. Market Fair on Magic Duel The main idea for this project is to give MD world a brand new type of public space. A place for shopping, gathering, listen to stories and more. It is a big project so I hope to involve all members of the MD comunity. Sponsors: .Khalazdad. Cryxus Marvolo Jonn Peace Liberty *SageWoman* Shadowseeker With the fair items and silver coins will start to flow, this will aloud RCP, PWR, everyone to meet each other in a complete different context. Items will gain value as they become related with different type of uses and rol character playing. I do believe that is their main purpose. I see some difficulties: 1. Most Items are made precisely for the RCP and PWR, so they don’t even think about trading them or selling them. 2. Most players don’t have silver coins to shop if the fair takes place. It seems we have an upper class on MD. 3. Grido and I won’t make a Fair, more traders are needed. I will keep you posted, thanks for your support. Kriskah Arcanu.
