1. Santa now has legs. Granted he's sitting at a workbench, but you can still see the legs. I finally got him smaller, too!
2. Ok, instead of the cookie how about a special "toy" I try to make the pics smaller, but they don't want to.
3. In "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" Santa lays his finger at the side of his nose and gives a nod to go up the chimney. I wasn't thinking of snorting when I drew it. I was afraid someone would think he was picking his nose. I wanted to do something different because I know what level 2 looks like.
4. I decided to give it a try. Santa having his cookie before going back up the chimney. I can't seem to make him any smaller. If a moderator could make it a bit smaller please.
5. I almost always (unless they're all broken) have a vic rit on defense. I'd be excited to find people that don't have an xp sucking rit on defense. These grasans don't train themselves the lazy buggers. Getting in to MD is the challenge of the day
6. How far back do you want us to go?
7. Liberty plains and Jesters street/door are actual coordinate names.
8. An original suggestion was once a week, but DoT is less frequent which is better. It would save others from rescuing people because they were asleep when a meeting ended (like the last land meeting). It would also help newbies that wander into the maze. Regardless of the apparent ease this presents, people will generally try to get out of their stuck situation. I'm not convinced it will stop people from exploring. If anything it may encourage further exploration. Younger players may try to get deeper into Tribunal knowing that they have an out in a realistic time frame. It would give non-alliance people a "jump" option. The non-alliance people are the ones that would benefit most from this.
9. Do you need any more?
10. The GoE spell (to me) is a special spell. Only certain people have it for a specific reason. It's not an "every day" spell like attack lock or move lock which can be acquired through the wish shop. It should be held to a different standard in my opinion.
11. One of the most often questions I get has been referenced above: It says I get x number of action points in the story boost, but I didn't get them. I get that question more than "What is heat?"
12. Just for reference, I didn't know ahead of time that Mya was going to get killed. A question because I'm not sure: how many needles are there?
13. It's adorable! Be sure to give it lots of hugs and candy
14. I agree. A random chance of failure makes it more "real". People generally aren't perfect at something the first time. Failure should be an option. Bring on random acts of oops!
15. When does combat become abusive? Are we saying that you can beat a person the entire time they are in game practically every time you can for days on end making you the only target is not abusive? Verbal attacks are abusive, but not other attacks because they are "combat"? We can't use certain words because they are offensive some. We can't do certain actions because they are offensive to some. We can beat the tar out of someone because it actually is a silent abuse. I don't see that as fair. Go ahead and tell me MD isn't fair. I already know that, but when did MD decide it wanted to allow cruelty as well?
16. Let's pull back from this for a moment and think about it. A big kid beats up a little kid and steals his lunch money every day. Little kid goes to an adult about it and it should be taken care of. Adults get bullied and harassed they go to the law. Practically every situation does not tolerate bullying. I find it sad that this realm seems to praise it. Survival of the fittest? Personally I'm not an animal. I don't kill those weaker than myself to prove I'm strong. Might shouldn't make right. Might should be tempered with wisdom. Not to sound cliche, but with power comes responsibility. Yes, MD has a harassment rule. It doesn't appear to be applied often. Just look at the harassment on the forum over some posts. Instead of offering support, people are bashed for whining or whatever. How is that justice? How is that fair play? (I'm speaking in general here) The little kid that loses his lunch money every day who gets no response from an adult are the ones we hear about that end up doing something drastic. Adults do drastic things when bullied, too. It's not about manning up or growing a thicker hide. It's about wanting things balanced.
17. I generally don't do things like this, but it sort of goes along with the recent review. This a message I received from what appears to be an aggravated newbie. I've changed nothing in it. It is pasted exactly as I received it. "HELLO...SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR GAME 'GUIDELINES' ON PROPER FIGHTING, BALANCE...WHAT THIS SITE NEEDS IS SOMEONE TO CAPTURE SCREEN SHOTS OF YOUR RULES, REGULATIONS, PLUS THE EMAIL FROM YOUR SITE STATING THAT 'ACCOUNT CAN NOT BE DELETED' AND POST IT ON YOU TUBE..NOT RECOMMENDING YOUR ONLINE GAME." My response message has gone unopened. Most likely because the player will not be returning. Deleting an account is something I'm asked about more often than I'd like to admit. I would venture to say that the question comes at least once a week. My suggestions would be: 1. make deleting an account available 2. remove the comments in the tutorial fights about needing to win/lose. (I hear about those a lot, too) 3. make the [Restrictions] at the top of the page a different color to draw attention to it. 4. pull the FAQ information from the LHO to a separate choice at the top of the screen with the restrictions and announcements. Even if the above player was an alt, they present valid points.
18. It was suggested once that Eon's ability be adjusted so it worked similar to stat gaining. When we fight, we don't get addition to all stats; however, Eon is able to take stats across the board. It seems a bit unbalanced that we can't gain in all yet Eon can take in all. I'm more for balancing.
19. I'd be happy to enchant stones for people. We'll have to have a good old-fashioned snowball fight when December gets here and the "snow" starts falling
20. Something I've noticed throughout all these threads is that people expect Grido to be able to fix things. He has a great deal of power--yes. He has access to Mur--yes. Does this mean he can snap his fingers and make Mur do things? Not in the least. How many times have any of us said or thought that we didn't want to deal with something regardless of how great or how small. Mur is likely to have days like that as well. When it comes down to it, Grido can't make Mur do anything. He can't make the council do anything either. If the identity of the offender is revealed, we all may understand why Grido went to Mur and why things may be delayed. As for the whole thing about contacting the council, check the bottom of the actual MD screen. Just like practically every other website out there the contact information is under [contact] at the bottom. Mur's email is there as well.
21. I wish things were handled with more tact. The bluntness that many use comes across as quite harsh. It isn't necessary.
22. I'm going to be blunt. The information I got was from a FORUM thread. The link used above is not where I got the information. You can wave that flag all you want, but it's not where I got the information. It was a forum thread started by Mur that was from something like '08. If anybody has access to the hidden threads that Burns mentions, please make a copy of the post I'm referencing.
23. It wasn't in ancient lore. It was in work in progress. I only mentioned Chaos Woods in reference to the post not in the mini quests. This was just a question. Please don't make it about ancient lore. I was extremely careful when making these.
24. There was an old thread in the forum that Mur wrote that I referred them to. In it he calls them White Lake and Green Lake. I don't even begin to look at ancient lore. That's been a no no for a long time. If a newbie makes any sort of reference to it in my mini quests, I steer them right away from it.
