1.
No, I'm afraid I'm not a real animecan. I haven't seen anime in over six months...

    It's not hard, just there's a lot of things to do. Speaking of which, I really should get to writing that case, lol....Seeee? This is why I have to go away periodically. I love talking to you guys way too much. T.T

    But I must say, I'm stealing that chocolate vault. >D

    Sakiii.....I cahn't. T.T I end up talking about random things like chocolate vaults and animecans instead of homework...
See? That's your curse for being a debate kid instead of a speech kid. Hehehe...new case every month too. Come join interp. :P

    @Buns: Stop it...you're making me jealous! D=

  2.
I'm just trying to work this out in my Head how its possible.

    I see like a few hundred online at once, is there like multiple servers?

    My friend created a browser based web game that is no charge it all, and I think its pretty good, and I would guess its at around 6,000 or 7,000 unique accounts (not counting people who play 5 characters from the same IP), and there are typically between 250-500 people online at any given time.

    I would think if MD had 100,000 people that there would be hundreds at most locations and thousands at place like the wind sanctuary. Am I missing something?
Not all 100k of them are online at once. Unfortunately, there are a good number of accounts that aren't active anymore, but they're still sitting around. Don't spoil the fun. :D

  3. By a stroke of luck, I managed to find some poor soul who gave me 80 honor last night...and I beat the living daylights out of him for a measly 80 honor. If you're the dude, I'm sorry! I promise, I'm not a mean, horrible person. *offers cookies as compensation* ><;

    But yeah, this really has turned into a peachy little predicament for some of us. I don't mind keeping the balance since I need the bonus exp I get from it (and because I don't really have a choice in the matter). I usually don't attack people, so the honor bit isn't hitting me as hard as it is for some. Apparently, I don't lose honor for losing fights if I was attacked. That's the way I've been getting my training lately: standing in front of Willow's Shop and let other people be on the offensive. But I can see this will be come a big problem later on. >>;

  4. Congrats to MD for being so awesome! =D

    Hehehe...I still remember that Bunny was surprised to see my ID (35677), something about not knowing that there were that many accounts already.

    I really can't call myself a veteran either, but it certainly feels weird that I've experienced a lot from the earlier stages of MD. *gets the urge to tell "When I was a MP3..." stories* xDD

    @Ren: lol..."Mini-Wodin" xD

  5.
... :D

    Well, how can that be considered legitimate if there aren't official regulations concerning it? I bet Ledah didn't even know it would get him banned, and after all it is a public spell that seems to come with no attachments.

    On a side note, I've heard little horror stories about people getting banned for minuscule reasons, not any listed under prohibition (like arguing about interpretation of game rules). I had to ask to make sure about this. Are we supposed to just assume what's okay and not, and get banned one day for not assuming correctly? You can't expect players to just know what's right and wrong when everyone has different perspectives--you have to explicitly regulate. Isn't it stupid otherwise?
I believe that repeatedly silencing people qualifies as spamming, which is a bannable offense. And there's this rule from the Rules and Restriction tab on the top of the in-game screen:
Any repeated complain from multiple unique users will get some kind of unwanted action on you, try not to offend people, or to cause a mess in general.
If anyone was banned for using the Silence command, it is because they used it repeatedly without reason on multiple users. If enough people make a complaint about it, there will be consequences.

    What are these horror stories you speak of? I haven't heard any of them...

  6. Hehehe...I learned drawing from excessive exposure to anime and manga, so proportions meant very little to me. xD

    But all that proportion stuff is very helpful. Probably more effective than me staring at passerby when I draw. I'll need some time to maul it over and make some sense of it, though. >>;

  7. Glad to hear that you're safe and sound, Logan. I'm sorry about your house and all the havoc Ike wrecked. We have power line and tree problems even way up north where I live, so I can only imagine the damage down south. ><

    I hope everything will turn out okay, and I really am thankful that nothing irreplaceable was lost.
    Keep us posted. =O

  8. Awesome as ever, Garg. xD

    And yeah, I think are you one of the more frequent contributors to my quote list. :P

    Speaking of which...:

    You know you've been on MD too much when...

    - your collection of funny MD quotes is 5 pages long on Microsoft Word. And it's still growing...

    - you think of a dead person's room as a perfectly normal place to hang out in.

    - you expect to see matress racing in any party worth going to.

  9. Words simply cannot be enough to describe our thanks to you, Manu. The world of MagicDuel is absolutely amazing. I love the way that everything is connected. Nothing is there just because; there's a reason behind why everything is the way it is. And the community is the most supportive one that I've ever encountered. Nobody yelled at me to go away when I needed help as a newbie. :)

    When I first stumbled upon MD by a Google search for browser games, I proposed an unofficial challenge. I saw that little warning tag on the homepage about how MD would be an addictive game. I remember reading that and thinking, "Ha! Watch me quit." But after just a week in...I was addicted...>>

    So...yeah. You win. :unsure:;

  10. Oh wow...I think you win, Penelope. xD

    *still can't stop laughing*

    You know you've been on MD too much when...You start replacing words with player names. Like this:

    Wodin - (adj) 1. strong; 2. scary

    dst - (verb) 1. to pwn; (adj) 2. pwn

    Morrel - (verb) 1. to heal; (noun) 2. the act of healing someone or something

    So all together, you get:

    "Dude!!! This totally Wodin guy just dst'd me! I'm gonna need to Morrel."

  11. *laughes her head off at these*

    And I concur with Braiton. That one Rex wrote is definitely one of the best. xD

    @Glai: Yeah, I was about to say, "...Glai, you're being a bit of a hypocrite, aren't you? I think you should stop soon. Otherwise, it's off to the 8th Level, Round 6 of Hell for you, and it's not a pretty place....or so Dante says..."

    And the other book is Paradise Lost. To my eternal glory, I managed to read most of it in one sitting. Took 10+ hours, but I did it. ^^

    And I can't possible atone by reading it. I got so frustrated in the middle that I start spouting blasphemous things at it. Now I'm gonna be condemned to Level 7, Round 3 of Hell. *is studying too hard for the Inferno test* ><;

    Oh, and I beat you to that calling self by game name thing. I used to be called Sakura. Then Minory shorten it to Saki, which is what my friends refer to me now. But 'cause you guys all started calling me Yami, that's what I call myself now. ><;

    @Chewett: No worries. We've got the MDAA. MagicDuel Addicts Annonymous. :)

    You know you've been on MD too much when...

    -...You see a little rabbit on your way to school in the morning and proceed to drop all your books inorder to worship it.

    -...You bought lottery tickets because your Luck Skill had increased.

  12. I just realized that this thing got pinned....lol

    I'm awesome. xD *Bunny brainwashing kicks in*

    @Glai: You have my sympathy. Poor Glai. =(

    Well, in my defense, I finished my homework for psychology, calculus, and French class. And I finished reading The Inferno. Hehehe...Yami be more productive than Glai. :P

    More contributions to the list:

    - You start associating any and all Dark Lords with Khal. (With one exception. For some reason, I've always invisioned that he looks like Virgil...only...with more evilness now...*been reading The Inferno a little too much*)

    - You want to call the ASPCA to report a case of Drachorn abuse. (Braiton...D< )

    - You find yourself quoting the gossip texts even when offline.

  13. Yamisaru... thou art Saki-bum hithermore.

    For what purpose doth Minory serve if not to constantly nag thee to do thy massive load of work as Lu nagged me to finish my summer homework? She neglecteth her work and duty!

    Marry! I can do what Minory would hath done proper for thy sake! Thou errant, clay-brained mammet! Thou hast thy duty to do thy work, and work as thy duty!

    O' thy dark, unlucky days to come! if thou continuest to ignore thy work and duty. Nay, it is my very obligation! to keep thou from thy foul fate as a bumbling bum even by posting such posts in such a topic as this. Thy immoral lack of guilt, thy initiative to create a topic of such a nature, harketh to me!

    So, for thy sake, be inspired by my words, for thrice do I now remind you: THOU HAST THY DUTY TO DO THY WORK, AND WORK AS THY DUTY!

    ...I had to reread this three times to figure out what you're saying. ><

    Don't use Elizabethan English on me now. I haven't gotten around to reading Hamlet yet. >>
