Intrigue Posted August 30, 2014 Report Posted August 30, 2014 Lashtal gets to keep Mur by/close to himself by Killing mur. (keeper of the dead) Lashtal was destined to kill Mur Lashtal had to kill Mur, because he does what his god tells him to. Lashtal killed Mur because he loves him. Lashtal killed Mur so he (lash) could be redeemed.

Lania Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 1. Lashtal was destined to kill the god; 2. To learn from the gods death; 3. To prove his love (and loyalty) to the god; 4. To be known as the godslayer (or the one who freed the god from his physical cage-the body); 5. To free himself from the chains of god worshiping; 6. Because the killer had a secret and the god knew about it; 7. Because they both shared a secret and "2 can keep a secret if one of them is dead" - credits to: The Pierces - Secret :D

Gljivoje Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) - lashtal is an evolving psychonaut who explores boundaries of his inner and outer self, so killing a God represents an action that no one tried or achieved before, and in that way lashtal prospered with a new obtained knowledge by moving the known boundaries of his mind possibilities further and deeper - lashtal wants to achieve higher states of his own being and consciousness, to expand his learnings to another dimensions. He learned much from Mur in his alive material state, but as himself being a keeper of the dead, how much closer and intimate can you become with a God than to kill him and expand your learnings by becoming more intimate with him and closer to him in death, on another dimension and plane of existence lashtal is so aware of. Many mind doors opens for lashtal - lashtal knows that death is not an end, just another overlapping dimension of existence, so killing of a God wasn’t an act of simpleminded negative emotions, rather a chance to feed his head and to allow Mur to expand his own learnings by this new experience for him - everything that happens can be percieved as a will of a Mur, as himself being the God. He knitted the destinies of many souls long before, and so the one of lashtal also. He was aware of his overthrow and material demise by lashtal, so it was written in his destiny. Everything is Mur’s plan on a wider view and scale, so maybe he wanted to expand his knowledge by experience death and it’s secrets, to come out of it even smarter and knowledgable by experiencing it from first hand, 'cause he's maybe planning to destroy all the Realm - interesting patterns emerge, one of a Greek mythology about Kronos and Zeus, and fathers and sons after them. Could Mur be lashtal’s father, allowing him the necessary will, knowledge and power to kill a God? And lashtals action of killing are act of love and understanding towards his father and enormous will and desire for achieving greater knowledge, so that with this mutual knowledge where father and son exchange rolls, a great eternal realm change commences Edited August 31, 2014 by Gljivoje
Intrigue Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 Lash killed mur because he is the keeper of the dead (it'd bind mur's soul to him) Lash killed mur because he was supposed to (destiny type thing) lash killed mur because it needed to be done. Lash killed mur so mur could be revived/renewed/reborn

Your points reflect deep affinity in our ways of thinking. I feel we're on the same wavelength when speaking of concepts such as god, death, layers of existence... However, careful not to confuse RL and MD! :P Luckily, I didn't murder God in RL (whatever this may mean or imply), I did it in MD. Easier, cheaper, safer, shallower. Also, Mur is certainly smart, he's the creator of our realm and of a wider psycho-geography... but -according to him also- he's not omniscient. ;) Although at least 2 reasons of yours are on the right track, I'm afraid I can't give you any full-point yet. Lash killed mur because he is the keeper of the dead (it'd bind mur's soul to him) Lash killed mur because he was supposed to (destiny type thing) lash killed mur because it needed to be done. Lash killed mur so mur could be revived/renewed/reborn One is correct. That makes one point.
Intrigue Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Lash killed mur because... I only get one point at a time! (joking, definitely don't mean this as a reason, although, that would be an odd reason for sure) Lash killed mur because... Lash had to neutralize Mur's god-ness Lash killed mur because... it needed done Lash killed mur because... there was something to be learned from it Lash killed mur because... it would bring peace to (either lash or Mur)
Eagle Eye Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Lasthal killed mur because he idolized mur Lasthal killed mur because of his anger Lasthal killed mur because of his flesh lasthal can't control it. Lasthal killed mur because of the temptation.

Ary Endleg Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Lashtal killed mur because dead people are easy to locate, and he wanted to be able to locate mur. You know that you need to locate person first and be in same spot in order to kill said person? :p :))
Eagle Eye Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Lasthal killed mur because of his bad dream Lasthal killed mur because of his land Lasthal killed mur because lasthal need to creat a ritual to honor of his land

To avoid misunderstandings, and since many of you figured this one out already, I'm going to give out a little hint. There's only 1 reason associated to my forum signature, the other 4 are unrelated. 3 were almost found by Azkhael, a singing cat was close enough to the 4th... But nobody got close to the 5th as of yet. Still plenty of time though!

Rophs Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 Not entirely surprising when there has been 8 pages of this spam. It reminds me of Yoshi's bubblewrap quest. On the bright side you can post crappy one word posts and have your postcount increase with little to no effort without anybody giving a damn. Chewett and lashtal 2
