I don't run around insulting your countries. Please stop insulting mine. We aren't perfect. We never claimed to be. Most Americans don't want to be involved with all the world's crap. Doesn't matter though. US is damned if it does something and damned if it doesn't. If I could keep the US from getting involved in things, I would. I can't. I knew there were some that hated the US in MD. It's becoming apparent that it's grown quite a bit lately. I guess I have to either keep taking your insults or leave. [/font][/color]

Yeah I could dredge up the past issues the the bombing of PanAm flight 103, but that doesn't justify what's happening now (nor would a good number of you remember it). This thread was started to keep the citizens in our thoughts and prayers. They're the ones that will ultimately suffer. (PS: President Obama has even less support for his current actions with US involvement than President Bush had with Iraq. Apparently you can't be president of the US without committing a major military blunder)[/font][/color]

We may or may not approve of their actions, but we should be careful not to pass judgment over an entire country because of the actions of a few. My thoughts and prayers go to the citizens that are caught in the middle of all this. [/font][/color]

AzureKyte: So I grabbed a blanket and to the couch we went. Scitsy: I broke the mirror instead of punch him out aaront222: And then I ate some sour kraut Sunfire: all the time wondering if it is real Phear Wolf: we decided we deserved a hot meal *Burns*: So i called the italian and asked him to bring *Mya Celestia*: a big pile of spaghetti and don't sing. adiomino: Then along came the chef who took a spill. Phear Wolf: and crying wrote his last will Scitsy: he brought good food aaront222: my girfriend came back with a hug and put me in the mood *Burns*: But i shoo'd her away cause of aaront's crude *Mya Celestia*: There'd be no way I'm going nude adiomino: So she walked out the door without a word Phear Wolf: while I left to save the world Scitsy: I realized that I was no hero aaront222: i went home and ate a churro Sunfire: pondering what to do now *Burns*: when through the window, there swept in a crow, *Mya Celestia*: I ducked under the bed adiomino: And hit my head Phear Wolf: the creature laughed at me Scitsy: so i hit his head against my knee aaront222: i was on a killing spree aaront222: ahh i meant to not say that Sunfire: and looked around for my next victim *Burns*: aaront loses. [color="#8B0000"][font="Palatino Linotype"]I'm going to set something straight here about the sludge. Liquid dust, black water, and the taint were not nor were they going to be used in it. It was debated but never my original intent to use. If people want to claim that they had an influence over the decision, be my guest. I had several people come at me with "can't", "don't", and "you don't know" arguments. Even using the shard got people bothered even though I was a first hand witness to when the event actually happened. I was told we can't do rp segments like the sludge if they don't involve game mechanics. Then I was told the complete opposite. A few little things that I did to "set the stage" for the sludge got me told that I didn't know what I was doing. People argued that they wouldn't acknowledge it because they didn't "see" it. That doesn't wash with me. I don't have to see disasters to know that they happen. If we work in MD in this manner, nothing would ever happen because we all can't see everything that happens.[/font][/color]

[color="#8B0000"][font="Palatino Linotype"]There will always be those that "blow off" the guidelines for the park and attack people. It does raise a concern when new players don't know how to gain xp because non-damage is the only type of fighting they do. Doing a non-damage for healing or trying something is one thing. To put a bunch of wins on a creature for other purposes is quite another. MP3s really shouldn't be doing that. I'd hate to see something drastic happen because the MP3s felt they all needed to be at the level of a couple of select MP3s that are way beyond what they should be. This is in reference to MP3s only.[/font][/color]
