I find the auction, to be honest and to get my reputation to -100 or so, rather stupid. Stupid because i can't find any other word. As much as I agree that people should be rewarded for their work, I am simply.... dumbstruck? (did I invent a new word?) by the idea of an auction. If you want to reward them, reward them personally. Not by putting some awesome creatures / other things under our noses and then let people show off how much credits they pay. (yes shadow, i read your post). An auction should give ALL participants an equal chance, or at least try to. And the idea of a separate auction for... "lowlifes" i think you'd call us if even more hilarious. What are we gonna fight for? An Aramor with Claw 1 on it??

I'd like the idea as well if i knew I'd stand a chance. I tried to ignore every bad aspect of MD until now. People get away unpunished, some get to finish quests faster because they tucked some coins in the right pocket, creatures / items given for the very good reason of being in 'love' with someone 5000 miles across the world, completely unfair system for newbies, and many more. I hate being impolite, but one thing I don't stand for is discrimination. Argue about this as much as you want, this is just the way i see it.

As I said, my intention is not to alter the course of the current auction, but to point out some things (that may or may not deflate some ego-s). MD is going the wrong way, and I think the best example of what happens when something goes wrong from the high positions in the social hierarchy is Romania itself, Mur / Manu should know what i'm talking about. It's pretty much the same situation.

Nothing was ever done, even though he insulted various members of the forum and "hacked" her account

If the ban was for that, i would be in favor, But personally with that many accounts, its pointless to ban one

Also, the ban seems rather harsh for some words, If you want to say the ban is for what he did previous, then why wasnt it done earlier? his guilt is undeniable

And..although this is unasked for, since jail does sound harsh, it isn't used for administrative reasons as much anymore it seems, because Mur would ban directly. Plus, you can still RP inside the prison. The madman just gets even more mad, if that is possible, talks to nonexistent people, etc. And when he gets out, he's even crazier, attempts it even more vile.

Also don't forget, you can even make forum polls to get out, aside from just escaping from jail.

So I acted according to what I thought was best for MD. Now... you wish to bring up private conversations we had on YIM? How childish. MD is not YIM, is not private conferences there. MD is what we do within MD. And within MD, Adam Riddle is mentally ill as you told me as well so I locked him up to the asulym (prison).

What is wrong about this? I believe that when it comes to the well fare of the people of every land in MD, people who have mental issues should be locked up and treated accordingly.

Adam Riddle is just playing his role, hallucinating and doing some things in his imagination, so "destroying" the Howling Gates is very impossible for a man like him. He was sent to jail for two unreasonable reasons;

1)"Destroying" the Howling Gates, and
2) Being mentally ill.

Anyway, that was not the point of discussion. I myself prefer to RP about... at least something close to everyday activities (except blinking around XD)
but i prefer a more.. funny approach. i guess that's because of lack of fun IRL but i dislike RP's of 'death and OMG call the police' stuff. i think we should just keep it funny
