This is particularly an issue when scrolling down through 6 feet (2 meters ) of inventory stuff, then you go back to the navigation screen.  You find yourself at the bottom of 6 feet of blank space, and need to scroll back to the top again.

You could fix this by automatically starting new screens/refreshes at the top of the window, instead of preserving previous position.

Oh, if it's what you think you mean, that page elongation also happens when visiting the Creature page if you have over X amount 

Please test this to see if it is still occurring. I believe I have fixed it.
