smartalekrj Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 (edited) I posted the picture to show that my store heat isn't just empty heat... it's physically not there at all. I did ctrl f5 it already. I have a new computer with windows 8 on it and the explorer version is 10 Edited November 22, 2012 by smartalekrj Quote
Root Admin Chewett Posted November 22, 2012 Root Admin Report Posted November 22, 2012 clear cache, looks like a problem with flash not loading. Quote
smartalekrj Posted November 22, 2012 Author Report Posted November 22, 2012 cache cleared. I went and checked to make sure I have flash and I do and it's up to date. Still nothing and I cannot accumulate heat either as I just found out. Quote

smartalekrj Posted November 22, 2012 Author Report Posted November 22, 2012 switching to a different browser doesn't solve the issue, it looks away from it. Oddly enough the compatibility view doesn't come automatically on. Once I set it to autoon my heat returned. Thanks! Quote

smartalekrj Posted November 22, 2012 Author Report Posted November 22, 2012 i'll agree with that... this new computer is confusing the crap out of me.... took me 2 days to figure out how to get to the desktop... windows 8 is definitely out there as unique Quote
Root Admin Chewett Posted November 22, 2012 Root Admin Report Posted November 22, 2012 IE 10 is very experimental currently, im not surprised that some things dont work for it, its generally a step in the right direction but because its new its going to be some time before either A) it supports standards properly and therefore things in MD work or B) MD has some hacks written for it to work Quote
smartalekrj Posted November 22, 2012 Author Report Posted November 22, 2012 for the most part everything seems to be running good.... moving around loads faster, keep getting the multiple windows open thing, but I was getting that before.attack logs seem to be a bit better to view. I think that the heat thing was the only issue. Of course most the improvements i'm noticing are prolly because going from a single core processor to a quad core and from 2 gigs of ram to 6 gigs lol Quote
Miq Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 IE messes with standards as do all other browsers and i rarely see a website that gets 100% in a valitator. For example Magicduel opening page: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=magicduel.com&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0 26 errors Quote
Liberty4life Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 dude, that doesnt have anythin to do with browser, that validation is sheer validation of code, in other words it says that md first page has 26 errors from standards in order to check how good does specific browser satisfy standards you do test like this Quote
Miq Posted November 23, 2012 Report Posted November 23, 2012 IE, FF, Chrome and even Opera match the reference 100% If a pages fails against standarts then how is a standart complient browser supposed to display it? Quote
