Hello everyone! I am so incredibly excited to be considered part of Marind Bell! It is the land I by far spent the most time in before my slumber. Before land loyalty was a thing. I have always felt more at home at MBthan elsewhere. I love that MB is such an open land yet shows just the surface of all of its many secrets to any who enter. I have decided not to prolong my term as MB king (few years ago before Chewy became the king, we made a protocol to check the kingship every 6 months and organize a new vote if necessary, based on previous experiences). A process that lasted a few months (candidacy, method of voting, voting, contacting admins, etc.) is finally ended and we have a new king after succesful elections! Nadrolski was the only candidate, in an election that had option to support Nadrolski's candidacy and an option "none of the above" practically against Nadrolski's candidacy. Hello everyone! I've been in the realm for more than two weeks now, and I have traveled around. But I've noticed that I always return to Marind Bell, it's always welcoming and lovely to me. I have friends here already, and my love is also from here. It already feels like home. So here I am, trying to get a proper citizenship. I am requesting any MB related artworks, posters, or images that already exist, created by players to be linked here(that has been on the forums, etc), for something personal and to serve as a nice archive where people can view them all in one place if they wish to, rather than searching all over forum topics for them. Hello everyone and thank you for your warm welcome to Marind Bell already. I am quite fond of this land and have enjoyed meeting some of you already. I even have the great fortune of knowing Maebius IRL. I have made a petition for citizenship because I can not fathom finding another land as inviting. My favorite spot is Willow's Shop because I love the music played at that scene. And I finally defeated the second guard. Took some doing! I am exceptionally saddened to be writing this but today I must leave Marind Bell. Due to a number of unreconcilable differences, refusal for additional discussion and to preserve our friendship I am leaving the land. One day I will return, if the land will have me back, but for the moment I must leave to let him rule how he wants. I will do what I can to help my friends in MB, and still am a member of the land in my heart. Today i tender my resignation for the Kingship of Marind Bell. I had planned to leave after my first term as i told all citizens of MB before i was elected, which would be around christmas, but some things have changed, as have my priorities. The primary reason for my kingship was to set up the Kings Council and ensure that it would last beyond my time as King, I believe this is now set up properly with parties other than me pushing for meetings and similar. But there were a number of things i did not do and i shall be helping my successor with these objectives if they wish. As King of Marind Bell, Leader of KoB, I hereby sentence one of my citizens to jail, for the period of a week. Fang Archbane, charged with swearing, being abusive and lack of thinking before actions will face this sentence. After this period, he will be accepted back in KoB and/or the land if he wishs in the hope that he will have cooled down after this period of time. The results have come in, and apparently i am now King of Marind Bell. This is a great step towards further action in MB. We have already done a lot of work with the alliances and going from the small idea of a MB government i discussed with Rheagar, to approval by the MB people and now the council is a great move. I thank all that did, and didnt, vote for me for MB Kingship. I look forward to comments from anyone who did or didnt vote for me. The reason I applied for monarch is the following. I wasn’t planning to go for it, not at all, but I heard a few MB citizens saying there were only “famous” candidates, Chewett and Fang I presume, and no representative of the “common” citizens. They wanted somebody who talked with the people a lot and knew what they wanted. I thought: “Well, I was a spy for Loreroot once, I work in a bar and talking is something I am very good at. So why not apply?” I will never abuse the power that goes with the job and will do my utmost best to be a good and unprejudiced monarch.
