2.
Ok let me get this clear. The issue is that people who are non land associated are upset they don't get WP's as easy as someone who is. This is what seems to be the basic moan on the whole matter from what i read that is. Well let me see. From RL and non RL this is going to happen. I cant go to England and demand the payed there social welfare because i am there and have not got a job. I have to wait 6 months before that may happens as this shows to them i intend to stay in the country. Technically this means i am becoming a member of there land. (note this is just an example) So applying that logic to in game there is no difference. It is though luck. you CHOOSE to be non allained to a land that is a choice you made. Now so far i have not been asked by a non land member to sponsor there quest. I have a very open policy on the matter for those that are non members. So to me i don't think you have a valid argument in this. Unless you can prove the no king would back a quest. Now in saying that i do have an idea that might work but will talk with the kings first before i say anything here. There are many minor issues you all have with the use of the WP's kings have. Some can be validated for there use some may need explaining more but that is up to each king to decide if he.she should have to. As we are kings and there is only one person that can ask us to validate a choice we made in regard to the WP's.
As far as I see it, the reason this post was started, was to ask why quests were restricted to lands. Shadow was pointing out that people are starting to make quests and only allow the people from their lands to participate. That others who enjoy questing, but aren't a part of that land, can't have a try at it. Something I think is not right. That, however, is for the quest maker to decide. Almost all quests have a restriction of some sort or another. What it seems to have become off topic twards, is the distribution of WPs. The bias in wich kings hand out WP codes, and the trouble that those affiliated with lands from non king lands trouble in acquiring WP codes. If you aren't affiliated with any land it's easy enough to be. The more important issue is the fact that those who lead, or are dedicated to alliances that aren't in a king/queen land don't have access to WP codes. There are several out there like this who create wonderful quests, but have not lately due to they have nothing to offer other people. Before we go any further on this, as most people know I myself am about to start a rather large quest, as a result of a rather long progression. Being the leader of the CT's in the Tribunal proved an issue for a while. As another topic states, those with said problem should seek out Kings/Queens and barter with them for WP codes to use. Through much difficulty and much conversation I was able to acquire a few WPs off different Kings in order to make this quest a realization. I think in a way it's a good thing because they make sure the quest, in their eyes, is worthy of handing out WPs. I honestly think that all WP code hand outs should be as thoroughly checked as mine was, then perhaps the WP hand out bashing won't become any more of an issue then some people have already made it.
3. what exactly do you mean? Have you read the magic archives part of them? I think he did a fairly good job simplifying it in there. I can also help to an extent in a in-game fashion.
4. my offer still stands. I got in contact with the Crafting Guild and my item was an acceptable product to be produced. The other materials are gathered, I am only still searching for the metal product. As I Said before, you have nothing to gain from this endeavor, besides having the ability to help create an iconic item for an alliance.

6. I agree they shouldn't be handed out all Willy Nilly like. I handed out ONE WP, for what I feel, is a good reason. Also keep in mind the scoring of WPs. If every WP is handed out for the hardest quests you can come up with, then why is there even a rating scale? It's there to mark the ease, effort of the WP earned. I gave that WP a very low rating as all she had to do to earn it was partake in Aelis Secret Reigndrach. To me really thats not much different then a quest, i'll be it an easy one. It was a preplanned, organized event, meant for fun for all. Are WPs never handed out at festival times for fun, and easy little games? I honestly don't know because often times I am not available when the festivals are taking place (during hours i work etc). Any of you remember waking up to Christmas morning, and your parents getting you exactly what you wanted? A Wish Come True. I feel no less as guilty then they would. I make no apologies for the WP being handed out, but do see that many disagree with it, and the likely hood of me ever handing out anything for Christmas again besides some coin is very slim.
7. i stand in defense of mine. I indeed gave a WP for a non quest reason to McVitie. Aelis did a wonderful thing with the secret reigndrach drawing. Unfortunately many people did not participate. So as a push for it, along with what I thought a wonderful gift, I gave her the WP. I was given a very wonderful present myself from Mur on Christmas, so I consider this no less a good gesture, to someone i really often can't stand in rp form. Not only is it the ONLY WP not given for quests I create, but I would do it again in the spirit of the festival of Christmas, one of the most powerful and grand times of the year for many of us.
8. well said mike. Tara has been a valuable asset to our MD community. She is one of the very few people I have ever seen effectively play a demon sub-type. She is also very sweet to most everyone in need, and most who aren't.
9. what about RP and progression quests? A lot of those don't involve clickies as much as people. The main issue is that people who don't belong to lands can't get WP codes to hand out for their quests. It leaves them begging for WP codes off of Kings/Queens, or bartering favors and such for them. I think that's why the growth of Land Only Quests have come up. People are given WP codes by Kings/Queens and then are asked to try and make them most productive for their own citizens. There is not outside perspective so to speak. My opinion anyway.
10. Topic says it all, forum pms, or posts only please.
11. i see alot of complaints. I see alot of reprisals to the complaints. What I don't see alot of is people saying why they still play MD if it's so "boring" I love MD. I have been a major MMORPG player for longer then some of you have been alive. I still log on every day, and i still find enjoyment in the game every day. You know wich is I care least about in the game is fighting. To me the interaction between people is the most important thing that keeps me coming back each day, followed by peoples constant continuation of their story lines. Festivals are 3rd with GOOD quests as a close 4th. Then creature collection, trading, and somewhere down twards the bottom of the list fighting. If I ever found MD as boring as some of you seem to feel, I'd quit the game. Since after all the game is about FUN.
12. happy birthday ailith!!!

I will not only help keep reports on violators, but do my own part to demolish those who are bannned/frequent violators rituals when they come to the GGG. There are those who only do such because they get away with it, when they themselves are assualted en mass, most of the time they will leave. Behind the GGG 110%
