since this is just my suggestion and not totally a new idea, i dont know if it belong to the Idea board, so i put it here instead.

these are only examples, just assume all names here are nonallied:

MRI: win 1500 / lose 1500
AmberRune: win 2500 / lose 2500

now the situations (based on nondamage battle. honor value are not accurate, just want to point out the positive and negative state of value):

MRI vs AmberRune: MRI win : MRI get 0 honor while AmberRune get -1 honor
MRI lose:MRI get 0 honor while AmberRune get 0 honor

AmberRune vs MRI: AmberRune win: AmberRune get 0 honor while MRI get 0 honor
AmberRune lose: AmberRune get -1 honor while MRI get 0 honor

then Pothos who move to mp5 with 2600 wins / 2000 loses, will absolutely become huge target since MRI and AmberRune will get nice honor out of the fight against Pothos. those 600 losses that Pothos need just to get balanced so he/she can stop getting negative honor when attacking MRI and AmberRune will surely drain his/her current honor, probably deep into negative side. not only that, defending against other mp5 with lower win counts will give Pothos negative honor as well.

bottom line is, at the moment, someone are at disadvantage if they got huge number of win counts when they're defending whether they're balanced or not. so, what i want to suggest is, when the win/lose ratio is the same for both attacker and defender:
1) ones shouldnt get negative honor when defending against others that have lower win counts
2) ones shouldnt get negative honor when they attack and lose against others that have lower win counts

As many of you have noticed, a certain individual had used the word "gay" as a form of insult on the Moodpanel. In reaction to this, others have blown up and responded to this form of "insult."

This post is in response to both parties, for they are both EQUALLY WRONG.

Being "gay" is not an insult. For either party to take think this, is just disgusting. Those who have endured years of torment for their sexual preference should be admired, not pitied, or made fun of. They chose to be outwardly DIFFERENT. They could have hidden their desires and done things the "normal" way, but they hadn't. They chose the hard life, and that life means they are happier.

For those of you who call people "gay," think about yourself for a moment. Have you ever done something so courageous as defying one of Society's most important rules? Not likely.

For those of you who pity those who are "gay", where do you get off pitying them? Protecting them? This is just as big an insult to these people. They do NOT need protecting, nor to be coddled.

Once again, being "gay" is not a BAD thing.

I bought both feature and it's working fine. Just that when i do a shop reset, they appear again in the shop which is kind of weird since i dont think we need it again because both of that features only does 1 thing each without level of effect.(unless there is which i dont know because i havent buy them for 2nd time). the reason i'm making this post is because of the features is there and it blocks me from buying the additional logs features. it will be a waste if i have to buy those 2 feature that actually doesnt do anything when bought for 2nd time just to clear the path to get to logs feature. perhaps they should not appear again after we bought it the first time?

When confronted, he openly admits he is abusing it and its there for everyone to abuse.

I have PS, Ailith and Pips and The Phoenix as witness he insists on continuing to take all heads with no rits.

Would it be bad if Heat Transfer get enabled on mp6 as well? It's just that all spells available at mp6 only have 20 casts per day, so most of the time, i got my erolin device shining with 4400 heat in it(while all 6 little ones already filled ) So, while serving my fellow worshipers and adepts when they need it, i think the extra heat should be able to be turn into something useful like Loyalty points(since it's needed when we want to buy stuff in mdshop).or perhaps, make it that all mp6 automatically worship Mur and can send him all the extra heat??

So you know everyone in MD in real life? How do you decide who would say things to your face, and who wouldn't? Or do you just generalize and do it to everyone?

Because it was to appear as if I didn't have a hand in it. And it was complicated trying to keep the people that needed to be a part o it informed without telling then the whole story wa a challenge. I knew some of them would tell their friends what was happening and thus influence the ending to their liking.

Chewett, knock it off. I was trying to plan something, but you know what happened? Peace left md, yrth didn't have time, cryxus pulled off that stunt with the caretakers and then above all else I got sick and tired of everyone in md.

I think tokens should become more rare. Completly tokened creatures (exspecially drachorn's) have became face roll creatures, no matter what you do, you win anyway.

I feel like making the tokens more rare, let's say that all sort of creatures have a certain amount of tokens they can have, like 2 or 3, which should not be acuired easily. It now costs only md credits, let it cost huge amount of vitality, honour, silver or age.


let's say that you can buy a token only one every 20 days, this reduces the amount of tokens hugely, and if tokens also grow stronger over time, so let's say a good token gains his full potential only afther 100 days. this way someone with tokens is stronger, but takes longer and will be less tokenend.

ps: therefor I still think the power of tokens should be reduced, but that's an almost impossible unfair proces for everyone who bought tokens so far..

oowh: en there should be abilities that neglect tokens, creature or tokens, so that it does not always mean that the tokened side wins

Yes, because honestly, what I think would help, is usually good. I have bad ideas every once in a while, but I'm only human.

I think that the GGG should be used only by MP5 players, and the Sparing ground for MP3 and 4.

But wait. Noone cares.

GGG is an intresting place, and for it to get to the point where people are saying its the reason MD is failing means its done pretty well.

Some people use it to farm wins for their angiens, Some use it for the stats, and some just use it for some easy wins to get them out of Skill Damage.

Because it is so useful i can defaintely see it being "reset" somewhere else if Mur one day decided that it wasnt allowed because its useful for people to sit there gaining tons of wins and a few stats.

Unless there was a way to redirect the traffic somewhere so that it would be both fun and easy to find someone you can have a GOOD fight with, Then places like this will grow. I walk around MD looking for someone i can kill, And only find the Statgrinders at GOE who will 0-round kill me, and anyone else who idles outside on par with those stat grinders.

There is no way i can kill someone who is outside a Sanct in normal MD because they are the ones who have spent years and millions on the MD shop to get them every token possible.

So unless you find a way to make people stay outside sanctuaries or make it so i can fight poeple that are on par with me, There is no way that the GGG and places like it will go away. Because people want to be able to train without losing all their vit in one battle.

You know what lets go ahead and remove GGG. Lets continue to remove every single thing that anyone sets up in MD because a few people have an issue with it.
Actually, lets just go ahead and remove MD altogether. There's obviously not enough people for a certain few to pound on, so lets remove it so they can go elsewhere and do that. ANd lets face it, RP is rubbish and anyone that even attempts to RP is a waste of space and they should obviously spend there time wandering around with giant bullseyes on their backs. Infact, before we do that lets set those people's stats to 1 billion in everything so that they can feel good about themsleves for 5 seconds.

MD is Boring.

Others think it, I said it. Now lets look at the biggest problem with why MD is now Boring.

First: GGG

The GGG is ruining MD. People sit there all day long and farm 0 damage wins. Wins are supposed won. Not given. Stats are not to be given so freely either.

After dst's post stating what is really wrong with MD, it opened my eyes. I have come to realise that the GGG is bad for our community.

So I ask, is it a good idea to get rid of the GGG in order to bring back the original style of training by attacking others with real rituals?

To start with, i want to stress that i have no troubles whatsoever with people creating mp3-alts to see who's better at the min-maxing game AS LONG AS THEY KEEP THAT TO THEMSELVES.
Then, here's the question: if there is no limit, where's the point? the whole cap-thingy has been lead ad absurdum with xp-free wins, and when there is no maximum to get out of it, it's no minmaxing... so, in my opinion, it's not even an interesting game, it's just 'who spends more time at his computer'. But i guess that's up to you to decide.

Access to big creatures? I'd laugh, but it's actually rather making me cry when i hear that kind of things. The concept of the xp-cap is stopping you from getting actually strong creatures on mp3, if you think a rit with three drachorns is the end of the food-chain, why, then you'd probably better stay on mp3, anything else would shatter your illusions.

And just so it doesn't look as though i created that topic for nothing, here's what lady dawn says in response to that:

Obviously the grinding-elite doesn't manage to keep their tiny competition to themselves, no, they drag every newcomer into it by showing off their strenght and making people think that they need that kind of attack stat to play. Here's a newbie seeing one thing: 'OMG, that grasan attacks all and has 500 attack, i can't ever even think of beating it unless my attack is at least the same'

How is she supposed to know that a grasan with infinte attack gets smacked badly by various strategies? She can't know about them yet, the creatures are almost completely unavailable on mp3, to her, a creature with more attack than VE is simply unbeatable.

And then she goes on to think 'Holy Hell, if that's what i need to play on mp3, what would mp4 be like? How can i ever compete with them? I have to start grinding, too...'

How would she know that mp4+ offers ways to defeat insanely overpowered crits in an instant? Let alone ways that are really easy to walk upon, not some barely thinkable pro-stuff nobody but a few find out about...

So, yeah, i understand your point, you invested a whole lot of time into strategies that would be compeltely useless on mp5, so you won't advance, but don't give people the impression that a lot of attack would be necessary to successfully fight in MD.

Shadow that is backwards logic. The whole point to this is that MB is already open to all players, with select places that very few can access, where as the other lands are not accesible except to the select few. Now MB citizens can acces MB all they want, but don't have papers. If MB citizens get papers they should gain access to places others cannot go.

It's either that or lock the gates, and let noone in, and give the citizens passes.

I've noticed recently that there are a couple of members that are hoarding creation items and not even using them. They simply sit on the account of said person like a trophy. Mind you not all items need to be used but...

a few people seem to have oodles and oodles of items that could be handy to use in the item creation process but they are unwilling to sell or use any of them because they are...trophies?

I guess that's the best way to put it. Item hoarding to sit at the top of the 'Item owners' list.

Anything that can be done about this? I'm just curious, I have a couple of items that I'd like to make for some quests that require the use of steel or metal for instance, but almost all of those kind of items are considered to be valuable and are seriously seriously difficult to get ahold of.

A lot of raw materials seem to be hoarded by an inactive player, there could just be more items made but wouldn't that cause a kind of inflation and reduce the value?

Yes dst has verbally attacked me saying that was a bad ritual, and now she says i have a decent ritual.

Also dst has VERY MUCH Harrassed me about me sucking and now i dont
