I do feel that things should be spelled out for the citizens. They shouldn't have to guess what they can and can't do. Granted a ruler can't be expected to catch everything, but a lack of laws is no excuse. If a king wishes to put stipulations on quests held by his people, it should be in his laws. People aren't mind readers. Yes, there are a few things that should be obvious to a citizen like trying to do something that the king would have to answer to Mur/council for. However, a citizen shouldn't expect the king to chase them down to check on things. Kings aren't mind readers either. A citizen should approach the king with a land relating project like wish point awards or forming groups that take a name from the land. As with any relationship, communication is foundational for success. If you aren't sure, ask.

4. *sings* Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Yrth! Happy Birthday to you! May your day and year be blessed with joy and happiness.
5. Try talking to different people with different symbols before their names. The symbols are alliance badges. You'll get a feel for the alliances and lands if you spend time doing a little investigation.
6. It's been nearly a year yet those wps keep coming back to haunt me. Here is the description I would have put at the time had I realized that I could have (I know what it says, but it's a visual handicap on my part) "Guardian only quest: a series of requirements to reveal the inner thoughts, feelings, and devotion of the Guardians." "Mentorship: showing the most devotion to expanding the Guardians. Going above and beyond the call of duty to improve the ranks." As for the one I gave on Grido's behalf, that was his description that he had me put in the box. I haven't given a wp since. I was going to give a wp for Sharazhad's Movember quest, but I'm not sure I will now. I don't want someone else to risk losing their wp because I can't write a good reason. This is one of the few things I've ever been involved with that doing what your superior tells you or helping someone gets you tortured and punished.
7. you'd have to click the book to activate it. That way you have a choice of fighting it. It would only attack if you tried to read it.

9. With Mur's announcement about Tribunal changes, I got an idea. Many of us know about the little house in Tribunal labaled "Floating Book". Contrary to the name, there isn't a book there currently. What if a floating book was put there that attacked you viciously if you tried to read it? Yet if you managed to defeat it, the book would offer you some tiny tidbit of information like, "You defeated the vicious book and managed to read a page." Just a thought.
10. The clock radio is on the farthest side of the room for me. When it goes off, I lay there listening to the weather and then it happens. The station that the radio receives plays the world's most obnoxious song from an old kid's TV show. Drives me right out of bed to get away from it. Washing my face always wakes me up, too. Once I've done that, the day has officially started. When I can't sleep at night because my brain won't settle, I try to imagine a plain white wall. I then try to force my mind to say 'blank'. I know that sounds goofy, but try it when your mind is racing. It can be quite difficult. It forces my mind into a reset mode which knocks me out.
11. Make sure you're seeing the doctor. Black mold can be very dangerous to your health. I've known people that had to physically remove the wall board, insulation, and flooring and replace them to truly get rid of it.
12. I keep hearing about a loss of freedom. Sometimes losing something forces a growth of creativity. How much groaning did we hear from non-land people when the ap was changed? How they had lost access to certain places because of it? Some simply gave up. Others put their brains to work and found ways around it. Instead of looking at what is lost, try coming up with something else. MD is a land of possibilities. We just have to try and be creative.
13. I'm in! *searches her files for last year's address list* I'm making mine this year
14. *hugs* I'm so sorry for your loss, Magnus. My thoughts and prayers go with you and the family. Hold the memories close to your heart, and share them with her children as they grow so they can know how special their mother was. Take the time you need. RL always comes first.
15. *sings* Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Dormouse! Happy Birthday to you! May your day be super special and your year full of happy surprises
16. 1. Tour Europe on horseback. why not: I have young children at home and the trip would take longer than is feasable to leave them with someone. why: I'm still young enough to be able to handle the journey and the cost would not be overly great. because: A dream that I've always had to see the rural countryside of Europe. 2. Achieve balance in MD. why not: I spend much of my time helping instead of fighting. why: I could silently grind in some corner until I am balanced. because: It would be one less thing to constantly struggle with and weigh on my mind. 3. I'm with dst on my 3rd one. Hire a housekeeper! why not: I really have no excuse not to do it myself. why: I hate doing housework. because: Contrary to popular belief, having children does not mean you have live-in housekeepers. Especially when they are boys I'd love a self-cleaning toilet and self-folding laundry
17. When I signed up to be an LHO, it was simply to help people. It wasn't for a medal or credits. It was and still is to help new people fall in love with the world of Magic Duel and experience it to its fullest.
18. Take a pic BigC so we can see it! You never know
19. Rookie of the year should cover 365 days. Tweenager of the year (not rookie or on the active vet list) Most active vet of the year (from the av list) I'm not sure best rper is a good one. It's really subjective because of differences in rp opinions Best quest Elite Adventurer for best quester What about something like Citizen of the year? Could go to someone that is not in an alliance yet has contributed greatly to the realm. LE: My listing at the top was to show support of the catagories and requirements like Grido was looking for. I wasn't trying to be redundant.
20. Due to lack of communication and activity, Dracoloth is denied. Maybe when he becomes more active he can try again.
21. I was trying to keep my idea short and to the point. I'll expand a little. The thought with the pop up system I had was that it would only go toward the land to which that person belonged (ie only Lorerootians would affect Firsan). It could be expanded to include a message area. Sort of like the system that Mur was implementing for the AL. The system would know by account number which land the player belonged to, but could keep the player anonymous. Although staying anonymous makes it hard for the player and the king to work things out. Just trying to come up with a viable solution.
22. Fortune's well is debatable because it opens into the underground. Tribunal does have the pump, but until Knator Commander is finished we won't know for sure what else it has. (Sorry the response has been slow)
23.
next to be done is a way to see percentage of discontent in a land
Why not once a week the system pop a screen between log in and the game with a +/- voter or a 1-5 scale of kingship satisfaction? The system could keep track of this and calculate it according to land. If it goes to a certain percentage or amount of dissatisfaction, a flag goes up letting Mur know.
