So...shall we vote? or just provide the list to Mur and let him choose? (although he asked us).

Oh wow! You really don't appreciate an honest person! (yeah, like I care about that). Anyways, seems like I painted a target on Miq's back (sorry Miq). @Pazur:that was exactly what I was looking for: a reaction to confirm my theory. Thank you! (pssst: yes! you got it! I want Miq to have the keys so we can spend time together (Grido, you're not reading this!)). Now serious:an npc would be the best idea but since there is none a solution must be found. Kyphis is too popular but I would vote for him nevertheless. Fryd...hmm...maybe. We can't discard players for being in alliances. That shows they are involved.
4. You're not actually getting that xp. It's an inadvertence of the fighting system...
5. As far as I remember, the total score was posted just once. And I agree that the score is odd but it's not impossible. It can be done.

Yeah and Necro is a new version of Loreroot (except maybe 2 or 3 people who have no power of decision and except from jester who lately was inactive - and I will not comment on this because everyone has his/her reasons). Let's not hide behind words and titles. LE: I got it from the first time . No need to tell me twice
7. Psst Shadow! This is the score from this round! You would be amazed to see the total score.
8. No Shadow, it's not the total score. It's the score from this round. Darigan,I don't get it: what's the problem?

Ah, I remember her now (I think). She the noob that used to write huuge posts on the forum that I never had the patience to read. She's waaay to new for a job like this. Pazur is really a great guy except for the fact that he's Loreroot's guy . And I doubt he will be able to oppose Loreroot's will. So back to square 1 for me: Miq or Yoshi. Kafuuka would be the best possible choice but yes, I doubt he will want the job. He values his freedom too much and I respect that.

Yrth, that's plain bs . According to your logic (and phantasm as well) I should get the item phantasm had/has for running the GGG. Why? Because the players are sent into UG which according to both your logic is MY territory. Or at least I should have as many rights over it as a player who is affiliated to MDA. In this case nor phantasm nor Chewett would be entitled to the item. I will be honest since I have nothing to lose or gain from this. I don't trust phantasm not to influence Saphira in her decisions. And as far as I know phantasm he will "help" certain players using his influence over Saphira (btw:sorry if I misspelled the name). Oh and I have another nomination if you want: Yoshi.

Because choosing Tribunal was pure chance. You had no contribution into this . And of course you cannot make her deny anyone but you can make her accept (this is a bit of exaggeration but I have to smack you with your own weapons). As you could see, I propose someone that has no connection to me. Why can't you be objective about this?

Hmm...let's see"
it should be a less popular, but devoted character. No celebrity will get the keys. Player should not have any significant Alts, He should have enough active days, and should show from previous activity that he is involved and cares
I nominate Miq. In my opinion he is all the above.

phantasm, stay out of the sun cause it hurts your brain! I did not make this topic so I will get the keys! Elthran was a good choice back then. But he stopped playing. We need someone who is truly neutral. Not phantasm, not Keith not Pample. You don't give the flock of sheep to the wolf for god's sake! LE:Pample and Keith, are you going to pay for the usage of the room or since Elthran was away you'll consider it a gift or something...?

@phantasm:I am as good as Sephira at keeping the keys if you ask me As for the money: they should go to Mur. It was pure chance that Tribunal was chosen. I was pleased with the current setup. Too bad Elthran stopped playing.
17. That's your opinion cause you have a special relationship with him. But from the outside the things look a bit different. Until proven otherwise I will stand for my opinion. Anyway, I wanted to ask something today but I forgot:should limits be set to what you can do RP wise+game mechs in case something similar happens? Or at least some let's say negative measures for the ones that use such tactics? Or...are there consequences for such actions? Do I make sense? Cause I am trying my best right now...
18.
dst, this is the only part of your post that is worth responding to, because it is accurate. Thank you for the feedback. Edited for clarity
Actually Tarq my whole post is accurate but it shows you into a bad light so if you continue I might dig up some more dirt about you and you're not man enough to take it And back on topic: @Pamplemousse: so you were the Puppet Master . Niice. I am glad it was you. This shows that not men run MD . And this explains the lack of mannerism tarq showed. Just one piece of advice: next time choose a better lackey to run the show. It will benefit everyone greatly Good job girl!
19.
one question.. if everything that's ok with game mechanics is allowed, why then are accounts with offensive names being deleted?
Cause there are rules against it. As for items and killing players we have none. And to be honest I don't mind it. It's in the game? Yes. You can use it? Yes. Then use it. BUT don't go making a big fuss about it (aka quest that involves both RP and game mechanics). Tarq:I am not the latest critic. I am one of the first and probably the one who does something about it. I don't just sit on my tail and rant And forgive me for thinking your role is that of a mannered knight. It is not. It is just part of it. You play also the Casannova, the Puppet Master, the Spy, the <insert other roles in here cause I run out of ideas>. To go far into your role? To see what? Your cheesy RP with some of the MD women and then you hiding under their skirts when you get caught saying that they made you do it? (remember you post where you "confessed" how some of the female players initiated you into cyber sex in MD?) I preferred to think of you as I said above and forget all the nasty stuff but seems you don't let me. And why do you think I did not go into a corner and cry? Can't you see how sensible I am? Now seriously:it's easy to say:"Had you continued to be involved, you would have been considered for a reward" AFTER the whole thing was over. But your reaction to my input was a bad one. If I would have continued I would have probably messed the whole thing. But that's not why I didn't and actually it's not important why I chose to stay out. There is a saying:"after the battle many heroes appear". After the quest you come and say things like this that neither me or you can prove. Let's just don't do it. It's an insult to my intelligence. Fact is and remains:you succeeded cause you took advantage of a player's good nature.Congratz! I would probably have done the same BUT with one slight difference: I would have not tried to pose as the "good guy" who does good quests and mixes RP with game mechanics. Don't get me wrong: the main idea of the quest was good but the implementation sucked. I am not good at constructive criticism cause I usually use bats instead of velvet gloves but you're a smart boy and you'll know what I want to say (besides...my English has flaws and I might not always say what I want to say). So...all in all good luck with your next RP+game mechanics quest! Hopefully I will have the time to participate.
20. We have a saying Firs: the head that bows will not be cut by the blade. This is Mya's case. She chose to act in a certain way which led the quest to success. Wasn't that the main goal? If the questers need to thank someone they should be thanking Mya. Without her "good nature" as you pointed out, none of this would have been possible. Don't get me wrong:I did not post this to point out Mya's flaws (or virtues - you consider it a virtue and I consider it a flaw but we can discuss this in another topic ). I just wanted to point out that in my opinion the way the quest was started was rude. It was rude because the victim was not asked. It was rude because this incapacitate her for a while. Her luck were the torches. Without them I bet I would still see her ghost at GOE. How can you do that to your own alliance colleague (alliance=all loreroot since I usually see all of you as one big, probably happy family)? How can you orchestrate such a rude thing when your role in the game is that of a mannered knight? (this was pointed to you Tarq) Sorry but I can't get out of my mind the image of Mya with strings attached. Luckily all ended well and most participants had lots of fun. But next time I expect more from Loreroot since you call yourselves MD's RPers ps:Tarq, don't be afraid to name me when you talk about the "group of people in the game who seem to despise roleplaying" I can take a hit. I am a big girl
21. After the Ap was shut down and the little private chats were killed I remembered that we already have a place for such chats. Then I realized I haven't seen the keys keeper in ages! I know he left some keys to few people. Several questions arise: - how can someone else get the keys? - who will moderate the "giving" of the keys? - who will cash in the silver every player has to pay for using the bedroom? Or will Sunny Bedroom become the Clouded Bedroom? Topic made into Poll - Grido Poll closed. See the second poll thread.
22. And now a word from someone who attempted to participate in the quest but was shut up after the first post. The quest was a success (at least from the point of view of some) JUST because Mya played along. She is the perfect subject. She never says no, she obeys anyone that knows how to tell her to do things or her leaders. She's the ideal "puppet" (sorry Mya but you are). I have to agree with Z:if this would have been played on me, I doubt something good would have come out of it. And this is probably the case for most of the players. Nobody in his/her right mind (except Mya) would have agreed to this WITHOUT knowing it in advance. Players usually have personalities (of course there are also some regrettable exceptions) and probably don't like to be (sorry for the phrasing) taken for a fool. Using game mechanics is no excuse, at least in this case. Why? Cause I used the game mechanics to find who the killer is and what's the murder weapon. I posted on the forum and all the reactions were negative. Care to explain where's the difference between the 2 actions? Z, this has not set a precedent. Because if you replicate the environment BUT using a different victim the chances for the quest to fail are huge. And I doubt something like this will be set in the future without asking the victim first. Cause it's rude. It's PLAIN rude. ps:
at least I got what I wanted:the WPs went also to people outside LR which means that my little rant had a bit of effect
23. Uhmm...look what I have found.... Ode To Tomatoes by Pablo Neruda The street filled with tomatoes, midday, summer, light is halved like a tomato, its juice runs through the streets. In December, unabated, the tomato invades the kitchen, it enters at lunchtime, takes its ease on countertops, among glasses, butter dishes, blue saltcellars. It sheds its own light, benign majesty. Unfortunately, we must murder it: the knife sinks into living flesh, red viscera a cool sun, profound, inexhaustible, populates the salads of Chile, happily, it is wed to the clear onion, and to celebrate the union we pour oil, essential child of the olive, onto its halved hemispheres, pepper adds its fragrance, salt, its magnetism; it is the wedding of the day, parsley hoists its flag, potatoes bubble vigorously, the aroma of the roast knocks at the door, it's time! come on! and, on the table, at the midpoint of summer, the tomato, star of earth, recurrent and fertile star, displays its convolutions, its canals, its remarkable amplitude and abundance, no pit, no husk, no leaves or thorns, the tomato offers its gift of fiery color and cool completeness. Oh and another thing:Mur, remember zen? Now you have it combined with tomatoes!!!!
This has been proposed before and it had been turned down. If you look in the new ideas section you'll find several topics about it (me too lazy now to search for them).
