Please don't wear out what I said. I won't leave the game, I don't know where you read that. Even if I put in the effort to revive him, I know some of you will kill him off again. My problem is not that he didn't get revived, but that he is bullied to leave the game. A literal character assassination if you will.

I think by society you mean haters. Ever since I joined DD was an ok, guy. You claim he was intolerant and rude and that you hated him for that, and want him to change. Well I think he changed since I don't see the problem you go on about. What you are left is your old grudges and now that he got to be king of the Labyrinth you want him to fall, to feel bad and chase him away because you are jealous and hateful. The way you punish him is an abuse in my opinion. And it came now because he got to be king and you just can't take that. If people wanted to, they could have dished out this punishment before (like they did I few times, I guess, after reading the posts). If you don't like how he talks to you then you can always just put him on an ignore list or report him. Destroying him in gameplay, threathening him that his character will be killed again and again is malicious, pety revenge. MD is dieing and **** like this is one of the things that drives people away. You can now congratulate your self for chasing away a player who just made a contribution. I now need to cool down. Good day.

I just want to know one thing. Why was DD killed in the first place? What was the reason to kill his character? Then make a voting where people who hate him RL geathered and voted agains his revival. (Was it puclic? I missed it apparently. I would have loved to hear the speechs) I can't shake of the feeling that someone abused his/her power to kill, because of RL hatred. Edit: Instant negrep by dst again. I guess it sticks. :P

What happened? This is so...sudden. Your Labyrinth quest went well, you created something new, got a kingdom and now you fade away (leave). I guess haters started hating even more... maybe that is why I saw your character dead. This. Unnecessarily rude, a low blow. It just shows how much you hate him and you want him out of the game. I actualy grew fond of him, despite his flaws (that some exaggarate). DD, your work should stay, you don't have to destroy it. There are still people who appreciate it.

It works for me, but still, at least four tiles look exactly the same and I see them as iterchangable. That picture was a poor choice IMO.

Were the rewards distributed to others? I did't get my gold coin yet. I am not in a hurry, just checking back, so it won't be forgotten.

So how are people doing? Are we close to get the quiz?

I did not have access until the obelisks appeared. Wasn't the path to it one of the wishshop items (like Loreroot back entrance and Berserker's charge)? Edit: Oh, yes, only the ones in the ones in the East remain for me. One seems to be a problem though.

Then there will be a separate pool for the surpluss gift. That also has to go somewhere right? Returned to the sender or someone gets double gift (the second one from Mur) The principle is simple, I think judges can work with it.

But you can put those 4 gifts on the "items given" lists and people will state what they got (to the judge) and if it was given away properly then it will make it's way to the "items recieved" list and it will match. You just compare the two pools (the ones given and the ones recieved).

I didn't had a bad experiance with the tutorial. But it might be just me, one of the 10% I am sad to see MD strugling. Maybe because I am relatively new to MD I can compromise with the changes. But there will be the elitist old timers, they are always present in every game. I wish I had joined MD while it was in it's prime. :( Oh and for the old ones. Don't go "Back in the old days..." on new players :P

I think a judge can objectively check if the gifting was done properly. You just need to make a list of items given and items recieved, by asking us participants. If the two lists match, than it is ok. If not then Rophs was naughty.

Of course not. I am not against you participating, I just pointed out some flaws of the contest. I will continue on, to get my third place. :P

Ok, I still intend to do it. At lest for the future use. I just feel the %-increase based ranking is a bit off. Since doing 3x-6x is nearly impossible. Not enough time/day. Even if people have more max AP they spend it and will use the boots anyway. :P AP does not restrict me, time does.

Ok, I started runing around for volition but there is no way I can beat Junior or Change. I need about 3 times the vloition increase to have a chance :)) (3 for every one they get).

I don't think anything that requires WP should be out for sale. Buying stuff to help fighting is ok. Buying stuff to unlock secrets? Not so much. I think research and exploration is one of the integral part of the game. People should put effort into it (that includes keeping track of things your self). You can always make these things your self, like the bestiary. Just copy all the text from every level of every creature into a word doc.

Ok, my mind = blown. Realy, realy good job on this part Asthir. And now I am thinking "why haven't I tought of that"? :)) Having a "physical" proof is intriguing. I'll have to go back now again, to find it my self. :P

I think 0x-0.5 is a better answer then 0x0 now that I think of it. At least it suits the clues, that DD has given, better. The center does not exist, needs to be realised --> not a full tile. If we take 0x0 it is a full tile, even if it doesn't contain a scene (now we know it does) it can be considered a solid wall or a pillar. 0x0 is how ever, mathematicly off if we take the current dimension of the of the labyrinth. It can only be the center if we assume that the Labyrinth is incompleate in some way ( I did that in my entry). 0x-0.5 is technicly given by the geometry of the current Labyrinth, no need for assumptions. Edit: Got instant neg rep from dst. :)) I wonder if it will stick.

Yes, there can be multiple centers, depending on the point of view. I admit I didn't think of 0x-0.5 (for me it was obvious that it exists and I searcehed for the non existant one :P). I tought it was 0x0, also I tought of a central mirror axis and one mirror axis even outside the labyrinth. Because as I interpreted it, center doesn't neceserily mean one point. It can be a line too.

I like the idea. Count me in! Also for fairness, older players have a higher AP pool so it somewhat balances out I guess (though they still need to wait to refill it after they used it up and need to get more vloition).

Results! Finaly! :)) My first gold coin, yey! On the subject of transparency. It would be good to see the scores of all participants. Send the submissions to Mur but only if he has time to look at them. If you are curious about my submission you can ask me to share it with you. Also I wait to see DD's theory. How ever I am reluctant to share my submission with cretain people I see as biased. I just don't feel confortable being judged by them. So don't make them public if not necessary. Edit: About posting scores. Would it be ok, to post the partial scores too? Like x (a,e,i) Becasue "impressiveness" is subjective to some extent, and we can see who was closest to the answer and who had a good reasoning even if the answer was not that close.

Yes, not a bug, but you reported it as an EXPLOIT. And no, I think not everyone knows the trick you pulled. Don't classify it as common knowledge.

I accept that MD isn't fair, but dst who didn't play fair shouldn't complain about fairness. Also you say I should deal with the unfair nature of the game, fine, but then why shouldn't dst? She complained about fairness in the first place even when she won, becouse of "what if" reasoning. I know it is a trial run, that is why I don't understand the (over)recation.
