So, do you have an item you wish to be crafted? Then you have come to the right place. So, how actually do you request items you ask? Here's a little guide to the steps you'll need to do to have an item created. 1. Get a wishpoint If you remember, when we first entered this realm, we didn't even have a physical body. I'm recently engaged in the study of herbalism and herbology. I'm gathering information on all the herbs that I could find on the main land and storing them in a Book of dried herbs. The main purpose of my studies is to create tinctures, remedies and panaceas. To advance in my studies my first objective is to create a weak panacea, which restores some of the vitality of who consumes it. I formulated a recipe for an experiment that follows. First, in a pot or a container, macerate a good amount of herbs with rainwater and wait until it forms a base substance. Then heat this substance until it boils. I am posting this here because i would like the end result to be in-game items such as the ones the Crafters would be able to make. The topic has little to do with Loreroot (aside from the fact i'm forced to stay there for the moment). What I'd like to do: create items that have magical properties at first glance, but it's only peculiar scientific effects. I'm sure I'm not the first one with this idea, I'm simply adding myself on the list. How I'd like to do it: get a small team of 2-3 people and discuss an idea until we get a fully detailed project, with theory and maybe even models. This is after an email we received from Phantom Orchid asking us to disband it since apparently it has been below the required number of members for some months. Not many are aware, but I am a member of the Crafters. However, I do have my limitations as a Crafter, that is, I mainly craft items of divination with non-human made raw materials. Well, quite a few item requests has been made to the Crafters, and raw materials were requested to make the said items. In roleplay context, these items were consumed to make the items, and what is left from them is just bits and leftover pieces. These items are stored in the Material Vault, and after a while, they will be redistributed to the realm (via methods to be discussed on another topic to be opened soon). The following is a list of the current members of the Crafters guild: .Udgard. Scientist and Golem Elementalist. I also make sculptures and figurines out of wood, stone, and animal parts. .Kragel. Metal Mage. Makes items from metal. SubZeroo Icy Blacksmith. Forges armors and weapons using ice instead of fire. Phantom Orchid Inactive: Ivorak Crafts items made from cloth and other garments. There are other woods that I have run across in my research and growing. Oak Log - Found in Loreroot, Tribunal, Marind Bell, and MDA While not as resistant as the White Oak, the Oak tree is sturdy and fungal resistant wood, good for buildings and any wooden object. Maple Plank - Found primarily in Loreroot, though there are accounts of few loners in Marind Bell. The Maple is primarily used for the making of instruments due to its natural resonance, though it is often used in decoration and furniture making. The Crafters, formerly known as the Creators, is a guild of people whose role involves creation of various items. We provide service to the realm by crafting items for their inventory. As the process of creating an item is not an easy task, we are banding together in this guild to share our expertise in creating various different items, and provide the community with a clear place to go to have an item made.
