Over the past weeks the new Marind Bell government structure has been planned and implemented. We are now having elections to elect a monarch so i thought it was time to inform not just those who have access to our private forum how Marind Bell works. This new governmental structure was initially planned by myself, reviewed by Rheagar and then discussed on our private forum by any citizens that wished to discuss it. The government is for MB, so MB shall decide how it functions. For citizens applying to Marind Bell we recommend you find a sponsor already in the land. This will allow them to post information about you on the private forum where discussion may take place and will allow people to get to know you without you having to go around finding everyone and talking with them. Marind Bell has really been the only place I've ever actively wanted to be a citizen of. I originally had citizenship, then I joined the Water Dowsers and I had a problem with too many people attacking me for loyalty. I finally made a decision to quit the guild, and I lost my citizenship when I did. Kets became queen, and she eventually restored my citizenship. Citizens of Marind's Bell This is my notice of resignation. It will not be an instant resignation. I will not leave Marind's Bell without a monarchy, or a plan in place. It will not be business as usual. I am exhausted. With this extreme weather that hit my area my daily life was in chaos, and no it was not the good kind of chaos. During the last meeting of the Marind Bell Council we spoke about the election of a new King or Queen. Out of this conversation it turns out there are two very qualified candidates for the position. These two Candidates are Lightsage and Handy Pockets. After resigning from kingship I thought a long time about who would be the best candidate for the next king/queen. At first Lightsage was my choice but after a long time of consideration and talking with various people I came to another conclusion. Both Lightsage and Handy Pockets are very good candidates for kingship, but I think that what Marind Bell currently needs is a person like Handy Pockets. I talked with Handy Pockets about queenship and am sure that she is the best candidate.
