um interesting, this stuff is good i will definatelly play with them when i will be doing my papers and will do nice profile page as well, i know some people who could help me out with this and got told that if html code is allowed to be written along normal content then i can modifiy anything on that page where that code gets added so this could get really nice
seems odd that there isnt template for doc2 (ally page? i think) and no avatar template, avatar are very cool and i think they do add very important aspect of describing character, oh and way to show inventory would be cool too, those 3 things are sooo distant for me anyway, but i wonder how come nobody else havent brought it up before
i really like this i never in any other game saw this kind of thing

latest win7/ff/flash
regen timer tick glitch
- control check
after login or after it ticks and you refresh to verify that it happened, take note of time on any clock, or even open stopwatch although any clock will do it
wait for it to tick, dont tab out of md, dont go to facebook or youtube or anywhere or if you do, come back before time runs out and refresh and stay active in md tab when timer runs out, wait a bit for response on flash thingy with stats or refresh manually
you will notice tick happened
-requirement and steps to reproduce
md in one tab, few other tabs open or other application opened, lets say notepad (point is to switch focus on your pc to anything that isnt md game)
do first step exactly as in control check
now tab out to something else, and dont go back to md tab until by you are sure according to your time reference to another clock/stopwatch that it ticked (give it a some extra time like a minute so that you can clearly notice changes)
come back to md tab and check if tick happened (refresh), and you will see that timer isnt at 9 min (assuming you waited that extra minute on stop watch) but its back at 10 mins (full timer counting down) btw it might take 2 refreshes, sometimes it shows time on first refresh as you expect it to be, but on second refresh it will show proper time which is full regen time (10 mins minus those few seconds in between first and second refresh), however ap will be added at first refresh, so wise its fine, you only lost some minutes
so lets say you were supposed to have 1 min left on your timer and you come back from other tab after lets say 18 min, it wont be 1-2 min left as you expect it in fact system will start counting from full regen timer, if you come back and dont refresh and just wait for regen timer to tick and then you get supprised that no ap was added and you refresh you will see either full regen timer or full regen timer minus the time you were playing after you tabbed back in (depending if you just stare at game or click around, timer gets reset when you do something ingame)
but if you come back lets say 23 mins after, second tick will happen as well because server didnt received any activity from you and checks that your stats arent fully regenerated and does tick (because it seems to check if you need regen after full regen timer has passed and it didnt receive any activity from you, so it acts same way as if you idled/logged out)
in short if you just got your ap, and moved and tabbed out to do something else you will lose some minutes if you arent active in md tab during the time of a tick, because clock will reset inproperly which means your precious minutes are stolen from you aka your regeneration is slowed
simple english: tabbing out counts the same as clicking idle/logout for the regen timer
at least thats what happens to me, anyone else?

oke scratch the above, too lazy to edit, its not just by tabbing out, just staring at md tab alone and adding some time after tick then starting to be active will reset regen timer
exact diagnosis is when regen timer ticks it freezes until you start doing stuff inside the game (any action that involves server will do it) regen timer unfreezes once server has first time communication with you after last regen tick
i am pretty damn sure if you just leave it open and do nothing while in your location people are chatting, hence server send stuff to you, it would count as action and unfreeze regen timer after tick, assuming you are looking at chat and not at your creats for example, same goes for pm i think and/or anything other form of server initiated communication, even maybe people passing through location, server sends you update on list (cant verify this atm, i double checked everything else)
so to pile this edit with above, if you aint active while game is open exactly during tick, regen timer stops, if you do anything lets say minute after tick, that minute was wasted, but if you remain inactive until that timer during which you havent clicked anything runs out, tick will happen and ap will be added and it will froze again, just like idle mode, so if you know you havent been playing during this tick, better wait out till it runs out if it has like minute or few left and then show activity (unless chat exception happened)

this might be a problem with stats counter below regen not updating even thought little circle made full 360 turn after which server should send update on the counter, but it stops doing that after "regen timer freeze"(explained above), so after tick server doesnt send you update on your ap change if there is no activity notification from your side
so both things get frozen, in short "soft idle mode" turns on
-possible fix
make server to comunicate back to clinet that tick happened if player isnt idle/logged off
or make it that it doesnt require to receive request from player in order to unfreeze timer, because it currently uses idle mode way of work hence this arrises
players might not experience/notice this in crowded area but if you are traveling in remote locations and have feeling for time, you will notice it and hate it

but if lets say i took a stroll and went back with like 5 ap and kept clicking, and i hit the right code, would it say it failed to open or would it look the same as entering wrong code?

unlike other puzzles goe pillars dont have any message lying around saying that its some sort of puzzle
yet each of them is labeled with pair of letters, also all locations seem to have pair of letters hidden somewhere in scenery which are different from ones on pillars (i dont think i saw same pair of letters shown on pillars to appear anywhere else, but i could be wrong) and when you touch them in proper order useful thing will appear....
so i guess it is some type of thingy to solve but i have been breaking my head for quite some time now and i fail to see ANY logic in how it could work
my question is, do goe pillars have some logical mechanic behind them which player can understand and solve in order to unlock them, or is it just one huge clickfest? (i am at 8% already and bored to death)

My intention is to provide each land with a clear advantage over a particular resource(s) and not make things equal across lands. This motivates trade and trade means cooperation and interaction and thats good. It is ok for two lands to have an advantage over the same resoruces, but then other lands should be really limited in getting in by other ways other than trade.
does that counts for apatridic population (no homeland and no mans land) or will that move force players who want to enjoy those resources to join one of 4 main lands (mb,nv,gg,lr)

i finally can prove this kind of stuff is possible as i thought on day one with shades, dark slime "cheated" a bit with its stats, so i called in extra help, special thanks to syrian for making this possible

thats good to hear, but i got told that in this game combat isnt mandatory, and thats something i really like, so i will see what path exactly will i tread, be it healer or some other casual civilian :D

few toys to play with sounds good, i will come pick them for sure, hopefully they aint harmful, i dislike doing harm ^^
I guess its the first 5 fights, meaning the first 5 shades, rather than battles. A tad confusing. Also fighting the shades was trying to get you to recruit aramors instead of healers :P
well it still applied on 6th and 7th shade, i will see if it still applies now that i am outside of tutorial, but i guess that would be noticed by now?

i got this when i clicked inventory button on right

i also got pretty much same error when i completed registration form, just on different line i think it was line 352
after beating last shade you get offered principle choice, but on first pick theres only 9 choices "one is missing", in fact first button gives you time and entropieisometimes when clicking on shadows it gave me some error saying something like: "illegal action reported keeping on this will get you banned" i asked live help, mralyon said it happens sometimes, so i guess thats known issue?
STARTUP BONUS: Adding 2506 combo vitality bonus for first 5 fights
this gave me a lot of trouble.... because i wanted to win the game with just healers hehe and as read around about combat it seems to me it would be plausible if this newbie bonus didnt popup each time (except shadow #4, its weaken stack on same creature is too strong)
regardless of my foolish intentions and headaches i found out that it doesnt work as it claims to work, i lost like 15 fights against shadows and it keep poping up, so i assumed it would stop when i beat 5 of them, but even after 5 shadows killed it still poped up in fight against 6th shadow
i encountered two more problems with overall interface, and yes i have latest windows patch, firefox update and flash update, my screen is 1280x1024 and well i must say that text size inside game is causing me eye strain, so if i increase it in browser it still doesnt look right/comfortable cause of relation to other elements on page
other solution i tried is to increase browser zoom on everything but then flash elements start looking like minecraft, so if i fix one problem something else gets bad and it aint really comfortable to play
there is also problem about text being partial in creature page on flash icons saying stuff like 1% vitality instead of 100% and 2/2 instead of 200/200
so i wonder is there a way to zoom everythin on page except location picture, i think that would solve my problem
in case you are wondering why i didnt provided pictures of it, i would have upload screenshots but unsure where to upload without registering and ending getting my inbox full of spam
ou and so far game is quite different than any other (it has pokemons, it has open rp elements like myrealms, it has mystery, so i guess i will stay awhile) and that orange help button showed me some nice and helpful people
