The Cartographer's Cipher

⚜ The Cartographer's Cipher: A Daily Challenge from the Maker's Circle ⚜

Travelers of the realm,

A sealed mark now waits at the Ash Arch in Loreroot. Every day the Cartographer seals a new word in the Cipher. You'll have to find from a riddle. On rest days (Saturday and Sunday) the seal is doubled.

How it works

  • Read the hint, study the sealed mark, and spell your guess on the brass keyboard.

  • You get 6 marks a day. Green means the right letter in the right place, gold means the right letter in the wrong place, and grey means the letter isn't in the word.

  • Crack it and you get a proof code that's unique to you and to that day.

The challenge Post your name, day number and proof code in this topic each time you solve a cipher.

  • The first traveler to post a valid code each day earns a prize.

  • A secret prize waits for anyone who gathers the first letters the Cartographer reveals and works out what they spell.

Codes are checked against the seal, so borrowed codes won't pass. No sharing answers in this topic. Let others struggle as you did.

May your maps be true and your marks few.
