  1. I think what Marvolo proposed on a different thread about adding weight to the items and it affecting your action points is a very smart idea That way we could have a maximum amount of items we can use in order to be able to move around

I think it could be useful and fun for the role-play to have some standard items... like a fishing pole, a net, buckets, bags, cloaks, blankets, traps, hunting knifes, torches, masks, belts, gloves,... Perhaps it would be a good idea for the crafters to make also standard(simple) items (from raw materials) for silver coins, beside the special items (from raw materials and standard items) for the wishpoint What do you think ?

  4. hmmm so... there are no standard requirements and the raw materials are too hard to find and too expensive to get... --------------------------- Well ok it's understandable for special and new items to be like that but I think a crafter should also make a list with some standard items that he knows how to create and in time fill it with the new types of items he invents or creates for others As for the raw materials I think North is right there should be a shop for the standard raw materials (wood, steel, ...) --------------------------- In any case thank you for answering
  5. I was wondering if there is a list with some standard items that can be created from raw materials with wishpoints ? Or at least to whom must one speak to learn what items exist and what requirements (raw materials, wishpoints) each needs ? I hope I posted it on the correct thread.

It was my main reason to go to mp4 and mp5 (to see the story continue...which never happened) and to enter new lands I believe it is a starting point to understand this realm and I am glad Mur wants to reshape and improve it

Well if a player follows the rules and the announcements, keeps the balance, has a good overall activity and wants to find out what happens in the story next, then he'll reach mp5 very very soon and will get stuck in the story mode (probably as there's only one route not under construction) And alas he will not know that mp5 is a jungle where vet-osaurs prey on the newcomers out of boredom, there is no chance what so ever to defeat most of them or win the HC and will probably leave (if he's bored or unwilling to make a new character) or make a new character and stay mp3-mp4 forever or the most he can, if he's an addict to the game like me I still see this player as a new player and a player like me ----- I really don't know how much work is needed for it to be implemented (that's one of the reasons I suggested splitting it to 3 pieces the other is making it shorter for new players not to get bored from it) but perhaps it's more vital than other changes

Why not just making a HC tournament just for vet players, where everyone can compete over and over again (perhaps even from all mp levels at the same time) with no actual reward other than a special gold metal and their names inscribed in gold on the pillar under the statue in the tribunals in the order of most wins Wouldn't that be something to fight and train for ??

What's the point of being stuck in the game or having choices that lead nowhere? it is a reason for a new player to leave the game If not put an under construction sign on the choices that lead to under construction parts, make them invisible or finish the story mode making them active choices ------- Also North is right about the story mode it is a bit boring playing the same story over and over again Why not make a new story fpr every mp level [b]or[/b] cut this story in 3 parts in order to place each in every mp level For example in mp3 play until you receive the cube in mp4 play until you exit the cube in mp5 play until you exit the carnival

  15. hmmm very interesting reading.... It is a fact that the principles (and their uniqueness, player customization), the hidden magic and lore, and the superb artwork are the main reasons I signed up for the game So seeing the principles do nothing but fuel the tokens, seeing I stuck in the story mode for being (under-construction) and seeing the adventure log fade away... made me lose some excitement (the source of all rp and activity) I agree with everybody but I also understand why Mur felt he needed some things to be more automated... It is clearly lots and lots of work for one man, and as more things get implemented the harder it will be (complicated) for one man to keep everything supervised and under control -------------------- Perhaps if the kings wrote the adventure log with Mur's supervision... ?

  18. New creatures make the game more interesting So North, I'll be waiting to see your creature proposal (since I know your abilities in drawing and imagination. I'm even offering to help) As for my opinion I would like to see more creatures that would help the new players and keep them longer in the game, meaning - creatures easily recruited with abilities of a more chaotic effect or a strategic use (that would make more interesting battles and results) - creatures easily accessed but hard to acquire, with strong abilities but hard to train (like the Angiens) (that would keep players longer in the game and give them a fighting chance against old nearly invincible players)
  19. I like the whole idea of citizenship and Kings I think it already has made the game more interesting What I want to know is if it will be easy to change citizenships? Will anyone be able to forfeit his citizenship at any point ?

  24. ooooh a lot of negative criticism there, I guess I hit the spot Well just to be clear It wasn't supposed to be obligatory (choose established race or create new) and I meant benefits in a more rp way like special abilities (meaning in rp terms were-wolfs can turn into wolfs, vampires drink blood, hate silver, such things...) Now stone me lol

Currently one can find, through rp, many races in MD (vampire, human, angel (celestial being), werewolf, demon, ghost, elf, dwarf, faery, lich,...) but none is established (to my knowledge) or has common features We could have some established races (that would give a tag and perhaps an ability or attribute), recognized by the King and add more on demand, provided a number of players support that race So one could choose (at any point) entering an established race (with the benefits it gives)(or creating a new) That way everyone would have a tab with their race and description and find others like them (that way there can be also rewards and wanted signs for those that target a race for example the one who defeats the more orcs takes the title orcslayer and is automatically wanted from all the orcs) Just an idea
