If there are so many people that are "suffering" because of dst, why aren't they posting here? More importantly, what can dst actually do to you, or anyone? MD is a game on the internet, one of many in fact. It's also one that allows you to make more than one character if you wish to escape into anonymity.

You keep bringing up your mod demotion, so I'll try and clarify: People complained about you, you're the only one complaining about dst (as far as I know, it's just a guess) Second, sarcasm in writing just doesn't work. Third, I believe Chewett means that Shoeps doesn't play as actively as before, or maybe just that he isn't GM anymore.

Fenrir, that's like asking Chewett to stop posting on the forums, or asking Peace to stop being...Necro-y. It's what she does, and it's her choice, so unless you have a way to MAKE her do something (ie. give a valid reason other than "dst is mean to people she doesn't like"), you aren't going to get anywhere.

Fenrir, I believe you're someone who believes in speaking the truth, as you see it, no matter what others do or say? Why should dst be any different? More importantly, what's to be gained from making this topic?

No one said it wasn't allowed, it just won't receive much public support from people who disagree with it.

The only reason you did get that many points was through cheating, and you said yourself you don't agree with the cheating, so basically, you're contradicting yourself, by congratulating everyone for cheating. It's all good that you're working together and everything, but please do it in a way that doesn't ruin the point of torch contest(land vs. land, not "let's go grab another land's torch") No offense intended to any Lorerootians.

I voted that it's fine to encourage others to find bugs, BUT not so they can just give them to someone else instead of reporting them. If you want to give them a reward for finding the bug, go ahead, but don't reward them so that you can (ab)use it, figure it out yourself (and, of course, report it). In the second poll, I voted that no, it shouldn't be shared. If someone can't find a bug in the first place, why should they just have it given to them? More importantly, imagine if someone found a way to increase attack by huge amounts. What would happen if they shared it? Very unbalanced fighting, and more work for Mur with resetting stats. In the end, it's just a big mess that doesn't make anyone happy.

Just make it different every day. If someone's offended that their culture isn't included, they can suggest it.

I liked to see historical dates on the calendar, personally. I find those sorts of things interesting. So, a mixture of historical things and MD things would fill up the calendar nicely, I think.
