Burns Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 Of course. Mostly to provide quest rewards, a few for sale, and some for my own use. Quote
Root Admin Chewett Posted March 11, 2013 Root Admin Report Posted March 11, 2013 yes and no are mutually exclusive for this... its stupid having it as a selection. Similarly having it being a checkbox is foolish. yes - i wanted more skill and was bored. dst and Ivorak 1 1 Quote
Shemhazaj Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 yes. Used them to make consumables, for RP, to gain stats, for gifting... prolly few more reasons if I thought harder. Quote
lashtal Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 I mostly went for bones and skulls. I find digging as much as entertaining as fishing.. Moreover, you don't have to deal with water and bones are usually less sneaky. Quote
Grido Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 yes, stones primarily. For profit and gifts. Quote
Nimrodel Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 To collect, to use in making tea, to give them away to those who had need, to store them for future creations (sand castle), use them in trade. Quote
Valldore Nal Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 Yes, out of curiosity the first time, for stat gain and an attempt to make a profit afterwards, for gifting and sometimes out of boredom. Quote
AmberRune Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 Yes To play with the gathering tool, gather resources to use, to have enough resources for some quests, and stuff like that Quote
nadrolski Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Yes, because it is part of my job as one of the Water Dowsers Quote
Tarquinus Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Yes. I want herbs for tea, and the flowers are a nice by-product. It would be interesting to discover other uses for herbs, too. Quote
Change Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 I remember taking a water bucket, trying to use it and then not being able to. Then I felt guilty for taking something that I couldn't even use. (My first experience with resource gathering) Recently I've been harvesting herbs since I've realized how exactly they're used for tea. Quote
Eagle Eye Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Yes, because im a woodcutter Quote

DarkRaptor Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Yes. Mostly to try the system and also to gather skill. Quote
Mallos Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Yes. Usually for the fun of it or just to not let them go to waste (like fenths). I usually hand them out to random people shortly afterwards. Quote

Pothos Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Yes, it saves alot of time, hassle, and especialy money to simply harvest the resources myself, rather than trying to haggle them off others. Quote
