When I was browsing through topics in Tribunal section of the Forum, I encountered topic called "Land logo" http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/10201-land-logo/ started by Mur. I noticed that there was attached Nazi symbol as a example of land logo shape connected with "noble supremacy". I will not comment that thoughts but:  there shouldn't be posted any symbols which signifies Nazism or any other ideology. I insist to remove it.

As the forum rules point:

Do not Post content or links to Pornographic, Politically extremist, Offensive, Degrading, or illegal sites.

I will ask again: what nazi logo? I fail to see any nazi logo but I also agree that it's not really something I am very familiar with. Care to enlighten me BEFORE throwing accusations?

O.o

You're insane. Mur posted that to emphasis  an idea.Shall I protest if I see somewhere posted 666 for example because I am a Christian and that's the number of the beast? Really? Have we gotten that far that we cannot see the forest because of the trees?

Is it an act of political extremism to say "Nazi"? Am I a spokesman for Walmart (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walmart) if I tell you what I think their slogan means?

Mur's post is about symbols, not about Nazi ideology.

We wont be removing it. I will post more in the morning if you dont understand the reasoning, but in short terms its not offensive becuase its in no way supporting the regime of Nazi Germany. It happened, it was bad, trying to ban history is bad.

Do not Post content or links to Pornographic, Politically extremist, Offensive, Degrading, or illegal sites.

The above statement is logically ambiguous and as such could be interpreted in multiple different ways.

The more verbose interpretation being:

Do not post content. Do not post links to Pornographic, Politically extremist, Offensive, Degrading or illegal sites.

It is not, however, logically equivalent to the statement:

Do not post, content or links to sites that contain content, that is Pornographic, Politically extremist, Offensive, Degrading or illegal.

Which is what this topic was interpreting the rule as.

The swastika goes very far back.

Check the one he is refering to though, Rophs ;)

That said, I agree with everyone else here (bar OP). No reason to remove it - indeed plenty of reason not to.

Symbology is an intricate part of MD... Should the flag for knight's order be deemed heretic because its like that of the knights templar which the church condemned to death ages ago? MD is a lot bout symbols and their meanings behind them... Try not seeing it as Nazi support but as a part of history... No one's being a skinhead here.
