1. it'd reduce confusion keeping it to a single thread i think, but it's your decision
2. I would reccomend that you change that, at least for when they mark them. I believe it was a requirement for the first contest, though appears to have been missed off this list.
3. @Kyphis, not all proposed achievements have been implemented yet. You can see the ones that have been implemented at GGG - the orb in the center, and in the Tribunals - Statue Bust
4. "Loreroot since its existence has remained neutral but I believe now that it is important to earthier side with Necrovion or Golemus during their war" What war? There's none going on currently. The previous one ended just under a fortnight ago.
5. I kind of prefer the idea of it being offered rather than my asking, but sure. Can you (and i'll edit into my first post asking others to as well) send me a for argument, and also an against argument on a single topic of your choice (doesnt have to be very long, just to show you can argue a point), whatever method you find that's easiest to send it to me.
6. In which case, I will ensure a log is kept
7. it'd be a teaching system, it wouldn't just be a one-off lecture
8. Right, well reading through both the voting for the Necrovion king/queen elections, and that of the king of golemus, it has come to my attention that the majority of players cannot structure arguments or debates, either that or you dont know how to find appropriate things to argue about. So I have decided to (try and) teach those willing to learn. I will not be telling someone how to vote or which way to argue, and so to avoid any complaints of such, I will use random real life examples for the issues to argue in favour and against about. I want to first see how many people are interested in me helping them with this, hence the poll, and those interested, would they also post here. Voting, and then not telling me that you want to learn doesnt really make much sense. Anyone willing to help me teach is welcome to offer their services, keep it short and sweet though please As a note to those offering services, i will need to actually check you can argue well before setting you loose on other people LE: Err, before anyone makes a comment about it, no this is not me objecting to ANY vote results, i just want to improve the calibre in the future. LE 2: Also, clarification, no, i don't want spam posts on this thread, people who want the help, want to help, or have a well thought reason why they think it's not needed, feel free to post, otherwise, please don't. Just....this is a genuine thread, I don't want spam on it. LE 3: If you are wanting to offer services to help teach people, can you send me a for argument, and also an against argument on a single topic of your choice (doesnt have to be very long, just to show you can argue a point), whatever method you find that's easiest to send it to me.
9. [s]Mur, download link not there [/s] EDIT:YAY, reading!! EDIT2: since i was one of the people asking to see the votes, just wanted to point out, i want to see them cos i like to read the comments, not cos i don't trust you.[s] [/s]
10. @Gg, what now? i'm guessing it's intentional (which doesnt help me to agree with you) that you were incoherent in that post? If they think there are no rules in the realm, when there are (and they break them), you want them to NOT be punished?!? If you want a serious talk/debate/whatever about this then post in a serious mannor, otherwise i will ignore your posts.
11. A note; do NOT spam this topic, this is a serious topic. (aimed at a couple of posts i removed) @Gg, I can visit them, yeah, i do sometimes as well, not often though. I understand the general feeling, but no, as i have never broken the rules to such an extent that would require a ban on other sites or games, i do not ~know~ how people feel when banned. I agree that the punishments are too kind, but i have (undue) faith in people, so give them plenty of chances. The player is unable to rightfully complain after getting banned from the system I have laid out here. You are asking that people who have been warned and punished that many times and failed to realise the error and stop doing it, after being told what would happen to them if they continue, should have a public court so that they might be let off the hook?
12. All offences are dated on the player, and I (because it'd generally be me enforcing this) would use my best judgement on it, as i would anyway. But yes, after "enough" time has passed, they will count less, entirely subjective though.
13. Me and Buns were talking (that's always a good way to start something ) Basicly, could there be a panel for the leader of the alliance to change the auto message that gets said to a player when you invite someone, like currently it's "You are invited to join our Alliance" for all alliance invites, yeah you can change this each time, but it'd be easier, rather than do that every time, to save the auto message to something. Thoughts? NB: the message Buns suggested was "Welcome to our dysfunctional family, consisting of Emperor Bunnies, illusionary frogs and all sorts of consorted freaks" EDIT: Serious idea that i genuinely want, but as a side note, i'd find it hilarious if Mur just changed gg's preset to that
14. whoever is ''managing'' the bookshelves currently, can they please contact me, i have some suggestions. If nobody is, then i'd still like to speak to whoever did the things to do with the elements, and the other off site things. Thanks
15. so i can close this?
16. By any chance were you one of the four mentioned here?
[2009-10-12 17:07:50 - Alpha 9] 4 players that abused the bbgsite bonus codes system got the equivalent credits removed from their accounts. A negative credit amount will substract from future credits. Not using the codes, or using them on alts, or giving them to others its not an excuse. Except the credit removal, no other penalty or negative log entry was given to the involved players because the issue did not happen within MD but on an other site and becaues of their system. New bonus codes will be available there again.
17. Not sure if this applies to anyone, but would it be possible to have dual citizenship? It can happen irl, not sure how it would in MD, but wondered if it was possible?
18. @Shardon, Peace has already put forward to become King/Queen of Necrovion
19. i should think it would be easy enough to do MD already has various e-mail accounts, you'd just have to set it up to send to a designated e-mail address (from the MD one), which would probably be the one associated with your account, wouldnt imagine it would be difficult. Of course at the same time, it'd probably be a good idea to give the option of changing the associated e-mail.
20. It's Grapefruit's birthday Have an AWESOME day just don't be too sad it's the last year of your 20's
21. I would also like to remind people as to the Dark Ages, where the kings were tyrants and their subjects mostly all hated them, so the swearing fealty or whatever to the king of the land shlouldnt happen either. I am, all in all, against the idea of telling people to suggest a king, if anything there should be two votes, one for if the land should have a king, the second being for who the king should be, and only the votes from the members of that land should count. But still, emerging over time i would think would be the better option.
22.
The powers of such a ruler should be absolute over the people of his land. Therefor i will implement a citizenship system and players will be marked as beinng part of a land or an other, obeying the rules of that land and accepting the king, or queen, as the one person (except me ) to have decision power over their destiny.
I disagree here, at least in part, whilst exiled (i havent been told otherwise, so presume i still am) I would still consider myself as being of Golemus, and so would the other people (i presume) that voted against him as king that listed their land as Golemus. Though from the direction of their vote, they are clearly against him as king, are they to then give up their belonging to their land because they dont agree with the king? I would say they shouldn't but by this system they would have to.
direction the land will go in diplomatic situations with other lands, etc.
This would indicate that a king can order the alliances to do stuff...which in the roman empire anyway, well....that went horribly for the emperor, who died pretty quick when he tried to order his military to do something they didnt want to do. just my two pennies
23. there was already a restriction of 50 days
24. In charge of Diplomacy (plus) Any inter-alliance stuff speak to me please. Unlinke Bunny, you can call me anything you want to, i just might not respond to some names Those that might want to contact me for diplomacy know the things i deal with, so i dont think i need to outline that here. I would also be treasurer, handling the money to pay the military sector. Come to me if you have any particular issues as well.

The issue was not the how long before she was warned, but how long Yrth had given her to perform the task.
