  1. I would like to point out that I don't want masses of people streaming into the Archives and trying to fill its shelves yet. Not until I have a firmer control on how it's working. If you want to have a look, browse, but don't try anything unless you've spoken to the Archivists first, please.

    Thanks

  2. Neutral or not. Morals or not. Pay-to-hire or not. How many times does it have to be pointed out that No Man's Land is NO Man's Land? Cut throats or saints. Doesn't matter. Bodda bing, bodda boom. It's not a place that those things happen. Alliances give territory bonuses. No Man's Land is NOT a territory. It's completely neutral. When Alliance members walk on that land, they don't feel any influence at all. Not healing or damaging of VE or VP.

Didn't mean to try and slaughter this idea...just saying that placing it in No Man's Land is a big no no. The idea itself is...interesting...though, I don't think it's really all that new of a concept. This is essentially a call for an alliance centered on ome. Problem is, now people want to get actual payments instead of RPed payments...this is a roleplaying game you know? You don't have to get wishpoints or credits or RP points to say you were paid... If you want something, ask them for it, and maybe they can get it. Other than that...I kind of agree with dst...it would become chaos..

  3. I'm now working very hard at getting the Archives completely up and running, but it's taking a lot of effort. I need writers and editors to start finding an Archivist in the game, most likely Logan Marquis, and applying to help out. I can also be PMed.

I don't just need writers, though. What I need most are people who are studying something, and keeping track of what they've discovered. The Archives will host many things that pertain both to MD and the real world, so scholars that have something to say, by all means: say it! Let us know what's going on out there. We need articles explaining the basics of biology, chemistry, mythology, philosophy, history; YOU NAME IT!

If you've got questions, ask them, and we'll try to answer to the best of our abilities. The project largely just has a direction right now, so not everything is clear. But, what is clear we will work with.

    Thanks,

  4. I did not ignore your comments. BUT, I cannot really do too much about it. The point is not to make this awesome, twist and turn plot that no one can follow until the very end and then it all wraps up. It's to make a fun story that people can get into, and involve themselves in the game with. The Adventure Log is not just there for you to read and criticize the grammar. It is there to encourage you to involve yourself in the game, and find your place among the roleplaying community. It's hard at first. There are a lot of ideas floating about, so not all of them can be chosen. But, that only means they aren't chosen for the AL. If you still choose to RP your part, that's your choice, and when it grows in time, you might just get that AL entry you wanted so long ago. It's not just a story because it is at least partially restricted to what players do in the game. Past that, it's all perspective.

  5. >.> I can't have so many threads running at once Pen. The story is confusing enough with 5 branches right now. The Adventure Log really isn't just a random mentioning of things..I'm actually trying to create a story from it with the things that do happen. Just making a list of people who got updated would make it kind of the same thing as the thread where Manu tells us who got what...As they become part of the story, they will get integrated, but I can't just randomly throw everyone in at once. At the end I may make a post where the Festival comes to an end and many people gained wonderful things, view list >here< but not yet.

  6. Okay, I'd like to point out that now I'm going at about 4-5 posts a day. I can't move faster than this. It won't leave room for proper development. And, I won't sit on to keep updating it all day for everyone. They tend to get updated around 11:30 am CST (GMT-6)

  7. Before you guys get too out of whack with the angiens giving "light" business. When he says "please light...please light.." he's still trying to get his drachorn to light the wood on fire. He's not calling out for that light. ^_^
