I'm curious about the heat orb that I opened at the Christmas tree. It does not appear with the others. Because I have 6 already, does this mean I've reached the maximum amount? I think I remember other people commenting about not seeing theirs, too. Is this a bug?

If you did not PM Mur to fix it (when he asked us to PM him) then you'll not get it.
Since you miss it I suspect you did not send a PM ergo...no 7th orb for you this year.

I also noticed that the extra heat orb gift never appeared, but I hadn't heard about PMing Mur about this. Is it too late to do so at this point?

The same happened to me. I wasn't aware that he asked us to PM him.

i believe it got asked in game chat at the time, thought since i was not there and did not get it either....

I saw it discussed in chat but the way I understood it was that he was fixing the bug (and determining its origin)

well it happened last year as well, so the origin would be from when it was first implemented

I saw in chat when he asked us to PM him if we want the extra heat orb. I did. I got my heat orb. As far as I remember Mur even said that he got only 26 PMs.
It had to be done manually, that's why he asked for PMs.
Seems the adrenaline of unwrapping the presents made you miss one

I also got this problem, I actualy sent this pm to Mur on time and then I though that i already got 6 slotes and that's max so I deleted my post to him (not to spam him)

I also have this problem both this year and last year.
I only have 4 heat orbs right now, 2 initial and 2 from MD shop. I just thought it's a glitch...
Also, is increase of creature slot also one of the gifts at the Christmas tree...?

No, the slot is not a gift. You just got a spare creature. When you'll sac/sell one of the crits everything will get back to normal.

I will join the queue about the heat orb, haven't recieved mine either .but if it has to be done manuall I pass, we will have another change next year, don't disturb Mur in his winter sleep for this;P

And you probably will not receive it. It was one chance to get it and most of you missed it. I doubt you'll get it now but if you wish I can hope with you .

If we at least have a list here, we can use it if needed for future reference

Seems pretty annoying for people who could'nt be online when mur was doing it... and we all did tell him last Christmas it didnt work...

Oh well, another christmas before we get a 7th orb...

Only one year to go, it's not that long...

And anyways, the official announcement has been announced, so that's a certainty that we'll have to wait next christmas before we get another heat orb =)

Well, I guess it's shop reset time.. I used to think 6 was max, but several people seem to have 9, even 20.. I guess 7 is still achievable shadow =)

i also got a orb that did not appear and 2 present whit the message not aviable but i got a imp and some other things so i am happy he gave so mush to all so why complain dont forget the best gift he gave is this game *smiles*

THE HEAT ORB GIFT WILL NOT BE FIXED AND IT WILL BE TAKEN OFF OF THE GIFTS FROM NOW ON
MOST OF US HAVE 6 ORBS WHEN WE GOT THE GIFT AND 6 ORBS IS PROBALLY THE MAX WE WILL EVER SEE....
IF NOT I MEAN HOW MUCH HEAT DO YOU NEED TO STORE SINCE THE MAX IS ONLY 4K...
