Update!
 
The quest is undergoing re-structuring at the moment, so that I may hold it without the need for assistance from "higher powers". For those that are waiting for the quest. I am currently thinking about making the sermons a bi-weekly event, possibly with a different structure to prevent repetition and try and deliver something new every time. Suggestions? Would you be interested in participating, should I decide to hold the event every 2 weeks?

A coin for the ferryman

I am sorry but I could use a little bit more elaboration to how cement works in everyone's eyes. Cement to me requires sand water and cement mix. After that it is in constant motion to prevent it from settling. So where does the need for heat come into play here? My question is why is heat or fire needed for cement mixing purposes?

I would agree here, iv built a couple of (brick) walls before, and never used heat...

Another idea could be able to make fertilizer (i'm thinking similar to the recipe for tea) to speed up the regen of depleted resources. Say it's down to taking 3 days to regen, applying fertilizer could half that, or if it's at regular regen levels, then the next regen could produce 2 of the resource.
 
Downside would be it would take time to make, for example you have to let it set for 3-4 days to "ferment/compost" before using.

The whole point of gathering is ... just that : to gather. But one who doesn't pay attention and doesn't see cannot understand.
 
Look, there are some that gather creatures, why ? maybe because that's what they want to do with their time.
There are some that want to increase stats ... because ... maybe because they want more even if they are already very powerful.
There are some that gather spell stones, other gather creature tokens, independent tools, friends (see the tops), enemies, reputation, negative reputation. Each person has a reason even if they have a goal or not. Each one has a way to play this game.
 
So, you want to change this ... resource gathering, no problem, I think I can go back to mindless random/planned attacks. What is the worse thing that I could do ? just add a few k loses on the weaker players. How bad could that be ? I could go back to that.
 
On the other hand, one could "plant" resources. But that is too far out as an idea in MD. Too outrageous. Too new. It is better to follow the trend and limit stuff.

No One is really nice when it comes to requests like that, at least in my experience. I find it a lot easier to just go to him if I need something than to have to harvest something myself. I mean, hunting for things is sooooooooooo old school.
