To those whom this may concern:

For those who were told there was another vet medal ceremony, it DID NOT happen today, to my knowledge. As far as I know Mur DID intend to have a ceremony, and was planning on putting an announcement up regarding it. However, due to computer complications and other things, he was unable to state it.

I have yet to get it confirmed from him if he still wishes to hold an extra ceremony. This could take some time. If it does not happen, I apologize, but if you decide to take your anger out on me, you should know you have no one to blame but yourself.

I will do my best to keep you all updated. Keep an eye on the announcements in case it gets written before stated on the forum.

Mur has stated that there will be no ceremony, but instead will give you your medals when he sees you. But please do not bug him about it.

You're not even on the active veterans list, have a normal veterans medal, or have a gold veterans medal?

The AV list is hardly definitive. Espically since you only need a year and some realm presence to get one Awiiya. Dragonrider has every chance to get one depending on what Mur believes.

Not exactly. Awiiya got his from the fossil contest, though I believe he'd have his chance assuming all the older IDs wouldn't barge in- in fact, I'm pretty sure a lot of them would take up some spots.

Edit: And as Mur stated, gold vet is a MUST.

I am not going to bug anyone...but just curious to know whether I would get the vet medal this year, I couldnt reach the ceremony due to some network problems :-(.

ONLY the players present at the ceremony got the medal. If you were not there you did not get it, nor will you get one until next year at MD B-day.
