This is the public section of the Public Council, here we will post updates about some of the things we are discussing and any polls that will be published for the public to vote in regards to any ideas that we may want to ask the public about. We'll periodically post our intended agendas and the synopses of our meetings and private discussions for the public to see what things we are currently talking about and to be able to pass comments and provide any ideas that they may have. We didn't get what we wanted out of PC last time we tried it. Less than a week after polls two of the members had dissipared from MD leaving PC in shambles. We've learned from our mistakes and now the MD community can easily pull this off. I propose people can self nominate in the next three days and then in the four days following that we make a poll to vote in two members. I nominate myself.

I'd like to meet with leaders from every land to discuss matters related to Seedwalks. It is no lie that MD will often have wars where there are prisoners taken and citizens killed, and during a Seedwalk myself and others would be very vulnerable to attack while peacefully walking across the realm visiting Awi's seeds. I'd like to discuss sanctions for Seedwalks so that player traveling to a Seedwalk and players participating in a Seedwalk shall not be attacked part of as an act of war. At the current time, out of the 4 public council members who originally stood we have one member, Syrian. This is in no way demeaning or being rude towards the other members who stood down or went inactive. I have been exceptionally happy and proud of the work that has been done by this first generation of the PC. The question I have now is whether there is a point to make a second generation. First of all I want to thank every person who voted for me to get there and demonstrated their trust in my skills and abilities. The quest was not one that should ever be repeated, There was no learning nor any serious entries. Specifically in my case it was detrimental to both Mur, Council and the general public as i was not going on the forum. I ended my participation early due to a need to do some forum work relating to my coding for MD. To all, It has been my great pleasure in helping with various MagicDuel Council projects and discussions, however, as you all know, I have been more than idle lately. With my current situation and life shifts, I do not have the time and willpower to dedicate to being a productive member of the MagicDuel Community. (this does not mean I don't miss it, or leave because it's too much work!) As such, I am hereby posting my intent to retire, effective now. There will be a story telling competition held at Tranquil Plains at 18ST and at 12ST on the 1st of November. Competitors will write a short and original MD-themed halloween story, the more unique and scary the story the better. The best 3 stories will be selected for rewards.
