death ray Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Now we have a short window of time to bring justice to the Elf. While we have one dead in the graveyard and myself alive there. We have both bounds guarded against escape. Preparations are being made in the graveyard. At the time being the Death gaurd his murdered Fang and thus lays in resting from the kill, granting us a short window to tactfully bring Ledah to the empty open grave. A soul from the living and from death are currently gathered in Preparations for the arrival of the coming sacrifice. It is wished to be a respectful and honoring sacrifice. A time of remembrance of life that will echo on throughout the coming decades. It is wished that all in the community join, please if you wish, prepare a short speech and any gifts you wish the parting member to live beyond life with be brought to the tomb where they will be prepared as blessed offerings. Aia del Mana Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 May I first request that Ledah aid in communication with the Elf at the Archives? I will need to deliver the Open Letter, and perhaps Ledah may be more... convincing than I in this matter. death ray 1 Quote
death ray Posted January 4 Author Report Posted January 4 We will absolutely honor your request. However, preparations will continue to be made in the graveyard and tomb if things go arry. If you will, Please prepare the arrangements for the community gathering. Quote
MaGoHi Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 why sacrifice ledah then? sacrifice: "to give up something that is valuable to you in order to help another person" https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/sacrifice Quote
Miq Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 Sacrifice is an interesting word but a slight murder of ledah is long overdue death ray 1 Quote
Sunfire Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 I would advise against killing ledah. It is not the message we want to bring to Santa. We are all cold monsters that rule by the principle of an eye for an eye. Now you could force ledah to do certain things in hope of appeasing Santa but would you do your best if your hands are tied? Our hope lies in convincing ledah that helping clean up the mess he made is in his advantage. Quote
chriselnenepr Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 I'm against sacrificing Ledah. While his intentions for murdering the Elf may be dubious, there must be something else to it. We know that there is an Elf in the archives who loves handing out random cards. What if all it takes for the Elf to help us get our presents, we only need to draw the correct cards? Quote
Aia del Mana Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Although recent events are separate, in light of them, I must now think that it would be very much in poor taste to resolve this with death. Fyrd would certainly have wanted otherwise. death ray 1 Quote
