    Land Promisory Notes - Silver and Gold
    Kings can now exchange silver or gold to promisory notes by requesting this to contact@magicduel.com (Council). They will have to transfer the amount of coins needed to a character they will be instructed to (Postman or an other carrier account) and provide proof of their transfer (log copy). There are only a fixed number of acceptable values: 10 Gold , 20 Gold , 50 Gold, 40 Silver, 100 Silver, 200 Silver. for now NO OTHER AMOUNTS will be accepted to be changed to notes. These notes help for fast transfers of large payments but also hold a different importance, a big one. They will be marked as a promisory note of that land. They are official equivalent of the declared amount and are usable anywhere where silver is, IF the seller doesn't say otherwise (in case of war for example). They are accepted for official md auctions, payments etc. They will be named in a standard way, plus land signature/name and will be of item type "valuables" just like coins. This means they will stack same as coins in your inventory. If a citizen wants to convert his coins to notes he will have to address to his king because for now only the king can request such a thing (will be influencing land economy). Council could assing dedicated roles for a better management of such conversions if the demand requires it.

    i simply dont understand what you mean by "cancel"
    remove? take away, destroy?to reverse?
    how much flexibility do we have anyway, or loyalty to the existing shape, why are you asking us to "cancel" this certain shape anyway :P just some things im thinking about
    cancel cancel cancel hmm...
    i choose circle again, this time around the square so that it "encloses" it. if the question was more geared to cancelling it, i would presume to place the circle inside the square

    The following challenge consists of fragments of a bigger thing. So try to do exactly what i say it needs be done.

    The lower part of the following symbol requires one single dot placed in a certain spot . The placing of that dot is of extreme finesse , please be sure you are placing it in the exact spot you intend to and not just in "the area" where it might be needed.
    It needs to be placed somewhere below the symbol.

    For your information, that dot if placed right acts as a half counter, it will actually counter the symbol (just the lower part) but will keep its power available"

    that last part is soo crypitc! why would you say it and what are you leading us to achieve!!? hmm...
    i just cant get over the fact that you have told us to ignore something when really you didnt have to draw it, just leave it out.
    if you "counter the object" along the top of the symbol, in a mirror you gets its reflection, maybe you are indicating that if you did that with this symbol, it would overlap onto your "ignore" section of the line. (duh just reread your post a couple of times and totally missed the instruction "it needs to be placed somewhere below the symbol"
    so its one line which splits into 2 at some way along it and underneath is a half circle. if the dot was placed and the image reflected from the bottom, including the dot you would get something like an eye.
    "counter but keep its power available" what on earth is this symbols "power" anyway...

    for me the power of this symbol as it is this way up signifies protection, the way the top semicircle "protects" the inner one.it also represents division. the strength in the picture though is the change from the straight line into two, there is a great contrast above and below it, and for me, that is its strength
    i wonder if "folding the image" to make it look like an eye will make it loose that strength. this vertical line has two directions here, two "journeys",

    like Rasiel said fortune telling was like putting a boulder in a stream and the water flows around it, parting,able to take two routes now knowing the knowledge but the overall direction is the same, the sea.
    for me that would counter this symbol but im not sure its "power" will still be available

    if its power is division, then it would still have that but the counter would be that it comes back together at the end

    my dot will be in the middle of the small semi circle, in the center of the horizontal line where you would be able to reflect it to form an "eye"
    this would also keep the idea of protection and the semicirle and dot both are "protected" by the outer casing of the other two. the "inner" dot would be proected, but also imprisioned, if it didnt wanna be there

    My immediate thought was a cirle, and immediate impressions are what count when you glance at a symbol i think,

    say if you asked that question to me with a play set and had 5 shapes in front of me, and i was asked to choose one
    star circle square triangle rectangle
    i would have picked the circle straight away

    in not even sure why because if i stop to think about it for a moment, say you gave me a small block of cheese and asked me to "sharpen" the rectangular square shape with a knife, i would probably carve a star if i had no time limit, and the prize for the best answer/entry won 10,000 pounds (cheese is too smelly to do for less :P)

    and if you gave me a tutorial on a computer program and asked me that question, and we had done a course of manipulating shapes in graphic design and stuff, CAD and that, i would do a 3D shape like you get at the bottom of a sea scan or somthing,or even go do something like this effect of a symbol

    if you "sharpen" something is real life, a pencil a kicthen knife, or a citrusy taste which is really really tangy, Ooo thats sharp!*shudders*
    sharpen? in my mind, not having to look at a dictionary, i would imediately think about the square as a table. my mother used to say to me "careful! the corners are sharp! stop running around" or something like that :P
    if i was asked to "sharpen" a circle though, from the blocks again, i would choose a star. i know the choices here are limited, but the idea is the same.


    just being ironic but let me try something

    if you had a "star" shaped symbol, boring-ified, if you asked me that, i would think a simple dot imediately but then would probably turn it into a square, because really that quite "neat" and boring. i think its because i think of manmade things with a square. a table, a brick, a house

    but then your first symbols to a flag, if i saw a red square like that, depending on what colour background, i would think of something like um..
    china: red on white symbol, or vodka "red square", red blood danger maybe,all those

    i wonder about people who arnt english, what they think about the word sharpen

    ok so i can decide if i want the choose a red circle as the answer, or a red star...where do i go from here...

    if you asked me to counter it, i would choose circle... but sharpen is different. the original object in real life doesnt change shape, the knife is still a knife!
    because of the way the shape is here, i would do soemthing different. i would "push" in on two opposite corners of the 2d flat square and turning it into a romboid, creating two edges with sharper angle then 90 degrees. it would be sharp and pointified :P

    here is my entry

    the first symbol. its looks aggressive and red to support an anger. it looks as if it is horns or probing antenna's.
    to counter the emotion and colour of this symbol i have used an opposite and cooling blue.
    the first symbol uses one line twisted and turned, but still one continuous line.
    my counter symbol uses one line in a different way "splitting" it into two equal parts and joining it again causing the blue "hollow" shelter cover and surround the red of the aggressive spikes.
    i think to keep a visual "balance"/tension i had the spikes coming through the blue "encasing"

    i cant stress how much i enjoyed reading your poem Phantasm, i think i only ever had that much enjoyment on here before from reading, and it was an entry of someones for your Story Quest thing, and someone had done a story about travelling from necrovion to the archives or something erk..

    anyway i think your lyrics are inspired

    Also love your entry Dante Falcon, really good fun

    and of course thanks to windy/sage for setting the scene nicely again, i so love watching ya :P

    im not making any profit from them if you consider how much money i spent on them :P but thats neither here nor there

    its a great avy and i love to see avy's fit the right person, so i think this is a really nice idea

    it upsets me when anything like this happens, to people in MD or not. I hope when you are ready or feel you can return that your friends will still be here, and im sure that they will.

    there not much that i can say, except i am terribly sorry for your loss and how it is going to affect your whole family, they must really need you right now.

    although i didnt know you too well in game, Keep strong.
