It took me a looong time to decide weather or not this thread deserves an answer. It doesn't but on the other hand maybe it's time to clear some things and enlighten you a bit once and for all.

Let's start with a bit of history: Shattered was created for me. I didn't "work/plan/etc" to have it. To me it was "perfectly perpendicular" (as we say in RO aka it didn't matter) if I had an ally or not. My goals were different by the time I got SI. So, because Si was created for me I became Role Leader. I guess you all know what that means. If not then maybe you should check the announcements (hint: look for DS and simplyzero). --fail no 1 for former CoE members

SI is a bug testers/game mechanics alliance. I know things that few know and I dare to say I am very good at doing my job. You underestimated my intelligence and my potential. --fail no 2 for former CoE members

You are willing to trade SI for CoE. And you were "kind" enough to give me a hint on how to achieve that. The answer to this needs to be elaborated a bit.
First: you underestimated my friendship and loyalty. I would have NEVER EVER asked Eon to give SoS back to pipstickz so I can get SI back and you can trade for CoE. I would have simply moved to SoS and waited for your next move about SI. When I would have gotten bored by SoS see my first paragraph and you will understand what I would have done.
Second: I would never ever help Loreroot even if that means that I will lose some things especially if it comes in the form of a blackmail. NEVER EVER try to blackmail me because it will never work. NEVER EVER try to squeeze my hand like that. --fail no. 3 for former CoE members

I showed you what I am made of. I am not a whiner and a beggar. I took the matter into my own hands and ALONE I handled it (ok, not completely alone since Eon morally supported me all the way and I have to thank him for that). I got my ally back through my own powers. I didn't make forum posts complaining about the issue. I never came to any of you asking/demanding/begging for my ally back.
And with all the above, you all screamed bug abuse and other **** like that. You should be ashamed. You're like the young dog that barks at the passing cars showing how brave it is but when it gets hit by one it starts crying.

If you were noble and moral as you pretend, instead of whining and screaming and probably go to Mur/Council (to report me that I used bugs) you could have simply talked to me and asked me. You preferred to go to 3rd sources. I was the most reliable sources but I guess you are not brave enough to face me. Strength and Honor? I say BS. You have no idea what strength and honor are. You're weak and you are cowards. So don't come to be telling you know more about it then I do.

Well, two (per day) were used, it seems.
That being said, I figure, with any tools, abuse is possible, but why not give someone the benefit of the doubt. If Fyrd gave him a jar willingly, we don't need to concern ourselves too harshly with why or how it is used. It was Fyrd's tool to share. Fang now has it.
Tools are meant to be used.
If they are abused, then act upon that and deal out harsh punishments.

That also being said: Fang, sometimes silence is stronger than words, which seem to tend to get you tripped up when any flaw is found.

We can just continue to spam this topic, right? And then, when it's over, we will do so until the next Murday

I would like to see him learn from these mistakes, or at least admit to them.
Whether these two cases are mistakes or not can only be effectively judged by those who can see the entire picture. But the picture is cut like a jigsaw puzzle, and different people have different pieces - and clearly somewhere along the line communication broke down and judgments were made and expressed (or not), even though I seriously doubt there is any one person who doesn't have a puzzle piece (or seven) missing from their picture of these two situations. So in order for us to see the big picture, we must first take inventory of what we have, and then use our words to work together with others to fit the pieces together. And, as important, we should also be trying to figure out which pieces are missing and how those missing pieces might be influencing the whole.

It does seem to me that the general conversation has shifted, and it seems perhaps that the vindictiveness is being replaced by a willingness to have an open dialogue, to flesh out one another's desires and needs to make MD as functional as possible. And the realm is not a democracy, as we all know, but hierarchical in structure. The issue of accountability for players who hold power is a difficult conversation to have because of inherit power inequities and a seemingly fluid structure which does apparently mold and adapt to new situations and/or players and the roles they play. A good example of this dynamic could be seen in how the rules are made and shaped by Mur, as the game continuously evolves.

There's no exact blueprint (or if there is I presume only Mur knows it ) here, but a community of players who each have a powerful tool at their disposal, and that is the use of their words. It is -really- difficult in real life, at least in my culture, for most to set aside their judgments and prejudices to effectively listen, really listen, and try to understand what the other person is saying. Because first you must listen not just to hear words, but try to understanding where there are coming from and what led them to make the choices that they did.

We all know that Grido has a rich history of making himself available to others in the realm and working to fulfill his role in it. As was mentioned earlier, much of this work has been transparent, behind the scenes, and has probably gone mostly unrewarded by others.

With that said, I would like to thank him for his continual help he has offered to me, currently, despite the adverse situation that wedged itself between us (and for my part in creating that, I accept responsibility for). My ego is not thin enough to judge him for how he acted 'against me,' and I am confident that he will continue his unwavering stance of doing what he thinks is best for MD, despite how it may shift what others may think of him.

The only thing I can ask of him, or anyone really, is to act with compassion both in-game and out.

i do intend to clean it up and make an original representation, to avoid unwanted connections.

that's all I wanted to hear, and as for the rest, a symbol is a symbol, you're right, but to have lost friends and family members to Israelite bombing, and to be forced to pick yourself up and go from place to place just because there is a probability that it would be bombed... it kinda makes me dread that symbol more than anything. I hate them, no offense meant or anything, but they took away those I lose, they took away those that loved me, they took away those who shared laughs with me, those who at one point made me happy when I was sad, and for what? to expand? well I just hope they'd expand into the sea and disappear...

Also, I'd like to mention a day Lebanon would remember : the day when a children's cancer center was bombed by Israel, those children who had hopes of surviving despite their illness, those that had faith, were killed. What's more, on the bomb, there were pictures drawn by children, Israel's children (real children) showing how Israel is better than us, showing how they would be kings and we they're slaves, it was a message from the young to the young, believe me if you want, don't if you don't, but I know what happened, and I'll be sticking to my opinions.

This sikness of humanity to blame symbols for their actions is something i have no intention of dragging into MD virtual world. Avoiding the use of certain symbols because certain people understand them wrong, means perpetuating this sikness and further hiding and tainting the true meaning of things. As i hope you do realise by now, md has nothing to do with jews, arabs, nazis, christians, you name them, so that symbol in THIS context has nothing to do with any bombing or personal grudges whatsoever. You might find it disrespectful, and it would be, if it was outside MD borders, but its not. I respect symbols, its the only way to understand their meaning without freaking out and getting confused of fake meanings. Otherwise people think the pentagram is the sign of the devil, and such stupid things.

I have no intention of 'educating' anyone regarding symbols, but dont consider it disrespectful that i dont bow to their ignorance and perpetuate it. Should jewish people freak out same out that the symbol on my book is basically the same in nature with the half moon? Want to hear a symbolic offence? check this out:

yet , taken outside any cultural context, it has an other (strange) meaning.

there is a difference between being blind and chosing to close your eyes. If you truly hate something, whatever it is, learn about it better that that thing knows about itself first. Maybe like that you will realise how pointless most grudges are.

I'm talking about this one :

it represents the Jews, and their's so-called Israel, no offense to it and them, but in my country, and all arab countries, they are not a state, they are a so-called one (we call it maz3ooma, as in they say it is, but they're bluffing) and as much as I would rather not contradict anyone about whether it is good or not (everyone has his opinions, and I don't have anything against Jews, it's those that did what they did in all those wars that I have a grudge against).

Back to my main point, almost all Arabic countries BLOCK all such content from us, (not just from internet, they rip out anything related to them on books, delete movie scenes, everything and anything), now I was showing my grandfather something online, and i opened MD, and he spotted the sign, suffice to say, he yelled at me for about 15 minutes for opening 'the enemies content'

my point : does MD really have anything to do with this? or is the fact that this sign popped up purely coincidental?
(even though I doubt this) if the first question answers no to the first part, is there anyway this can be removed?

now that I think about it, this might be why Egypt wasn't allowing me to connect to the MD... also, in all my time, and all my searching, I have failed to find ONE Arab player NOT from Lebanon also purely coincidental? I don't think so...
