It does raise a concern when new players don't know how to gain xp because non-damage is the only type of fighting they do. Doing a non-damage for healing or trying something is one thing. To put a bunch of wins on a creature for other purposes is quite another. MP3s really shouldn't be doing that. I'd hate to see something drastic happen because the MP3s felt they all needed to be at the level of a couple of select MP3s that are way beyond what they should be. This is in reference to MP3s only.[/font][/color]

I've been struggling with the words through this whole topic that I wanted to make a point with. Many see the scenes in MD as meaning things much deeper. Windows to the creator's mind as it were. There will be those that see something and say "Why is that there?" Rumi's response has brought forth what I was thinking. While there are things that are there, doesn't the lack of something speak volumes as well? [/font][/color]

They are at the final stage of the forest cycle. The lack of pines and many of the faster growing trees means they contain no younger growth. [/font][/color]

Even then I get the message that Cutler did, which forces to repeat the process. Funny thing is ky does eventually come up and works [/font][/color]

What if there could be an if/then/else statement? Something like if age is less than 30 and attack less than 100, then no fight, else fight. I'm no programmer and my numbers are merely suggestions. As I said, I'm more concerned about protecting the newbies.[/font][/color]

[color="#8B0000"][font="Palatino Linotype"]I'm not convinced 'broken' is the right word. MD is unique in that it doesn't function like any other game out there. We don't have to do something if we don't want to. While I feel that it could be potentially harmful to MD as a whole for a player to linger at MP3 and pound on others, people aren't forced to hit the button to move to the next level. They are left to choose for themselves. Those who wish to stay at a particular level do so for their own reasons. If it breaks the few rules we have, then it should be taken care of. We could go into the big fish in a little pond mentality, but that would just take the thread off topic.[/font][/color]
