[Creature Stat Modifiers]

personally i don't think this should be changed. as you grow stronger you should move to stranger creatures. not make the lower creatures stronger.

the LR archer is bad but not for the reasons listed here, he just gives nothing worth while when sacrificing him. the knator can be very useful depending who your attacking and just how big there stats are. both are very easy to level up which is the key for newer players. so why make them uber strong?

ok, this is my take on this, and i hope some of you can prove me wrong. us stronger players are mad that you weaker players are hiding in the sanctuary, so we want days so we can kill you everywhere in the game? i think that just about sums it up.

maybe i can put a spin on it, what if a newer player asked how about a day all you older players put up nothing but weak defenses up so we could go around winning every battle? seems like asking the same thing to me.

well, i am one of those players who have come back to this game after being gone for a long while. Activity days: 31% (A total of 287 out of 927 days), the game had money problems back when i played it. i was a subscriber back before i quit.

this tombola idea isn't a bad one but it is to limiting if you need to raise money. next month will come and you will be in the same shape your in now(if not worse as players will spend more this month and less next if no prize is to be had), so what will happen another tombola? each time you have something like this you will need to increase the payouts to incite more people to buy into it. the novelty will wear out fast, and your right back to square one.

i would think the main problem is the game just don't have enough new players in it. add to this the older players are so over powered it isn't even funny. try being a mp5 now and you just get killed everywhere you go. that isn't exactly making a game fun and i wouldn't doubt this causes a lot of players to just quit when they reach this level, if they hadn't quit before then. i think this may even hold true with mp3, you can make a ton of alts and this will make it harder for newer mp3 to find and interact with those who are just discovering the game.

i will mention something a bit off topic here but i think this needs to be said also. the game for the most part ends at mp5 the story is over and your just about where your ever going to get to. people can disagree but look at all the mp5 who have super high activity days but are still at mp5. it was probably meant to be this way but it just don't help in my opinion for the overall growth of a game to lump everyone into such small groups and not really have much to aim for once you hit mp5.

the removal of free credits probably removed a lot of people hearing about this game. so just how will new players come here and ultimately become subscribers? i think this should be the main goal is to get more people into being a subscriber over a long period of time. it is the only way i can see how you could make enough money to keep a game that costs 1k per month going.

i didn't write this to piss you off mur, i am just stating things how i see them. i feel this would be best for the game overall if everyone would just come out and say what they think the problem is. we know it is your not making enough money but i don't see anyone coming up with a decent long term solution to anything.

chewette i didn't say you made that claim! if you were around when this happened you would of known more about it maybe? if something goes on sale would you only buy the first thing on sale, then the rest at full price? nope i doubt it. he should of simply said before it went up for sale, one time limit ... ect, not jump the gun to blame people for cheating him.

now for this matter of voting. it is easy to see how many free credits are given out then look to see if the voting links have increased. you can even figure out the percentage of those who don't vote this way. so mur should know what percentage of people were abusing this system.

one of the things i think he should of done instead of just removing it for everyone is to set the voting to appear after so many active days, to make this even easier just make it something you can buy from MD shops for free after 30-60 active days. another way would of been to restrict it to mp 4 or above. more then likely the ones who are abusing this system are those who haven't put much time or effort into the game.

for the never make it a pay to play game i know it will never be pay to play, if you look at my first post i stated this. but i guess you just skipped to the last page?

chewett it seems you jump to conclusions just like someone else around here. that is whats wrong! i didn't ever try to cheat mur, i don't think a lot of people have tried to. if they have then he should look at how he sets things up not just come out and say i am being cheated so i am removing this! i have morals and i have apparently more brains then you as i think accusing anyone of anything is wrong without proof! (note: writing a check knowing you have no money in your account isn't the same, unless you are simpleminded/chewett. so try again with a better analogy next time)

as for your other thing about making the game pay, it is a very simple solution to murs problems of people trying to get free credits to buy things. if you remove the whole chance of them and make the game pay only then no one can ever cheat him. will there be a ton less players? sure. will you lose out on people trying it then maybe paying? you bet you will. but this is a very simple solution to this problem. this is based not only off the free credits link being removed but the current events in the game.

Yrthilian your right about one thing not a lot of people are crying over it. but at same time if you look at the activity on these forums you will notice they fairly dead. who comes mostly to the forums? the higher older players who have everything from the shops in the first place.

this was presented as a matter of people scamming the system which i don't see. i voted everyday i could, except for when the links were all messed up due to lag they didn't work right and i don't know if my votes were counted. i can remember a time when mur made it so if you became a supporter you got an increase in in your amount of credits for that month alone, but then people would cancel and resubscribe. he called this cheating him? well, maybe it was but maybe it wasn't? point is that's how it was set up and why wouldn't someone want to make the most out of their money worth?

bottom line here is if mur thinks everyone is out to cheat him in one form or another just make the game pay to play. then those of us who don't have means to pay or can't pay will move on and no one will be "cheating him"!

you know i always wondered if you can make a alt then transfer the credits to your main? is that what your saying here? if that was the case as to why it was suspended i don't see how they can't catch that. or even easier make alts not have the ability to vote? that be a simple code change.

i doubt the game brings in enough revenue to have much paid advertising. i play a lot of online games and have never seen it anywhere other then the free voting links. it isn't hard to see how many players are paying then figure out this isn't a huge amount of money your talking about.

ok here is my two cents on this. this happened before, the links were removed for same reason. it was a bad idea then and is a bad idea now. i quit this game once before and now come back and see this? come on if no on was voting how was the game in such high standings on those lists? for those who say get a job or buy credits that isn't quite the point. this game is advertised to have ways that those who can't pay can get what those who can pay, so just how is this holding true now?

i used to be a subscriber to this game but then quit like i said above and this now defiantly makes me wonder whats the point of playing this game again? less people will hear about it, less chances to get things, less chances of everything. can i get to angens now? no! can i use links to build up my vp and buy things? no! can i recharge my ve? no! hell this will become a giant list of no no no if i keep on going. so a nice way to put the game on a downwards spiral!
