1. Just a note on Prizes: As far as I know, I will be sending them to [s]all[/s] some winners. Depending on when the information of who gets what to whom, it may take a day or two depending on my work schedule and other things before you get your prizes. If at all I happen to forget/miss you on my list, please send a friendly reminder and I shall get to you as soon as possible. If you try PMing me saying you won when you did not, well.... I don't think the outcome will be nice. : 3 Edit: In order for you to get your credits [if you choose to get any], I will need your player ID as well. Please and thank you.

Anonymous quote of which should open all your bloody minds.
I can't believe this quest is even being questioned on the forums. It was a side quest created for entertainment, as roleplay used to be. I believe that most of you don't even understand what roleplay is enough to insult it, yet you still do. It seems to be a trend in the human population to destroy what one does not understand. I listen to the veterans gripe about no one creating decent quests, and no one creating anything new and interesting, and even entertaining. Have none of you stopped to question that perhaps this isn't possible with the way the game mentality is currently? We take the secrets of what is what and hide them away, fearing that someone might believe that they've "won the game" if they know of them. The people that DO know them don't create anything, and more often than not, they are the ones who complain. Since the days of RPC, the ridiculous secretive mentality hasn't changed. Only those who have patted Muratus the right way know about what MD is supposed to mean, how it's supposed to work, and how to go about getting what they want from it. It's the same favoritism as it was then, except now people don't display that favoritism with dots beside their name, they simply display it with a cocky- haughty attitude.
What is wrong with you people? Even NOW you can't stop bickering about what was right and wrong. Yet, another issue has been displayed in this message above. You all hoarde secrets because you can't damn do anything to educate the younger people. When I participated in this quest, as little as I did, I never knew about the taint until it was brought up in a discussion with Shara. And you want to know WHY the people are so ignorant? Not only because you hoarde it-- but because no one will bother sharing anything about the past, because of fear for spoilers, bloated egos, and constant complaining, nagging, and jamming EVERYTHING down people's throats. And because the beloved AL is gone, you all think you can't do crap. So sue me if I am being Nasty. But someone needs to say it. I am tired of you all being nothing but a lot of nasty little finger pointers, suck ups, and egoists.

Personally I think people are too afraid to step up and do everything they wish to do. As I see it, people are always wanting to please the 'higher ups' or are too afraid of doing something wrong in their eyes and therefore be considered stupid. Which, in my eyes, is a slight form of sucking up, but that is just me. As I have learned in all my time of preaching... it really does get you no where. And to be blunt, it took me a while to realize that until I took a step back, and I dissociated myself from the game and took a good look. What I see, is not a pretty thing to be honest. If anyone has anything to blame on someone, it should be themselves for letting it get this way.

Exactly. Instead of running around like Chickens with our heads cut off, and crying witch at every corner, perhaps things will get done. I applaud that you made a move without waiting on the dominoes to fall. So what if what Rumi did left out something vital from in game? Perhaps, if people were to stop-- for lack of a better term-- bitching all the time, and fussing about what goes where, and how to do whatever, people would.. oh, I don't know-- ENJOY THE GAME A BIT MORE. Perhaps, if you guys took more risks, and actually got off your high horses and actually let things roll with the punches, then we wouldn't be having this conversation. So what? Maybe it was uncouth, but was it disastorously wrong? Was it 'quoting the words of the lore' in which Mur hates? No. Maybe I am getting a bit off topic, but, we wouldn't have had this problem if people weren't pointing the nasty finger at Mya and Rumi for actually trying to bring things to the game. You lot whine constantly about nothing being done. Well guess what? SOMETHING IS BEING DONE. And I am sick and tired of veterans thinking they're all hot shit because they've seen everything. No one can predict the future. Just because you have been here forever doesn't mean crap.

I m going to simply sum up this entire thing as to why nothing will get done/fixed by stealing a rant from Mr. Granos. Posted 18 February 2010 - 03:03 PM
[Rant] Ok so its time for a real post on this issue, lets focus on what the main subject matter of this is, the problem with MD? Well guess what its not Murs incomplete projects or the lack of shiney things or AL, history or whatever other BS reason you may have. It all simply boils down to the problem being you, You the players of MD who would rather rant whine and complain about lack of things rather than working with what you have. I swear its actually worse now than it was with the RPCs, which is scary that I find myself agreeing with Burns, although not in nearly the same regard, as it seems EVERYONE now is incapable of action because they seem to wait and demand that they need X to do this or Y I cant do this because of the lack of. When you all seem to be missing the most important aspect of what makes MD what it is. Its not the fucking lore or history or even the little stories, those are filler little distractions and praise, its all about the perceptions of how you see things how the hell do you think its possible to have something like the savelites otherwise? Savelfuser was not a god, yet there is an enitre church built around one character, hes not widely regarded as a god, but enough people saw him as such thus it was through thier perceptions that such a thing is made possible, Religion in md. Now you might be wonding where Im going with all of this well its quite simple most of you love to sit back and come up with great ideas and concepts for things but then NEVER do them you say oh lets stand togeather and fix this but when it comes down to it, people will look up to you as they already have and you fail them epically, how so? Just by making your self serving posts here in the forums youve failed them as that means you talking about fixing things rather then doing it. We have the tools already to do any of the given suggestions here and we dont need mur to code anything for it to happen. Yrth suggested a PAL well its really easy to set something like that up, hell Ive being doing my own personal one since ive started playing MD watching people and recoding their actions its usually how I end up choosing people to come and work on project with me to actually have something happen in md. For a PAL to work just get a few freaking people in on it and put it up on a RPC item and there you go! Oh I cant do this I cant do that, let me put it in very simple terms for all of you, Ive managed of all freaking people to cause and generate more things happening in md than some of the past would be RPCs for quite some time with little to NO TOOLS, if I can do it then anyone can. It is better to ask forgiveness than permission. [/Rant]
6. If I may also add a bit of something that Firs had said... Nothing will ever be perfect in MD. Nothing will ever have the shining gold and glitter that makes people want to participate in things, or make things 'acceptable' or 'kosher' in the minds of all these veterans who think they know more, who think the things that people come up with are worthless. If you want things to happen, then by damn, shut your traps and let things die on their own for a change instead of jabbing at it, picking at it, and dissecting it before it even had a chance to be started. THIS is what MD is about-- using your creativity to make it a fun game. Not a drama llama farm with a bunch of people spitting at each other because they want to. /end rant.

  8. Oh, sweet. So my comments were slightly on base with what was actually happening.

  10.
Hmmm, doesn't Peace's avy have nipples/is naked?
Peace's Nipples are actually... "golded" out, to speak. All that is seen, is the shape of the breast with no actual nipple view. Supposedly, it is acceptable in women to show the entirety of the breast without showping te nipple. If there is a nipple shot, then it is then considered full nudity. Some people don't consider the showing of the buttocks as nudity, either, as is the case of Ectremere's Avy.
  11. I am not sure whom that was to, but I made another connection, which is probably incorrect. A quote from the source:
ELEMENTS: The four basic elements to many pagans are earth, water, air (wind or spirit) and fire. Many consider the first two passive and feminine - and the last two active and masculine. In Wiccan or Native American rituals, the "quartered circle" (also the Medicine Wheel) represents a "sacred space" or the sacred earth. The four lines may represent the spirits of the four primary directions or the spirits of the earth, water, wind and fire. (This set of elements differs from those used in alchemy.)
12.
When this gate closes, the "minus" rebalances to "plus" the infinite void turns into infinite energy. (Don't argue about notion of infinity, in this case i refer to highest source of something, the SUN is the source)
So that is what you meant with the post about infinite... Luke, perhaps the fourth gate is not necessarily 'good' or 'bad' but neutral. Aside from all that, I am not going to pretend that I know ANYTHING of what you guys are talking about, so. I wing it. When I think of gates, I happen to think of a pentagram. However, a pentagram in this case has FIVE points to it, this relating to some religious aspect, I surmise. However, in the middle of that pentagram is a 'point' of sorts, the complete middle which becomes another geometric shape of which has five sides. A pentagram is ALWAYS covered by a circle, which, after I did some digging stands for infinite, the sun, female power, and wholeness. In Christianity, the seven points relate to the five senses. However... in China, it is called Wu Xing, and each of the five points stand for five different phases/elements. I don't know if this has any -relevant- correlation, but, I hope it does. If not, I apologize.
  13. Happy Birthday. I do hope it goes well, Mister.

  14. I say nothing for I am ignorant. I wish I were more intelligent to say the things I long to say.

  15. I like the announcement, like Chewy Said. In the back of my mind, I was always thinking that perhaps this would be a solution, and voila! It is implemented. As for the mp6 thing and above... MP6 are normally in alliances, anyway, so maxing their creatures would be easy. However, I do not agree with people going all happy dandy and gathering adepts JUST because they want to max their creatures. I stand by those who actually become mp6 to help people, rather than for selfish reasons. Other than that, Mur said RARE creatures. Probably like Darks, Morphs, etc. Which, is probably to also help them from becoming a monopoly?
  16. As the title says! Happy Birthday, you adorable little monster, you. <3 May you terrorize-- Er, I mean, conquer the world around you and be the best that you can be! <3
  17. Obviously. THANKS FOR POINTING IT OUT, CAPTAIN BLEEPIN' OBVIOUS.

Just some random images I have taken throughout the years.
  19. Xrieg, like I said before, I'm not making it an issue, I am displaying a personal concern about the newbies only learning the RDFA style. As I had also said before, I don't really care that they use it. But because nearly ALL of them are using it, they are nto really learning game mechanics, as stated by myself and others, which leads to the possible things: 1. Frustration in newer players 2. Decreasing Morality in newer players And possible other happenings which I cannot think of at the moment. The problems with numbers 1&2 is the fact that their frustration from not knowing the mechanics very well will possibly make them want to leave the game, not advance into MP5, or whatever.
  20. I forgot that wins/victories for MP3 are the same... so they're pretty much harvesting wins without wanting losses.. A lot of the newbies complain about getting losses, too when a rit is broken or the person attacks without non damage.
  21. I'm caving into myself with each gust of wind you throw upon me.

  22. I'm not trying to make it an issue, I'm just displaying a concern because someone actually DID think that RDF was part of the rules. Or, from how they stated it, it made me think that they had legitimately thought that non damage was part of the rules. But as for the experience thing, It might have been old experience gained and they only needed wins... I don't know. I cannot remember.
  23.
Experience gained is directly proportional to they amount of ve lost, so with non-damage rituals no xp is gained.
I only remember that while doing non damage you receive some sort of experience. It must have been creature experience, then. I only did this for a few hours when BigC was around, but within that I was able to get quite a bit of experience for my creatures. I understand that these are extremist views, but, the extreme can happen.
  24. GGG stands for Golden Globe Gazebo. I was always told/taught that the GGG is basically using non damage rituals. What it does, is it gives wins for players creatures and experience for the player. Now, this is out of my experience. My thought process, was basically the players would only learn the RDFH style of fighting, getting strong creatures, while not really knowing much about any other types of fighting. The creatures become strong, but yet, the player does not necessarily become educated. As I said before, I don't care about GGG or whatever happened with it. However, I think of it as an asset to mp5 players. Another thing that I worry about is that the newbies will think that RDFH is an actual requirement of the park when it isn't. I mean... as I see it, younger players would get so hooked up on the new style of fighting that they won't necessarily get the wins and losses that they need to move up. And without new players to move up the ranks, then, again, as I see it, the newbies will stay at mp3 and not bother to brave the upper levels. That is my concern.
  25. I'm not being a busy body. Maybe you should stop attacking people for their concerns because you're so obviously elite.
