well, since I married my lappy with milk coffee I don't play anything beside MD and facebook-time-eaters anymore :P but if you want a recommendation for an awesome game here it is: The Witcher The

  • Alpha Centauri (re-bought it a few weeks ago :D )   Assassin's Creed (+few other xbox games less so)   Various Newgrounds ones

I miss WoW....  MD stole it away from me.

(Seeing Dwarven Fortress made me smile.  I haven't played that in years, but was so fun.  The learning curve is insane on that.)

I'd have to add Cantr II  and FairyTale Online, but I recently stopped playing those also.

Lack of time is seriously impacting the game addictions lately!

Games I play regularly:

  • Dark Souls
  • Mount & Blade Warband (Floris Mod and Prophesy of Pendor Mod)
  • League of Legends
  • DotA 2

Games that I currently have installed but barely play

  • Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
  • Miasmata
  • Remember me
  • Deadpool
  • Neverwinter Nights Online
  • Don't Starve
  • Diablo 2 (Lords of Destruction Exp)

Favourite games

  • Assassin's Creed I
The first Assassin's Creed blew my mind, it's not a great game, but the story was just amazing for me. "Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted" became part of me.
  • Spec Ops: The Line
This game somehow made me cry when I finished it. It was... amazing.
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops
Hated the game, loved the story. THE NUMBERS MASON, WHAT DO THEY MEAN?
  • Antichamber
I really recommend this game to you guys. It's a one way trip. No more comments are needed.
  • Deus Ex (The first one)
GOD this was a good game. The story was good, but the game is even better that many, many games from this generation.
  • Shadow of the Colossus (Playstation 2)
Another game I cried with. The story is just breath taking, the music is incredible (I downloaded the Soundtrack and listen to it a lot), the artwork is amazing, and the gameplay is completely absorving. My favourite game from all time, a true gem.
  • Kingdom Hearts I & II
    Loved the story.
  • Dark Souls
No comments, just an incredible challenge I enjoyed a lot.
  • And a few other games I don't remember right now.

Guys, I really suggest you to play Antichamber.

Antichamber is the best puzzle game I have every played, I want all of you to go play Antichamber. (I've played and beaten Portal and its sequel)

Let's all play some .a2 :P

add me on steam

"Metruption / Rophs"

I'll change it later, the Rophs is for you people to more easily identify me

I currently play Neverwinter Nights 2. I also have Skyrim, Neverwinter Online and NwN1 Diamond edition on my desktop but i can only play one game at a time.

The Shin Megami Tensei series is what I've been playing recently. It has a lot of demon mythology and some interesting themes to it, like chaos vs order.

This topic is for current games or games in general? Cause my list is (and I am not ashamed to tell) quite long. And yes, I loved them all!

PC Games:

Age of Empires, Age of Conquerors, Age of Mythology

Civilazation (II and III)

Heroes of Might and Magic (at least 5 of them)

Baldur's Gate (Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal. )

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Sun

Rama (One of the best! )

Phantasmagoria I & II (Pretty spooky for the age I was on it)

Myst (The entire collection  )

Gabriel Knight

..and many more

PS:

Devil May Cry series

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Mortal Combat

Marvel vs Capcom

Tekken

..and a bunch of others.

Online Games:

Linage II (back in 2006, my first one)

World of Warcraft (after the Lich King I dropped it, still  )

Dota Allstars

Counter Strike (  )

and many many others...

BUT!

The only game that has managed to keep me playing it for 4 years straight has only been MD! And now that it is down and I only have a laptop with me, I will just settle with a few games at kongregate.

someone should try making a MD map for Civ5

With Each land as a Civ?
And MD Crits as Units?
And MD Players as Great People?
And and Alliances as City-States?
And instead of Techs Civs researches MD lore and the Principles and and things
And and and I love the idea.

Best game ever:

Grim Fandango! (check the soundtrack, it's the best!)

Another best game ever:

Metal Gear Solid

Lots of other great games there, but these two should do.

I played Lineage II 4 1/2 years right from the beta with some breaks in between and so far this is my longest gaming experience. MD comes right after it now ;).

Good that you remind me! :D Heroes of Might and Magic 4, not that much loved by Heroes fans but it's a classic for me. Soundtracks were the best, atmosphere charming...

Build MD in Minecraft? :P

Sudden urge to download newest Bukkit, and Worldedit, and waste even MORE time at work, since Md's firewalled for me.

I could be persuaded to throw a server copy out there, or at least a multi-world on our tiny server and dedicate it to MD cloning.  hmmm...  Darn you time-sucking game!  ^_^

Popolus! Now that was a game from my childhood.

Maeb you should absolutely do that. Not becuase of wasting time but because you would have to carefully examine every location in MD to build an accurate model in Minecraft and you would certainly lean lots and get lots of great research to share with everybody!
