yes - avaliblity of tools limit avaliblity of resources

Same opinion than chew, but i also beieve that availability can be somehow balanced

It did when I wanted to get herbs but I couldn't without depleting them (which I wasn't willing to do), but otherwise no.

Yes, it bothers me whenever i see a source depleted, regardless of what resource it has.

No, it doesn't bother me if i can't harvest at a source even it has available resources, as long as it is at it's safely level.

It's sometimes mildly annoying to be unable to harvest a resource, but they do replenish in time. It is more annoying to have to engage in disputes about when it is acceptable to harvest a resource.

Having a tool but not able to use it is bothersome personally, especially if the resource is not able to be gathered within a week. Does the lack of resources affect my character? Not really, I can always do other things, I just like gathering.

No - I dont think it has bothered me. THere was always some place from where I could harvest resources from.

No. The number of tools available is not directly correlated to the depletion of resources, in the long run everybody will have a chance to gather enough resources and depletion will simply stop.. [b]IF the tools are available[/b].. otherwise.. it's natural that someone who finally got a tool Will use it even if that use will cause depletion.

There seems to be enough unless they are depleted. Even then, I don't gather often.

Yes, most the more contested resources are depleted or pushed to their limit almost constantly. (herbs, water, to name two)
