  1. (: Firban! My good fellow, tell me when you want to hear a good tale again. We can talk over beer (figuratively, of course) about my latest profitable venture over the Ghalen border and catch up on all the things that've happened. I hear things are stirring up badly over in your country. . . Well, err, anyway, pass by anytime, I always have a good tale for you and yer folk, eh. (Oho! ohohoho, I get into the whole role when I get a chance) I had to edit it a lot to make it seem not too enthusiastic and lame. Oh well.
  2. Well, I know there that "Players may use whatever methods to get their highest scores, this contest is to observe player behavior" thing, but it's pretty apparent now (to both me and other players) that the amassing-heads-then-logging-out-method is really rather working so well that it's now almost impossible for the other players to catch up unless more heads are automatically given to players; No One currently holds almost 4000 heads and a score 1k above his current greatest competitor. I don't know how many heads there are overall, but everyone on the board has next to nothing (in heads) compared to him. If he holds most of the heads, then he can just stay offline for the rest of the competition and win because everyone else will not have the heads to catch up. You could say it's okay as it's his working strategy that allowed him to win, but then again. . . I don't know how it would be made more even though, since the having-people-logged-out-with-heads-be-able-to-be-attacked thing is also easily abused. And then there's the people rolling over from previous MP levels with a great score near the end, as Northlord did last competition from MP3 to MP4, allowing him to get 3rd place. This might be considered unfair because successive MP levels are harder to gain heads in, but then again, having someone who fulfills the requirement of the next MP level staying and picking on his/her current MP could be unfair too. Hmm. About Navaja, the girl who suddenly appeared on the board with 2k in score and 0 in heads--I'm not sure which way this happened (I hear that she was in storymode when Manu wiped off the old score and Manu missed her, but it also might have been that she got that score in MP4 and then rolled onto MP5), but this also seems unfair. ): I'm not too passionate about all this stuff because I'm not even trying for this competition, but thought I'd just type down my thoughts.
  3. If you're confused about why you lost your ritual when you didn't set it to defend, that would be because if there is a lack of rituals set to defend then the last ritual made and on the list is used instead. As for the ritual you set for defense that wasn't used, when there is less than 301 vitality in a ritual, it autoassigns a random one; I don't know if that's what happened for you. But yeah, the having to make rituals only by attacking others is kind of a hassle, although it's not that big of a deal for me and I even kind of consider it a way of just making the game more challenging for me (like when I'm running around with 100 heads and without a defense ritual). As for the template thing--well, that might be nice, but it also doesn't seem necessary.

): That might've happened to me once or twice, I think. There was also another topic (here and here) a while ago complaining the same thing. For some reason, though, it's been giving me all my proper boni for a while lately, maybe because I've had to switch from Firefox to IE.
  5. Pfft, I scoff at your "real" emoticons; they're yellow, and bulky, and not at all how I would imagine them to appear (well, for most of them; I don't mind , , , and (and no offense to the creators/people who chose them--people like MB here appreciate them still). Look here, when I insert a "(:," that's how I want to convey my feelings, not with some blob like, . You get that, do you? There's an eloquence to the emoticons I use, all the nuances of meanings held in two, simple and aesthetic characters. . . Something that cannot be conveyed with these yellow blobs! My emoticons are superior. Err, anyway, to not completely ignore the nature of this topic, I guess I'll just insert "Hallo and welcome (:," again.
  6. Whut?! What are you talking about? Romania's cool, eh, vampires and gothic buildings, cool (well, that's, err, stereotyping, really). Been part of the Roman Empire and the Ottoman Empire and all those eras, hnn. You no-taste no-differentiating person.
  7. Well, I agree it could be proofread a bit and all, but I don't think it's /that/ messy that people can't get which character every entry is focusing on (although some complained earlier); there's a heading for every one and there's context. . . DX And it's all connected, so it is one storyline, sort of, so I think it's fitting for all of it to be listed together. I suppose the colorcoding and options of viewing can't hurt, though.
  8. It means you've collected 35 heads. XP There's information you can read about the Heads Contest by clicking the "Challenges" link at the top;most of the rules are in the trophy contest's progress page.
  9. Hallo and welcome. Feel free to ask questions, and I'm not from Bulgaria.
  10. Hnn. :') Generally for the other player, as it so happens. You should draw fanart of Dark Marind. Just a thought, you know.
  11. 1. I don't quite agree with you, because those weak rituals are a strategic defense of which most can be beaten anyway. 2. Hmm, I get what you mean, but then it's like requiring the top players to play almost all the time or otherwise have their heads taken. 3. I don't think safe zones exist if you have more than 6 already. 4. Maybe, except the top 8 scores isn't bad either, to show who you have to beat, how long it would take if the heads were static, etc.
  12. I think that might be because Morgana's RPCness makes it so we can't see her stats and stuff. I mean, it couldn't possibly be because Morgana's not going to step up to a challenge, right?
  13. What are you saying? Eh? Saying that my logs weren't good use of creativity, eh? Well, really, it didn't take that much effort. If I wanted to, I could animate it so that the text for the battle log would scroll, and the circles would show some action, or make it one of those larger, actual true things where you have like, 50 characters to make this circle. That's effort. Ah, Flash. You see, I experimented a little with that when I was like, 10 or 11. Didn't work out quite well, stupid button. . . *bad memories* Maybe I could figure it out now, but it was frustrating back then, and I quit once my dad stopped asking me to try it out with him. So back it was with Animation Shop 3 and (really) old-fashioned system of making frames. I fooled around with HTML/CSS coding back a few years ago, if that counts. Don't really know anything though. @Yami: Win, eh? Win for the Other Player. DX If you read carefully you can see that I'm the loser. :') Modeled it off of my repeated experiences, I did.
  14. Well, isn't that nice. D: I'm sure the Commander would be touched by this idyllic scene. I'll contribute now. This is the extent of my fanart: And yes, I did screenshoot it and all of that, so it can be realized as a true piece of art rather than some text. . . Nah, just kidding, MD posting-thing doesn't register some spaces and etc. Made it in word, and I wouldn't want to stick on a word document here, would I? And don't you complain that it's not accurate and to scale. D:< Don't you see? This is glory, this a true, authentic piece where all the tools you have are keys! Do you get that?! Well, for all you no-taste people who want something that resembles the real thing more, you can have this piece of junk: Much uglier, an abomination made with text boxes. :l Could make it more accurate and all, but I've spent way too much time on this already. And here is an unnecessary screenshot where you can contrast and see the light, plus see its glory in the setting of Open Office: All right. . . I went overboard with this whole thing. x_x
  15. I don't have it. Is it because you have to purchase a certain number before you get that option? I'm using Firefox.
  16. Well, there was just one part of the riddle that mentioned a quest, and I assumed that was referring to the Beserker's (dunno if that's a spoiler). But yeah, I suppose you're right. And I did neglect an explanation.
  17. I don't quite think "answer" fits as perfectly as a clue, just on the part about it being the "piece to a larger scheme." It's more the scheme than the piece. But it does fit well enough, I suppose. I also heard another person complaining about how there were too many possible answers and it was like a game of guessing. I had a close answer too, just made it too exclusive, a specific clue. . . I suppose that makes it not the right answer. :l But in any case, if an answer /did/ fit the riddle that the maker was not thinking of, but if it fits just as well or better, I think it should be accepted with an explanation. And about the important areas part. . . well, I don't know how important areas made accessible by a quest would be, but I can't say I wouldn't be disappointed if I wouldn't be able to get into it.
  18. I thought my answer (clue to Beserker's Quest) fit pretty well, but it wasn't it. Oh well. ;l Stupid MB. . .
  19. I do believe I know the answer to the one in your profile, Morgana. I'll be PMing you now.

    bug report

I see meself! I got that error occasionally in Firefox too. Not sure if I do in IE, but I always just refreshed and never bothered trying to figure out why it was.
  21. Have you played Summon Knight? The drills they have, I used those Not an MMORPG, though. But the drill was my choice.
  22. Hnn, I have one for the moment. It'll be gone soon, I foresee. But still! Ohohoho!
  23. You know, though, in the end I think the power originated from the continuance of belief and hope in Gurren Lagann.
  24. Drill power! Forgot the phrase they used for the ever-evolving thing that humans have, though.
