Heads seem to be disappearing at times even when online. I just went from 14 to 7 heads for no apparent reason.

I like the idea of using shards to customize the creature. Maybe you can give it one of your weapons to specialize it into either attack, defense, power etc.

I often notice it. The timer seems to go out of sync after a while. It's either caused by viewing another tab in the browser or simply by staying on MD for a while. Most of the time the timer is off by 30 seconds or less, but sometimes if you are inactive without idling the timer resets back to 10 minutes without giving AP.

I think they are there for use elsewhere and just "live" there.
I just attacked a bunch of the MP2 NPC's with my 3 day old alt. They are weak enough for newbies. After I managed to defeat some of the weak ones and get a better attack stat, my win ratio against them went up. Heat gain is slow, but those NPC's would be a good alternative to fighting other players.
