Mass lowering of MDA visc

Featured Replies

Day 254 of Year 8 at 0:30 server time.

That will (hopefully) be the day we kill the visc leading up to and including the MDA gates. We will gather at GoE and then when we are all there we will all run through MDA and get the visc hopefully to -80.

Please post ITT if you plan on attending.

would be interesting to hear syggestions of a role name for one that dies often such visc clearing activities. I am planning a branched evolution of characters based on their activity and i think this activity could be included for a distinct role name

After a quick google:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thixotropy

Certain gels or fluids that are thick (viscous) under static conditions will flow (become thin, less viscous) over time when shaken, agitated, or otherwise stressed. They then take a fixed time to return to a more viscous state.

thix·ot·ro·py (th k-s t r -p ). n. The property exhibited by certain gels of becoming fluid when stirred or shaken and returning to the semisolid state upon standing.

It seems to describe the fluid substance itself, but perhaps something along those lines.
