when i was storing avy codes in notepad i needed 2 or 3 words to remember them seperately and it got hard when they were similer

if i was to remember this poem, it would be recalled in my memory as "the poem with the yellow snow"
which is strange because you specifically said "stuff" and not snow. its the thing that sticks out for me as i generally wouldnt feel comfortable reading out a poem about wee socially. i think the word "stuff" forces us to question what it actually is, and ive heard the phrase before so i fill in the gaps ("dont eat yellow snow")
you guys are really clever, and im tryingt to understand what your saying
if i can just comment and "break down" a few ways in which i view the poem

for me it is a poem about contrasts, with your title of this forum post it leads me to see it in a certain way. where you say "broken down - to be renewed" i see it meaning phoenix rising from the flames. but i find the poem melancholic, as if seeing the years pass away rather then, seeing it as a new year and a fresh start.
i dont want to write an english lesson when really im not very good..here goes..

the redeeming nature of this melancholic poem about a man waiting for death, is saved by his memories and nice thoughts, not only does it "balance" it out so i dont want to commit suicide after reading it, it also seems to be one of the ways that the old man is dealing with his bad thoughts, by countering them with good ones of his own past

none of what ive just written is what i wanted to say really, all junky, thanks in advance for attempting to read it

basically a thoughtful reflective moan with a hint of resentment/bitterness, which softens to a waiting hum, when he reaches into the safety of his memories, "renewing" a senceof purpose and vigour even if thatis only by cutting the resentment out

even if i have made glaring errors in understanding the depth of the poem, this is what i would pick up from reading it, good fun!

In relation to your question, after reading and travelling through your poem i would answer

when we experience big loss such as death or a losing a good friend/partner it takes time to "renew" yourself, unlike the man here who is experiencing "hum drum" as he is waiting, he should be like the boy or the person baking bread. Not just melacholically looking back at his life (or in my example a relationship/marriage break up/ death) with pockets of nice thoughts amoung the bad, but actually Doing the baking and being the grandad, and getting out there

if he sits around and mopes at home, the years will flit by, he needs to create memories, new ones, which fade out all the painful bad ones

maybe because im sad at breakup that i see it like this, but its been enjoyable putting some thought down on paper

in no particular order...

Pamplemousse - my first friend here, a special person who at the time when i arrived, had time for everyone, not just me, interested in story writing (and very particular on spelling mistakes!!) and offering rewards for people who helped others with their papers. Havent really experienced her Citrusy wrath only the sweet scent of her grapefruity goodness. Leader of Team Citrus, truely deserving of Best Protector, who spent an AWFUL lot of time and patience with all her adepts not just me. The first person i RP'd with and made me feel warm and welcome in MD, helping me spread my wings for myself x

Ailith - When i had problems with people in MD i didnt know who to turn to. Ailith helped me with my problems (i dont know what she said...but it worked..thankfully.. or i wouldnt be here) friends with everyone and a big ear and even bigger heart. I dont know if it pained her to become tainted, im sure it was probably nessercey for her character to develop. I didnt like the change at first, and i believe she must sometimes miss being the person she once was, but change is nessercery for everyone, and to me, she will allways be the same x

Zleiphneir - Being lost and not "feeling" the love in MD for a few reasons, feeling alone i didnt have anywhere to turn. There was one person that was i knew would be there to talk with, whether he liked it or not!! he didnt have a choice to leave.. i could come and go when i pleased, and sometimes i felt rather selfish.. but you know we all have different friends..it would be impossible to keep in touch with all of them ALL the time. Taught me simple rules about hwat i should or shouldnt think about doing when RPing and helping me create a character i enjoyed playing, this is probably the person i felt most attached to when i first began the game. though a bit annoying and defensive when asking him a question (i call him a brick wall ) often asking a cryptic one back, one of the only people who made me look deeper into different parts of the game.

Peace - if i ever felt in an Intelligent mood, i would search to find Peace. Her understandng about principles and the ways and workings of Necrovian were an inspiration for me. Often she didnt say anything, and helped me think for myself. Annoying yet thoughtful stories/morals that she got from her father, still perplex me to this day, and to be honest make me feel a little stupid, because i cant understand them. She helped guide me to an answer i waqs satisfied with, talking with me for hours and hours at times, and i really really apriecated her time, and the way she went about "leading" me to an answer.

Ladytwin - Not knowing much about this perplexing character.. it doesnt matter. Friendly to everyone she is an inspiration for me. The time she has spent on this game and helping people, and just seeing her wave fury (her hair) around is just amusing and makes me smile. Constantly searching for something, allways a woman on a mission, yet having a LOT of time for people in the paper cabin, an LHO without being named as one. One of the people who has RP'd from the start and im sure will continue to do so.

(explanation)
The title is not an original title, im not sure it has a title. The poem i wrote when i was out in the garden(noted down on my phone) and i felt overwhelmed by the size of the sky, and the warmth from the sun.
The sun is important in this poem therefore it is capitalised, It needs to be spoken really, and it would be read very slowly emphasizing every word. if you read it like this you might feel the same way i did when i wrote it down,
Very short very simple, but makes me feel happy and remember the time when i wrote it.

I believe this relates to magic duel for a few reasons. As it is about being alone in a wide expanse but with the help of people around it can make life rich and fufilling, about how the security of a stable thing, a friend, can really impact you, about how things that should impact you, in a negitive way, (like the fears first evident when i first entered Necrovian) dont matter as in the end i did not do it alone, i had my friends to be there for me to explain what it is was really going on, and to support me in many things, even without them really knowing.



My Moon.

The moon is a face of someone you know, a friend, a lover, a dream.
Strange, it seems, how it comforts and consoles you with a lonely light.
A friend to everyone, yet close to none.
Sometimes it changes, not giving out as much light as before, but then you realise it still is and ever will be a constant, a thing that will always be there, that you can rely to be there when you need it to be. i love reading all these poems, too many really funny or nice bits to single em out, nice collection

i have read everything, and i saypeople seemed to be arguing out of nowhere.
the WP list was made available, and in a way this helps us all "moniter" whats going on, i think the ability should be set further into the game though. at a deeper age, purely for RP reasons. Pepole should learn that these things dont matter when you are a young age, there is amuch more to learn then knowing about these things.

However DST was totally right for bringing up any discrepancies hich were found, and if i was looking i would have done the same thning, i dont think this has Anything to do with a Loreroot based "attack".

ive been ivolved in something and i feel ashamed of it, although i should not. i would be willing for the WP to be taken away from me if they need to be, but it wasnt nessercery.
I dont want to go into it, because its not nessercery and the end of the matter reached as i was worried, myself recieving it i spoke with mur about it.

I am having a hard time at home recently, i can blame everyone or everything but i have been having RL problems which i cannot sort out at the moment. Mainly a safe enviroment to live, which has caused problems with my job, social life and everything else to do with that, i.e money etc.
Having spent hundreds of hours enjoying MD it is something which i need to get back into, but i cant when i can only come on and off and not dedicate my free time without getting hassled and stressed over it. It became and extra pressure and burden to worry about things which normally i was able to cope with. And i dont want to bring my issues into the game and spoil the happy go lucky character which i enjoy playin. a "character" which is in fact the way i mostly spend my life being like at work and when i socialise.

All this and at a time where being on MD is essential, where everyone gets together to celebrate and put "differences" aside, and come together as a community. I participated in two small contests and experienced the excitement of exploring the new area in the tribunal when it was opened, and those "small" things made me realise how much MD has to offer me still, and i intend to make it a big part of my life again when i have a safe place to stay and am comfortable in myself to play the game the way i want to and need to.

It hurts me a lot to think about what i have been and will be missing out on in this birthday celebration week, but that only reminds me of how much i have missed out on in the past two months, whilst i have been away trying to get my head together in my unsettled "state". My worst fear is that i would bring these problems into the game and ruin everything i have tried hard to create, let alone the fear of not being able to commit to even simple things such as contacting people and being there for them as they have for me.

Its not something that can be talked about or needs to be, just i need to "hold on tight" until i am able to appreciate and be in a situation where i can immerse myself without issues.
For me this isnt a "point and click" game where you can drop in and out where you can, it would only make me feel isolated and lost. I look forward to the time where i can just be myself again and commit, and i hope that time is near x x x x

My favorite avatar, and the avatar that I would choose if I had gold and silver to buy it and credits to upload it, would be the one that Kay drew.

There were many others that I liked, in fact, all. The idea of creating a tree out of words was imaginative, xrieg, and I wish it had come together a bit more elegantly.

So... I'm not sure where we go from here. Wait for Asterdai to come back? Feel free to contact me, Kay, if there is something else I can do without the support of Asterdai.

Who is Awiiya? He is more than what we see as the tree he has become.
He is very complex.

Perhaps think of Metaphors, or Philosophy.

Since it is Valentine’s Day, I would like to express to you how much I love you and how much I have been loving you everyday.

You say I never help out around the house and that I always ignore you when asked to take out the rubbish. In all truthfulness, I ignore you because of my undying love for you. I know that you have a fear of putting on extra weight. By making sure that you do all the chores alone, I am ensuring that you get all the exercises required to keep any extra pounds off. It is my way of showing you how much I love you.

I also intentionally keep the toilet seat up as a sign of my love. I know that you get annoyed whenever the seat is up. It is proven that getting annoyed burns calories, not to mention the extra motion required to put the seat down. See….. more proof that I love you.

ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING CAN BE CHANGED! I would love some better weapon suggestions

Disclaimer: The suspects are just people that everyone recognizes for right now, they can be easily changed.
Second Disclaimer: It's late for me, and I'm probably not going to explain this well. Also, this is my first attempt at doing anything, so we'll see how this turns out.

I've been thinking up a way for everyone to play a game of mutated Clue up in the MDA lands.
Here's what I've got so far.

Set up: Oh noes! Brulant was happily wandering through the MDA lands when he was snuck up upon and brutally murdered inside the Archive building! Now, it's your job to figure out "who done it"!

Rules:
1) At the beginning of the game a suspect, weapon, and location will be chosen and removed from the pool of available suspects, weapons, and locations.
2) The remaining suspects, weapons, and locations would then be distributed to the players of the game.
3) After the game begins, players will travel from location to location in an effort to find out which suspect, weapon, and location are missing from the pool.
4) Once at a location, players will PM other players in that location with an "accusation"
5) An "accusation" consists of a suspect, weapon, and location. THE LOCATION THAT THE PLAYER IS IN MUST BE INCLUDED AS THE LOCATION IN THE ACCUSATION.
6) Upon receiving an "accusation" the player looks through the suspects, weapons, and/or locations he/she knows
7) If they have a suspect/weapon/location that was included in the "accusation" they send a reply with the suspect/weapon/location included. YOU ONLY SEND ONE. If the player does not have any of what was guessed, they send a reply saying "Nothing"
8) After they receive the reply PM the original player marks it on their Detective Notes (which are included in this post)
9) In this way, the last things in each group that are not checked off are the correct suspect/weapon/location
(This may be getting confusing, bear with me)
10) You can only message one player once in a row. For example: I could not send Curiose three "accusations" in a row. But I CAN send one to Curiose, then to AmberRune, then to Curiose.
11) The game continues until someone figures out "who done it" and PMs me the correct answer. Please include in your subject that it's your final guess. If you are wrong, you are out of the game.

I think that the Detective Notes should help explain this, I'm attaching them to this post. The locations on the Detective Notes are the only locations in which you can send PMs


Someone already suggested coding some clickies to give hints (and red herrings! ) to people. Alas, I cannot code clickies, but it anyone could offer their skills it would be highly appreciated.

Also, there is really no prize since I have nothing to give. But, I think that it would be fun even without a prize, yeah?
Well… I'm probably forgetting something, but I'm too tired to remember it. Anyways. Feedback would be much appreciated, even if it's a, "Yeah, that could be fun."

So here it is:

Pick s a muse from the MD players (I don't care if it's someone of opposite sex or same) and write a story/poem/letter to that person in which you declare your love for her/him. Easy? Well..not quite.
There are 2 WPs to award: one for the must funny declaration (make me roll on the floor laughing) and one for the most cheesy, mushy, diabetes inducing and vomiting incentive declaration(for the second type of declaration...the more stereotypes and cliches it has, the better).

Contest ends next Saturday (hopefully I will have the time on Sunday to judge them).
