18 hours ago18 hr comment_206598 With the changes to the armour system and minting, there is now a rather interesting requirement when it comes to creating equipment. Before any equipment can be made, 80 Bark is required to produce Paper, using the Bark Press found at Ravenhold. With all of these new uses for Bark, the demand for the resource has naturally increased. As more systems begin relying on it, the current amount that can be harvested starts to feel a little low in comparison to how much the resource is now being asked to provide. One possible way to address this could be to introduce something similar to the Storm system that increases the amount of Water available. Perhaps a Bloom spell could temporarily increase the amount of plant-based resources that can be harvested. The spell could require a special fertilizer, produced from Grasan sacrifices, giving the sacrifice system another meaningful use while tying it directly into the growth of the forest. It would also fit rather nicely with Loreroot thematically. The forest is being fed, and in return it produces more. Rather than simply increasing Bark's base availability, this would create another way for players to actively influence the resources the forest provides. This could potentially apply not only to Bark, but to other plant-based resources as well, depending on how the system is balanced. The largest memory stone stack I can find is 20. With my stat that is 2 gatherings. I recomend we either make an easily obtained resource that can regenerate or raise the cap on resources, or simply raise everything to 1000 like the hardwood lumber in willows shop. I've never understood faux scarcity. I understand supply and demand, and this is not sustainable as is. Report
