  1. oh, man. I keep messing up... yes, Uddy's 7 silver bid on the BP. Thank you. any more mistakes?
  2. BP - highest bid 7sc marksmen x3 - 5sc each fresh joker - bid 2sc angiens - bid 4sc for the highest token and age, 3sc for the other two. (one was a bid via PM)
  3. Thanks, Chewwy. I didn't think to space it out like that until I got here to do it and you had already done so. Alas, this topic has failed regardless.
  4. sold already, savage. and people had bet higher than that anyway anyways, I think I might be closing this topic soon...
  5. ugh. 17 silver for #1
  6. I continue playing MD because I can't get what Magic Duel offers from any other game. What MD lacks in, i.e. it's lack of graphics or huge player base, it more than makes up for with the sense of identity it gives its' players. I used to be a huge MMO fan for the reason that they had these astounding graphics and were quite enjoyable, but have since stopped playing those in exchange for Magic Duel. The reason behind this is that MD addresses a problem that many chronic gamers face eventually: lack of uniqueness. This very problem is what made me turn to MD. Here, I can feel that I am an individual that contributes to the overall community in the game. When I log in, people recognize me and greet me. In Magic Duel, you can surround yourself in a role. Whether it be a king, an alliance leader, a combatant, or an Rper, each person you see in Magic Duel is their own person, something unique within the game that no one else can become or encompass. That's why I play MD over anything else.
  7. This thread should begin with a little back-story first. So, I was participating in the Heads Contest recently at the Gazebo of Equilibrium. I say participating because it really was no contest, but that's another topic. I was holding my standing as second when Ravenstrider began opening and closing a portal in the gazebo. When I inquired into the matter, he told me that it was just a matter of clicking in the right sequence. At his mention of opening a portal with a series of clicks, I began to recall my recent visit to Golemus. The Pillars of Harmony seemed to have a similar purpose as the Gazebo of Equilibrium. This brought me to a realization: the meaning and value of almost every location in Magic Duel grows depending on a player's experience and willingness to explore their surroundings and ask around. Even beginning quests such as Berserker's Challenge lead up to this process of unlocking areas to explore them. On a deeper level, the same can be said with the symbolism in Magic Duel, most notably areas such as the Tribunal Lands which were built around loose concepts such as numerology and subtle symbolism. This same idea, of instilling deeper meanings and uses, can be seen even in the opening area of the game, the Paper Cabin. It states that it will always have a use, whether you are a new player or the oldest veteran. Other elements of MD, such as its' objects, items, etc. have a value that can only be truly appreciated once a player has used them several times. This applies not only to more noticeable items, such as the fountain of dark vibrations, but also to seemingly useless items such as a rock near a gazebo, a stair, or a scenic object such as a fountain or well. Sorry to rant, but what I really want is to hear each and every player opinion and experience that they are willing to share, so tell it. Young or old, each player has their own experiences and opinions for this subject. (sorry for the long post, hope it wasn't too boring edit: changed it, I feel so dumb. I can't tab though...
  8. It's fine, Shem. Just a little poor right now...
  9. http://magicduel.inv...if-good-prices/ I'm willing to trade 21 silver in addition to any combination of creatures from that thread for your Rusty.
  10. fine. 17 silver for #2 Edit: 17 silver, oops. Thanks Udgard.
  11. http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/9350-price-checkwts-if-good-prices/ I'm willing to trade any combination of creatures from that thread for your Rusty. Pm me if interested
  12. so mean, pash. 13 silver for #2
  13. I see. Wouldn't that kind of defeat the purpose though? Making another MDP isn't exactly what I had in mind when I set out to start a training group. All I want is a more organized, cooperative group. If that is impossible, then I understand. I just thought I'd try. Maybe the best one can hope for is a non-secretive, open training ground like Marble Dale Park. Edit: I was referring to Curi's post, Chewwy just beat me to the post. The group I'm working on is still in progress, I just don't know what to expect. I hope it won't be negative.
  14. haha, okay I give. close the topic. I don't know what grinding is supposed to be, besides cooperative. when in MDP, the only difference is you're getting constantly bombarded by losses from higher-tier players. People criticize, however it's easy to say that getting in groups isn't the answer when you can hold your own as a player or have successfully removed yourself from combat.
  15. 2 gold 3 silver for the Soulweaver.
  16. currently, we're a tiny group getting wins in a tranquil environment. not really a big issue. besides, I'm confidant that 4 or 5 MP5s training in a dynamic location will fly under the radar. If it doesn't, oh well.... at least we tried
  17. of course player location spells, leaked info, etc. We can always try though, and maybe it will lead to less unwanted attention than we usually get. Just trying to insert some countermeasures and put some organization to training.
  18. So, a few of us are gathering a group for training in the lands of the east. Any discussion should be taken to this thread. If interested, please pm a, sasha, or myself in-game. No specifics will be put here so as to stave away.... unwanted attention.
  19. man, I stink at bidding. 8sc for number one?
  20. I posted in the forum and mood panel. What an idiot I am... lol.
  21. It seems as though I am under investigation. I have nothing to hide. However, what I would like to know is why I am under investigation. The line: "It is likely that these accounts will be removed without further notification." terrifies me, frankly. I have done nothing wrong and have broken no rules, at least to my knowledge. Ask anyone, and they will tell me that I am a polite player that doesn't engage in these sorts of things. I have spent money, and gotten all of my creatures, items, etc. through means of the shops or fair trade. So what I'm asking, which is more of a public outcry is: what did I do wrong?! The only transgression that I can even imagine that I have made is that I have two other alts. The first is ChildOfTheMind, which was my original main which I very rarely use, and I stress very rarely. My other alt, ChildOfTheHeart has around 5 active days and will never be an important character. I cannot, however, see how any of this could make the status of my main suspended. So I ask, please tell me why so that I can at least explain myself. I can't imagine not being able to play this game considering how wonderful I think it is and the.. I suppose meager investment I put into it. I'm so worried, please help or explain. Best regards, soon to be non-existant ChildOfTheSoul oh, duh. sorry about that *palm face*
  22. If you're looking for tokened creatures, you can look at my thread... http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/9350-price-checkwts-if-good-prices/ as for the marksmen, mine aren't tokened...
