A Request for Shift of Power or Change

i think you got something very wrong so let me clear this out a bit:

NO UNANNOUNCED QUESTS WILL GET SPONSORED. The sponsorship is for quests that already managed to get some sort of reward up. Is it more clear now? Part of making a quest relates to how you manage to reward it yourself or how others support it. TK's role is to come as a supplement NOT TO REPLACE player supported rewards. I thought i made that very clear in the announcement, apparently not.

there are many reasons why so, but i let you figure the rest out on your own.

That is very clear.

On thing is still not clear to me.
Do you expect Quest Makers to ask Treasure Keepers for sponsorship after the quest is announced?
Or do you expect Treasure keepers to select what they sponsor on their own without any request from the Quest Maker?

okay that makes sense! Sorry now I get it, I suppose it's all those years playing Diablo2lod that made me not like the word Newbie.

Not liking the word newbie is an entirely personal thing, The term "noob" is normally considered a rude comment, which can refere to an old or new player, but i would have said nearly universally newbie just means new person, Which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Also you should reconsider the term Newbie/ Newb as it is considered by gamers to be an insult.

As Chewett outlined, there is actually a difference between "newb" (or newbie) and "noob" (or n00b).

A newb is generally a new player, admitting they are new and requiring further guidance.
A noob is not necessarily new, but normally is, and generally boasts about being able to do things they can't, offends people, and blames their own lack of skill/knowledge on other sources (lag, etc) rather than admit their own shortcomings. Hence, calling someone a noob is actually insulting, while saying someone is a newbie isn't.

It is both possible, and common, for a noob to also be a newbie, although it is not required.
A good example of a classic noob is Dermott Fictel from "The Venture Bros"

*Ahem* And with that, I have gone well and truly offtopic, so I shall stop here >.>

The term is a slang, it has a wide array of definitions none of which are same. It would clear things up just to use proper English and say New at quest making or inexperienced. Yes I needed a 3 post definition on the word, thank you ever so kindly nooblets.

Anyhow Mur stated that -

I hate those mood panel posts "find me" ..To make that possible tk has to have a way to travel to the sponsored people. That implies chase spell, and i don't like it, but i might give tk the summon spell and prepare them an office. i will see how else to do it (you can vote for it if you like)

I was attempting to create a poll about this in the General section, same as here but I think its blocked, Do I need special permissions to post a poll??

Final Clarification Regarding Communication Outside MD"

I would like to point that (if this is not happening), BFH´s idea about the Treasury link for the TK, is a good idea to us keep in touch with him when needed and also to avoid the use of others resources of communication to resolve in game situations.
