This is the place for ongoing dialog and planning about what Legend Speakers should be doing. Broadly, we strive to use the Storytelling arts to inspire and liven up the Realm. We care about the impact we make on the future, the meaning and vision in the stories, as well as the lessons learned from the past, and generally leave the recording of the dry dusty facts to the Archivists; more analysis and insight rather than bulk data. The 'envoy' concept is dead, but people from all Lands and Alliances are encouraged to join in and/or support this effort for the good of all. Wanted to give a nod to Else, the first new member of Legend Speakers since it's rejuvenation at the 16-year Anniversary. Else is an impressive grinder, and as Bailiff will be using his strength to keep order in the Alliance, and to keep the fighters distracted at storytelling events. (Hecklers, on the other hand, who seek to become martyrs, will instead still be met with Silver Tongue and/or Toad Speak). Please offer Else your congratulations and support in this new role.

Obviously, we won't have portals forever, and our sleep cycles are... diverse. Where then should we meet - routinely or for special storytelling events? I prefer the area from Wind's Sanctuary north through to the Cafe by the Maple. Winds being a sanctuary means no harassing fights. The Maple has -- Clickies (thanks, Aia)! You can get to either place from GoE with 120 AP without land loyalty or cartography. (An extra 20 if you have to EXIT Wind's after popping in for a drink on your way north). We are a neutral Alliance/Guild part of Magic Duel Archive Lands that are looking for creative, but professional, individuals who are looking to seek an active part in the community. As part of the Alliance, we do expect that our members function well as part of a team, participate as much as one can in Alliance run events, and overall participate in helping the Magic Duel community come to life and grow. With any change of leadership comes a refinement and restatement of purpose for an alliance. Here is my view. Legend Speakers are not so much neutral as being dedicated to the healthy balance and growth of the realm as a whole. We will champion the underdogs and be advocates for truth and justice as the culture of the Magic Duel realm develops into the future. Individuals within Legend Speakers are encouraged to pursue their selected "Cause Celeb" and "Interest Focus". Ideally, each land should be assigned an Envoy to work closely with them in glorifying their particular culture and achievements. This cannot be done impartially, but must be done with passion. How…

At current, there are only 4 legend speakers, of which Fyrd Argentus and I are the only active ones. The guild was set up to, as the name says, find, record, and disseminate the legends of the various characters in the game. If there are individual Legend Speakers who also happen to know a bit of coding and who are willing to offer these services to others, it has nothing to do with the role of the guild itself.
