Grido Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) Anyone know a ~good~ free programme that I can watermark images with? (Preferably not a free-trial) The watermark itself should be resizeable/scaleable so that I can use it on smaller images as well as larger ones. Thanks LE: I have looked through google a bit, but some ask for card details cos of free trial, others are generally rubbish. Was hoping someone here had used/found a decent one. Seigheart Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Watermark it on your own with paint.net or other various free image editing software. Quote
Ivorak Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 You could try IrfanView. It allows batch editing, as well as overlay, according to the features page. Available for free, as well. I've used it before to change color images to greyscale, but that's it. http://www.irfanview.com/ Quote
Root Admin Chewett Posted May 9, 2012 Root Admin Report Posted May 9, 2012 use gimp for full image editing, without the cost http://www.gimp.org/ GNU all the way! Quote
Liberty4life Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 lol dude.... yeah i agree with wookie, gimp works perfectly fine, any image editin tool that is more advanced than paint has this option last time i checked adobe acrobat (pdf maker) has watermark feature since ages ago, i even think that ya can add watermark in ms word >_> however aint sure of it Quote
Maebius Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 I'll also agree GIMP is a wonderful free program that supports layers and many other "photoshop-like" features. Quote
Tom Pouce Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) I never used it, but they say that, the free version after the delay still work for watermarking, just few options than the paid version http://www.uconomix....rk/Default.aspx http://www.uconomix.com/Products/uMark/Comparison.aspx Edited May 9, 2012 by Tom Pouce Quote
