Citizens of Marind's Bell

This is my notice of resignation. It will not be an instant resignation. I will not leave Marind's Bell without a monarchy, or a plan in place. It will not be business as usual.

I am exhausted. With this extreme weather that hit my area my daily life was in chaos, and no it was not the good kind of chaos. I was 8 days without electricity, internet and even cell phone had terrible connection with towers down (either physically or in their work ability). Finally I am connected, and here is the rub,my internet provider is now down while they do the repairs that they could not do while all the electrical wires were being worked on.(I wrote this while I waited for internet to come back on line) I could not get to Marind's Bell. When I connected to leave messages in mood panel, I would see many who requested teleport and I could do nothing about it.

Now in my real life I have less time than I did in my early days. With a new work schedule that includes working six days in a row, and I dont have internet access while at work, not even on my lunch, I will be away from game for over 10 hours on these days and with so many days in a row, I feel this will not be good for MB. The need to go back to University is overwhelming, and I am in process to start back.

This has been an exciting time for me. I saw resources become an important part of our daily lives. Many new and good changes have taken place.

With my fond memories to take with me, I know the next Queen/King will have the time of their life also.

With memories and knowledge of a bright past I wish you healthy days and pleasant dreams in your future.

I have only been a citizen of Marind Bell for a short time, but during that time and even before I have appreciated your presence and your leadership. At least you won't be leaving out of anger and unhappiness.

I have received a few messages that ask if I will leave MagicDuel.

I will stay in MagicDuel, I will stay in Marind's Bell. My life here is very important to me.

I will be here in MB still, and in Guild. I am not leaving MD
I don't have the time that is needed. I take this job seriously
I have not seen resignations. Well, I had the two rebels, and the two
played that part well. I look forward to guild work, to questing and
will miss being Queen. Things changed faster than I wanted. This
storm made me realize I have to do things to protect home in future because
I know these storms are just beginning. "Winter is coming"

so thats one resignation, not really resignationS as said. Anyways he gave the MB council a choice and said that if any one person doesnt want him to stay as king he will resign, which to the reply, more than one person said they didnt want him as king.

Personally i think a resignation is better than being booted out, shows the person knows when time is up and doesn't cling to power. Would be even worse if someone who didnt have enough time just stayed monarch because of the shiny tools.

I'd like to try organizing a sort of "Retirement Party" for our lovely Queen, if possible.
In that regard, we'll obviously need to coordinate timezones and such.

I am saddened to see you go Queen Kets you have always been a great inspiration to me, ( I know this a late post but I feel I must say something) as The Queen has been steadfast and true to MD, not like some.... Unfortunately not being online is a huge problem and I understand why you have to go.....the negative peeps know who they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
